Clean organized store. Clean hey sell anything from hardware to kitchen plates, mugs, small appliances like coffee makers to large appliances like stoves etc. Staff is friendly and helpful. They also have a nice selection on furniture chairs tables and beds. I did not find any bed frames I liked but they do have tons of lazy boy chairs looks like they sell a little bc they have lots. read more

We have been loyal customers of Martin's for over 20 years. In March of 2024 we purchased a Maytag refrigerator that we began using in late April of 2024. About 3 weeks ago the freezer stopped making ice & the unit runs non-stop, but the freezer will not cool. We contacted Martins & they dismissed us to Maytag. After hours upon hours of research & dead-end phone calls to Maytag (& a second attempt with Martin's) we are left with a $1200 fridge that we can't use. I am highly disappointed that we have had zero assistance/support from Martins. I understand it's past the "one-year warranty" but what about standing behind a product that YOU sold us? I'm sad, frustrated and sharing as a buyer beware. We loved supporting a local, family-owned business, but this hits hard. read more

Everyone is always so helpful and they have almost everything you need. I especially like the seasonal displays.

Great hardware store, has so many wonderful things. Bicycle innertubes which are hard to find but this store has a large variety. All the basic home neccessities are here from door plates, lightbulbs, screws, organizational items and etc. Items for all rooms of the house are available here.I buy my hand and foot warmers here also. They even have yard items, coffee supplies including coffee pods. Helpful staff, clean store, great prices and a good reward program. Don't go here if your looking for something put together "spreaders, mowers ", they don't even keep inventory on site only floor models. you have to drive to the other side of town just to get what you need. Just bought a new fridge at Martins. The delivery time was exact like I wanted, and not some 4 hour window. The delivery guys were pros all the way in their install. I support local business's, not some big box store with lousy support and delivery. read more

Had a great indoor experience with salesperson at martins, which is where we like to go and get stuff for the house and help support smaller businesses. But, the delivery kids were very immature and did nothing but complain about working while juggling a screwdriver that went flying and left a hefty scratch on the hardwood floor. I did my best to keep my cool, even though I wanted to explode! Worst service I have ever had for any delivery period. I recommend the store, but not the delivery service. Bring a truck if you want something, or handle a couple of immature kids damaging your home and then leave. read more

Also called "Ace Hardware" according to the sign outside. Don't be fooled, though. The place seems larger than it appears and the employees are super friendly and helpful, just like in an old fashioned hardware store. You don't wait long for help, either (unlike in big box centers). Ample free parking behind the location, right in downtown Tecumseh. Nice people, nice stuff, nice place. read more

Make sure you discuss their service territories with them. They promised they had a technician who'd service my washer and dryer if anything should happen. Well, my new appliances need service after a few months of purchasing (not draining water) and they don't provide service where I live. read more

They provide true customer service - they care about you as a customer, they provide service when you are in the store, they are available if there are any issues after a purchase, their delivery staff is fantastic - all their staff for that matter! I do realize that Martins has a really good record for doing business with but I purchased a Lazy Boy leather chair that had to be ordered and I did not receive the chair for about 6 weeks later. Loved the chair appearance and was comfortable with the exception of the arms made a "cracking, popping", sound and I noticed that both arms were lacking the comfort compared to the rest of the chair. I called Martins and the repair department told me that the problem was a result of Lazy Boy not putting enough "stuffing" in the arms and it was a problem that had to happen with other Lazy Boy chairs. They picked the chair up and Martins had it for 3 weeks. When returned back to me the chair arms were better but the seat and back would slide back and forth about 2 inches and become worse. Made another call and "Brandon Martin" came to look at the chair without any tools so he used my tools to "make adjustments". and told me that if it got worse to call and someone would make another pickup well, that was 28 days ago and they still have the chair. I called and spoke with Brandon and he "thought it had been taken care of" and would call me back. He Brandon returned the call and told me that "the motor had burned up"! Being electric ,the motor worked fine when Brandon was here and set in it . Motor was fine and I am still waiting for some type of fair and reasonable action to take place. read more

i have always bought at martin's most especially the big appliances. their customer service has always been the best. the delivery is on time and they take your old appliance for you. any questions even after you buy, they always deal with it nicely and literally cover your back as they say.small town very friendly and great customer service at all times. read more
