5 stars ‼ If you didn't know, this crystal recently moved locations and became a crystal shop AND a cafe!! If you're looking for a little magic with your morning coffee, Sacred Energy Crystal, Coffee, & Cafe is your new go-to spot! This place is an absolute gem (pun intended). First off, the espresso drinks are so reasonably priced--finally a spot where you don't need to pay $8 for a decent latte. I grabbed an oat milk cappuccino and it was smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. But the real star of the menu? The Amethyst Matcha. It's this fun, dreamy-looking lavender matcha latte that tastes as good as it looks--lightly sweet, super creamy, and totally Instagram-worthy. Food-wise, everything I tried was delicious. The avocado toast ($9.99) is next-level (topped with a fried egg and balsamic glaze), and the Big Dipper burger ($13.99) was amazing. They clearly put love and intention into their ingredients. The cafe opens early at 7:00am, which is perfect for early birds like me. The crystal shop at the front opens a bit later at 9:00am, and it's a total vibe--tons of beautiful stones, incense, and energy tools to browse while sipping your drink. It's like getting a mini spiritual reset with your coffee. Not only does this place have coffee, food, and an incredible crystal shop, they also have Hape ceremony's, Yoga, and more upstairs. Which I believe you sign up for online. I came in on a Sunday morning and all the staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance is cozy with just the right amount of woo-woo. I've been here twice... both times, I've been upcharged way more than I should have. The first time, I told myself it was a simple mistake, and I'll give them another chance eventually. I decided to stop by today because I was in desperate need of some great energy and a few little treats. I didn't notice until after I had left that they overcharged me yet again. I give people second chances, but when it happens again, I know not to bother giving them another one. If you shop here, be mindful of what they're charging you and speak up. Sacred Energy is in a small Victorian house remodeled into a welcoming shop. We were shopping for palm stones that day, and Sacred Energy filled that niche. We saw gemstones ranging in size from tiny to huge, from ubiquitous to exotic + hard to find. Such impressive offerings! They also carry neat artwork, salt lamps, cool jewelry, tarot, incense, singing bowls, books, giant crystals, etc. They had a terrific section of stones to look through. Amazing shop for all your metephysical needs! I was fortunate enough to be taking a training right across the street for a week and stopped in multiple times finding something new each time. There is no way to discover everything in the shop in one visit. It is a treasure hunt meets kid in a candy store! They even have Crystal infusion room for rejuvenation which is amazing! Came by this shop a couple months ago as I was looking for some specific rocks (rocks, crystals, gems, stones, etc.--insert your favorite term here). They have a nice selection and I appreciated that they had some precious stones as well. There is a nice selection of books and other items. I believe they do meditations and other types of things, but I didn't actually see anything about that as I was looking around the shop. There is a parking lot next to it and if it is full there is a sign saying you can park around the building. People who are sensitive to strong smells should know that the incense inside the building was rather intense. This probably would not be a problem for most, but I know there are people who are sensitive to this. The one thing I wasn't too happy about was that I couldn't get a printed receipt. went to this location for the FREE event advertised on the Meetup app with my friend. While the sounds were good, the ending was off-putting, uncomfortable, and deceitful. First thing to address: at the end, the person leading the experience, Mallory Sceili, told us all to hold hands and give sentiments to each other. I have no interest in touching other people and giving statements that I reserve for family only. Doing such a thing should be explicitly stated within the details of the event, and at the very least, make the event a safe space to where the attendees can feel comfortable opting out of the physical touch and sentiments portion. Instead, weren't event given a choice, we were TOLD to do so. I felt my boundaries compromised. Secondly, this is advertised as a FREE event (see screenshot). I was blindsided at the end when the event host demanded that we pay $15 to her Venmo. Here's the thing, I certainly would have tipped and possibly bought something from the upstairs shop to support them for hosting a FREE event. I'm not cheap and $15 is nothing to to me, however doing the whole bait-and-switch plus the issue I mentioned above was very off-putting to me. I was planning to browse and purchase some crystals, but I headed straight for the door after. Upon later examination of the fine print, it told guests to plan on giving $10-$20 personal investment. Okay, so why are you grandstanding your guests to pay $15 in front of everybody? In conclusion, I left feeling manipulated and uneasy- which is not the feeling one looks for upon attending a spiritual "meditation" session. I should have just stayed at home and listened to crystal sound bowels on YouTube for free. You've lost both me and my friends business permanently, and we will strongly caution our circle to avoid Sacred Energy Empowerment Center. Plus I've also reported the deceitful practices to the Meetup app. Going forward, I strong encourage your business to do two things: 1) do not assume guests are comfortable touching or taking intimately with other guests. And if so, explicitly state this or make it a safe space to where everybody feels comfortable to opt out. 2) Never advertise anywhere your event is "Free" when it is absolutely not the case. Meetups has this capability if including the price in the advertisement. read more
