Cherish is phenomenal when it comes to postpartum healing. When I first met her I loved the positive aurora that was surrounding her. She made me feel at ease, comfortable, and can fully let myself go without judgement. I saw Cherish for postpartum services at home which she provided: Belly Binding, New Mama postpartum massage, counseling, and spiritual rituals. The new mama postpartum massage was amazing. Cherish even helped me massage my breasts where I wouldn't have any milk ducts clogged. My shoulders, hips, and just everywhere feels wonderful afterwards. When it comes to counseling or just having someone to talk to, Cherish, is a great listener and feedback. Cherish was my postpartum doula after my second son was born. I was very nervous about the postpartum period because I experienced severe PPD after my first son's birth. I loved that I could be upfront with Cherish about how I was feeling when I met her before the birth. That helped me to feel really safe and comfortable afterward, because I knew I wouldn't have to pretend that I had everything together if things got rough. In no small part thanks to Cherish, my postpartum experience was much different the second time around. She came in a couple of times a week to help with the housework, cook delicious meals and, best of all, give my body some very gentle healing. Cherish is amazing! Have had 3 prenatal massages with her so far and after the first one I knew it was a great fit and bought a 4 pack and hired her for doula services. Her energy is calm, positive, and "let it go" based. Which I desperately need. At my last massage I'd been suffering from 2 days straight of migraines, and GONE. Prior to that I had severe SI joint pain probably due to Posterior baby, and had tried EVERYTHING (meds, PT, all the related stretches I could find on the internet, even acupuncture) and nothing helped... except Cherish. She is spiritual but pushes no specific religion your way; she seems to me rather multi-modal in this way, if that makes sense? Anyways, not gonna lie... I've been seeing Suzy weekly for deep tissue work for relief of neck/shoulder pain as well as soreness in my hips and legs due to cycling. I met Cherish as a massage therapist during my 3rd trimester. I have been having regular massages with Cherish since I was in my second trimester of pregnancy. Now, nine months, post partum, I continue to see her on a regular basis because of how wonderful her massages are and what they do for my body and mental well being. I had my first massage with Cherish yesterday and it was epic, to say the least. She was so kind and inviting from the first moment we met. She took the time to talk to me about myself and my pregnancy and to discuss what was happening to my body so she could address my needs specifically in the massage session.
