History
Established in 2019.
Serenity Bodywork started in the small mountain town of Boulder Creek, California. The owner moved to the Santa Cruz Mountains with her husband to raise a family & grow old together. September specializes in therapeutic relaxation as well as prenatal massage with advanced training in birth preparation. She works hard to provide her community with options for pain relief, stress relief, relaxation & more through massage therapy & its many modalities. And now having more highly trained therapists to work with the community allows her to continue this journey! Serenity Bodywork believes in giving back to the community & often does local events, onsite monthly deals & year round discounts for teachers & fire fighters.
Meet the Business Owner: September M.
Growing up, my mom always said I was destined to do something with my hands. After she passed away, my journey to fulfill that destiny began.
Coming across massage therapy as a career was put in front of my eyes by the universe. With timing, the ease of the enrollment process & student aid, it felt like it was meant to be.
My education stirred up a deeper passion for the human body then I knew I had & resulted in advanced training in neuromuscular therapy. I passed the MBLEX Exam & became certified. Upon graduation I had 1350 hours of training. In addition to thAs a life-long student, I seek continued education regularly to enhance my skills & further my ability to tailor each session to meet the needs of my clients.
My style includes a wide range of therapeutic modalities that allow me to be present in the moment. Using various techniques to alleviate pain, increase function & movement of muscles, aid in the body's natural healing process & restore a greater sense of well-being.
