How much is the ropes course per person and for how many hours?

Hi! I do groups at a specific time and the cost depends on the number of people you are bringing and how many facilitators I will need. Please tell me more about what you’re looking for and let’s create a great program.

The top rope routes don't seem to be changed out frequently. There's a lot more boulder space than rope climbing. Lots of table space for people to do laptop work. Luckily they have a system here where they'll call the description of the car on the PA to move their car if someone parked inside needs to get out (trusting that people who did park behind log it on the clipboard at the entrance.) Gym feels stuffier and smaller too, and it was pretty crowded on a Thursday evening. Lots of overhang here compared to the Post. The ladder coming down from problems that require going over is intimidating for a beginner climber as there's no railing for a steep decline. Still was able to get in a decent number of climbs though on the other walls. All the other amenities are standard for a touchstone gym. Overall, it's alright compared to other gyms, but if you're a first timer or live nearby, it's nice and well kept. 3.5 stars would probably be more accurate imo, but I'll round up bc this place is better than non touchstone gyms Despite this gym being the closer drive, I prefer Pasadena or Torrance (15-20 min difference).

The staff was able to make the whole experience safe and informative and were so engaging and interactive with the kids. The lady working the gym today was such a buzz kill. I am all about following the rules and being safe especially in a climbing environment. We were told two rules at the beginning. Harness and shoes must be worn in rope areas and the bouldering area is off limits to 5 and under and that was changing soon. Icing on the cake was the pretentious tone she gave my young son and I by stating that he wouldn't enjoy climbing as he is being put in a harness. Way to set him up for success by saying a negative comment before he even gets to try it. Remember boulderdash staff what you say around kids they absorb. Words have a huge impact. You might "teach" children in your classes but not all children are the same. I've never been to a climbing gym that a manager can go climb with friends and family for hours. She wasn't supervising who was coming in and out and what was happening throughout the gym. When said manager did decide to come around she was randomly yelling at our kids or us for not doing things she never told us about in the first place. One star for the power trip employee with a negative attitude. One star for the cleanliness of the facility. It could use a deep cleaning. Sanitizer stations would be good. The lady working chased and almost grabbed my child for accidentally walking in the restroom with her climbing shoes to wash her hands. Again I understand it's the rules and we followed the rules given. That was one moment a child forgot and a parent was standing up to stop the child from going in. The gym had plenty of beginner routes and top ropes. Boulder area could use improvements. The weight station is a joke. A few free weights and kettle bells crammed in a corner. We will stick with climbing outdoors. After all it is Southern California.

Routes are rotated regularly -- boulder routes change on Tuesdays and new rope routes go up on Thursdays and Fridays, so it always feels fresh and well maintained. They also host events and community gatherings from time to time, which gives the gym a really lively vibe. It doesn't feel like just another climbing gym -- it really feels like a community. Their yoga classes are also a little different from typical studios. Many of the instructors are climbers themselves, so the classes complement climbing and strength training really well. The yoga classes and fitness area are upstairs, and that section is for ages 14 and up. One of my favorite moments is after a shower, sitting in the dry sauna while the kids enjoy it too. Hearing them humming or chatting happily just makes me feel so happy -- moments like that remind me I'm really glad we come here. As a mom, I've visited other climbing gyms, but this place just has a different kind of energy. If you're looking for a climbing gym with a great community and well-maintained routes, I definitely recommend this place. Even though it's a bit farther for us, it's worth the drive.

I've also just come here with friends from time to time to climb and it's such a great experience. The staff are so nice and you will get a forearm and upper body workout forsure! Very beginner friendly so come out and try it! I highly recommend this place!
