Pizza made right in front of you

Fantastic ambience! As a vegan, I wouldn't normally choose a pizza place for dinner, but after a long day of traveling, I just wanted something nearby. I'm glad those circumstances led me to Sacro Cuore. They have a marinara pizza on the menu -- an easy option for vegans, no explanation necessary -- which was simple and delicious. The house wine was good and the service excellent. This was no culinary revelation, but a great setting for a nice evening and sometimes that's all you need.

Sacro Cuore is a nice and light little resaurant near Kensal Rise Overground station. The kitchen is in one corner of the restaurants, so if you are really interested in food, you can easily peak over the chefs' shoulders. For some reason, I do not know exactly why, this place reminds me a little bit of Pizza East which is probably not a bad thing. They have a small outside seating area, which seems to be drinking and waiting area, as there are no tables. Whatever this is for, it looks nice and with one entire front open, it ensures a nice breeze on a warm summer's day. When I was there for dinner on a Saturday evening, Sacro Cuore was quite busy with a mixed crowd. I really liked the atmosphere. But I must say, depending on your mood and how fussy you are, you could probably find a number of faults with the pizza. You might find the pizza too thin, a little bit burnt and too soft and soggy at the same time, or the toppings too sparsely, and while I would not disagree that this was probably not the best pizza in my life, I simply liked it the way it was. And it was huge as well; a bit smaller would do for me. I had a white wine with my pizza and must say, I also quite liked it. You have not much choice if you order by the glass, actually, you can only order their house wine, but when the house wine tastes fine, I am happy with that. For dessert, the Nutella pizza was very tempting, but after my Pizza Bufala, I could not have another pizza, so I went instead for some ice cream. Sacro Cuore serve Oddono's (http://www.oddonos.com/ ) ice cream I am not entirely sure whether I tasted it before at another place or not, I had definitely heard about it. Honestly, I found the strawberry sorbet a little bit too sweet, but the stracciatella was fabulous. All in all, I can recommend Sacro Cuore. The pizza might not be for everyone, but it's a lovely little and buzzy restaurant that's worth a visit. And when you have emptied your plates, you could enjoy a little walk in the leafy and suburban neighbourhood that feels so different from central London, despite actually being in the middle of zone 2.

It is a small sit, so reservations are a must, although they did accommodate some walk-ins. Everything was freshly made which added to an elevated experience. Service was perfect balance of being prepared to execute as well as being able to spending time getting to know each other. This palace is highly recommended!

My mom is, which is why we went but there are rather limited options, at least on pasta courses, that don't include pecorino. 2 - we tried three different pasta dishes. What made them truly stand out was the freshness of the pasta. That said, the sauces weren't remarkable. I tried a special pasta with pecorino, butternut squash, and mushrooms which was nice and not heavy but not partial flavorful. 3 - the ambiance is great if you like a small restaurant- with maybe 10 tables and 500 sq ft of space, this restaurant has character and charm. 4 - the service was outstanding. The staff were kind and efficient. 5 - the dessert was just OK - had some scoops of ice cream and the peanutella was outstanding while the strawberry and the pistachio were just fine. 6 - the appetizer cheese plate was the real highlight of the night here. Fresh cold cuts and cheese with the most wonderful fig jam. All in all; this is a good stop and you certainly won't have a bad experience! Perhaps just not the most notable.

We came across this place and had a preview of their menu. When we saw food we would like to try we walked in. We were sat almost immediately. It was a little slow when we first arrived but soon picked up. The staff was super friendly and the place gave a quaint home like feel. We sat down and ordered some cocktails and water. We didn't want to stuff ourselves so we order the margarita pizza and an order of fries to share. Everything came out pretty quickly. We were offered a spicy oil for our meal. The guy said it was spice but to be honest it was on the more mild side of spicy. I like spicy food and this wasn't spicy enough for me. Maybe some chili pepper flakes mixed in what have been the spicy I was expecting. My friend and I enjoyed our meal and the service. I think everything was good. The reason for my four stars was because the basil (although fresh) was scarce in my pizza. The guy also had to substitute the drink we ordered with a syrup he had in stock because the one the drink calls for wasn't available. Also, who wants to pay £4 for a bottle of water to share. Crazy. Other then those small criticisms I would come back. I think it's worth coming back to. Give them a try and judge for yourself. My tastebuds and stomach were very happy.
