From the front office to the back, it's always a pleasure. The staff are always friendly and seem to enjoy working there. I've been seen by both Dr. McCann & Dr.Yetter. Both are very friendly, informative, patient , and have an excellent "bed side manner". I was having so many issues with getting an extension from my GP so I thought I'd reach out to this office for help. They were on it and SO helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. I really appreciate their effort and aid which my GP office wasn't willing to do. When I was here last, they were running a bit behind, I had another Dr. appt to get to. The other doctor stepped in and saw me quickly . Even though it was a very quick appt , lots of questions were asked by the doctor and I got a lot of useful information. I wouldn't recommend this group to anyone. Five years ago I had hammertoe surgery with Dr. Sabet and I am in a lot of pain and my toes are overlapping and different lengths on each foot. I am not sure if Dr. Sabet or his assistant did each surgery but whoever did them was not a professional. Plenty of bedside manner but horrible surgical results. When I sent a letter to Dr. Sabet registered mail, he never responded. Stay away from this place! read more

This place really has gone down hill since Dr. Sabet retired. Both me and my spouse used Dr. Sabet in the past and had no issues. But today's experience was terrible. Arrived for a 2 pm appointment with Dr. Yetter right on time. Waiting room was tiny, cramped, and packed with people (I was lucky to get a seat). Then proceeded to wait 35 minutes in the waiting room before getting put in a room. After getting put in a room, I waited *another* 30 minutes and no doctor. I understand that doctor's offices get busy, but during the entire time I sat in the waiting room and exam room, no one came by to apologize or explain why it was taking so long. I finally had to leave for another personal appointment and told the receptionist this. Only response was, "OK, I understand." I have not had a bad experience at a doctor's office like this in a LONG, long time. If this is what the courtship is like, don't want to be "married" to this doctor. No thank you. read more

This is a long overdue post. I injured my foot during a marathon in the summer of 2016. I went to see this group the following week after reading all of the awesome reviews. Dr.McCann seemed VERY rushed and immediately convinced I had a hairline fracture from running the marathon. He ordered an X-Ray which came back negative. He said it might be a tiny fracture that an X-ray won't reveal and I was to wear a small boot and come back in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later I hadn't improved, so I was given an air cast for 4-6 weeks longer. After wearing the cast for that long, I thought my foot was healed. Fast forward to a few months later, the same pain in my foot was even worse. That's when I visited Dr.Cox at Moulton Podiatry group. He did all of the things I expected Dr.McCann to do. After spending ample time learning about my lifestyle and symptoms, diagnosed me with a neuroma. No wonder the X-ray was fine...it is a nerve issue. I am now being correctly treated and my pain has been relieved. So disappointing to have wasted time here at Saddleback Podiatry. read more

Doctor was fine...I would give him 4 stars. The office ladies get 1-2 stars. Staff was not friendly, they didn't greet us when we arrived nor said goodbye. What bugged me moist and why I am writing this review is the following. There was an elderly patient exiting the examination area. She was using a walker attempting to hold the door ajar and push her walker to get out into the waiting room. I rushed to help hold the heavy door for her; the two office ladies didn't look up nor offer to assist. I am sure many of their patients are elderly and one would expect a friendlier medical staff that was helpful. At least open the door for your patients in need. So I had my surgery today and to some it up... It went perfect! Dr. Sabet isn't your run of the mill doctor. He actually cares about his work and it really shows. I previously had surgery at Kaiser and they didn't do a great job... This time I around I set out to find a doctor who was passionate about his work and made it his top priority to get me good and strong so I could snowboard again. I went to a few doctors before I found Dr. Sabet and none of them seemed like they cared much about my goal of getting back on my snowboard. One doctor even told me I should consider taking up skiing. After hours searching the web I came across Dr. Sabet's website... People left amazing reviews all across the web and I thought it was too good to be true. When I came in for my first visit... I knew from the moment I met him he was the guy I wanted to fix my feet. He has the best attitude of pretty much any doctor I've ever met. Prior to my surgery I met the entire army of people who were going to be working along side Dr. Sabet and everyone of them reinforced my decision. They all cared about getting my feet back to 100%. In my last surgery... My doctor put in pins to support the bones while they were healing but that was it. Dr. Sabet built my foot like a tank with 5 screws and a plate... I feel like I am going to be unstoppable. My wife was also super stoked on Dr. Sabet as well. All the other doctors that had surgeries today came to the waiting room and called the name of the patient and said they were done with a very cold shoulder. Not Dr. Sabet... He came into the waiting room, spotted my wife and went and sat right next to her. He told her the surgery was complete and everything had gone amazingly well. He explained to her about the screws and plate he put in my foot and assured her I will be stronger than ever and back on my snowboard in no time. All in all... I was on a road trip passing through town and had a really bad ingrown toenail that got infected. I was calling around town and nobody could get me in, except Saddleback Valley Podiatry Group!!! It was amazing they were able to get me in the next morning and remove the ingrown toenails. Dr. McCann was very personable, professional, and very skilled. Dr. Yetter is the worst podiatrist ever. His exam consisted of pressing where I told him it hurt one time. And he spent the rest of the time yelling at me about not wearing my orthotics. He also did not notice the bone spur on the CD I brought that the radiologist also missed and two other podiatrist confirmrd that there was one. And he offered injections which could have seriously made my foot worse if there was a tear. My new podiatrist told me and was very careful with the evaluation and also sent me to get an MRI which confirm that I have three total issues going on in my foot and ankle causing foot pain. Dr. Yetter is the worst doctor I have ever seen. I went to him because I have foot problems related to chemotherapy side effects. He just started trimming back my nails without any sense of the pain he was causing me. I can't believe he didn't have some topical numbing agent he could have used. I cried as he trimmed my nails. Maybe excellent doctors, but incredibly confusing website, stating that their offices are "conveniently located in Laguna Hills" and listing no other locations under "LOCATIONS", whereas the doctor was located miles away, in Laguna Beach. When I called the website's telephone number, for information regarding the appointment, the person who answered told me to come to the Laguna Hills location, shown on the website map.. Only upon further questioning did she acknowledge that the the group actually has 2 other office locations, in Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach, and that the scheduled doctor appointment would in Laguna Beach, not Laguna Hills. When I inquired bout the incorrect information on the website and the fact that she initially had directed me to the wrong location, she professed to have no knowledge of the website information, conveyed the impression that that she couldn't care less about the discrepancies but, finally, but did provide the telephone number and location information for the Laguna Beach appointment. read more

Not the best bedside manners from the doctor. The physical therapist sadly made some racist comments about the people he sees driving in his neighborhood. Sadly, the doctor only recommended two weeks of physical therapy for tendinitis to which I am still working through 8 months later at a better physical therapy place and a new podiatrist. Tried to sell me operations. Did sell me the worst orthotics which did a lot of damage. I felt lots of pain but thought that was part of the recovery. Took months to recover from using the bad orthotics but am fine now. I guess those operations were not necessary. I sent their EXPENSIVE orthotics back. Never saw them again. I wonder if they sold them to someone else. read more

Only provided a single star as zero star is not available. My PCP talked me into going to this Podiatry Practice as I had unbelievable pain in my feet (Plantar Fasciitis) and it had lasted for months. They charged me a $60.00 co pay and refused to do the injection (the only reason I made the appointment) and yes they told me they could treat at my New Patient appointment when I inquired at the time. However; once they got me there, they refused to help me, stating my insurance would not pay for it unless I made another appointment, took off from work again and paid another $60.00 co pay. I contacted my insurance and they informed me this was not true and they could have helped me while I was in their office. Finally got my injection, the doctor told me if it didn't help there were other treatment options available. Well his injection did not help, it has been three months and no was has ever attempted to follow up and see if the injection was helpful or discuss any other treatment options. FYI... My dog's Vet does an excellent job of post treatment follow up, I guess they care about their patients. read more

I heard from Dr. Sabet through a friend of mine and when I meet him for the first time 4 years ago , he was one of the most wonderful doctors I have ever meet. Now after 4 years, I came back and finally got my bonion removed by Dr. Sabet. I knew from the beginning I was in good hands and had no worries. I am very happy and at the same time sad because I won't be a part of that group, due to my insurance changing, but I know in my heart that Dr. Sabet will be nice to answer any questions I have regarless of the situation. I always look forward to going to the Laguna Hills office because the staff is very kind, respectful, helpful, and always makes me feel welcome. To me that is the most important quality that I like to see when I go to an office , a smile on their face and feel welcome!! I have had so many problems with my feet over the years, including 3 botched surgeries! I've been to dozens of podiatrists and Dr. Yetter was the first and only one who really knew what he was doing. I had been diagnosed with a neuroma, and an ingrown wart. It turns out they were both just callouses. Once they were removed, I walk better than I have in a really long time. I guess I should have looked at these reviews before I went to this medical practice. They are a bunch of crooks. They bill your insurance for services that weren't even provided. When trying to resolve these issues, the doctor sends a nasty email to me. They wouldn't even try to explain why they overcharge you. They just say they bill everyone the same.I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this practice. They are unethical. Next step is sending an inquiry to the Orange County Medical Association. read more

I've had numerous visits with a doctor with this group and my overall was good with a little bad (hence the okay rating). I expressed dissatisfaction with something that occurred and the office manager Heather handled it wonderfully. She contacted me, apologized, and refunded me for my loss. She made me feel comfortable and heard. These are great signs of customer service and I'm sure others could seek treatment here and a positive experience. The staff is friendly and even Dr. Sabet (who I had never met, but I believe is the owner) contacted me made sure that I was taken care of. It says a lot that he'd be willing to ensure my well being. Office was ok. When we finally did get to see the doctor, it was a good experience and he did help my son. But when I had originally made the appointment, the only time they could schedule him was when he was In school. So I pulled him out of school. When I arrived, I was told that the doctor had been in surgery and the surgery had run over time and that he would be delayed by at least 1/2 hour. No one called me to inform me prior so that I would not have had to go through all this trouble. Then they acted like it was no big deal to have us sit and wait for the doctor. The staff is very unorganized and they could care less if they make you wait. read more

Take caution as to how they bill you and your insurance. We had signed a paper at the time of visit before any service was provided and before seeing the Dr. After the the visit the amount billed vs. the amount that was agreed and signed prior to service are different. The amount billed is substantially higher. We have tried to come to terms with the billing department and even though we have it in writing they are not willing to resolve the issue. Unfortunately we have had to take additional measures and file complaints with The State of California and California Medical Board. read more

Their billing department never submitted my bill to the insurance company and is now trying to ruin my credit instead of simply billing my insurance. The billing person is never in the office. They also don't return any calls about billing. Terrible customer service! And I have been hung up on twice by the lady in the front office! I am filing a grievance with my old insurance company! This rating is simply a reflection of the office staff and not the doctor. Besides the fact that they are not friendly at all, you won't get as much as a measely apology when they make any mistakes. My last appointment, I was unable to find my appt card and could not remember if it was at 2 or 2:30. I never received a reminder call so I tried calling the office only to get the answering service who cannot provide any information or help (why do they pay an answering service when they literally cannot do anything except tell you the office is closed for lunch?). I was told they return from lunch at 1. Called again at 1 and no one was back. Proceeded to call again a couple of times, but needed to leave by 1:30 if I was going to arrive by 2 IF that was my appt time. Still couldn't get anyone 30 min after they were due back to office. I headed out so I wouldn't be late and continued to call every 5-10 min. They were 45 min late from lunch and finally confirmed my appt for 2:30 so now I was 30 min early. No apology for being so late and then the Dr was running 15 min behind so I waited 45 min. Scheduled my next appt when I left. Again, did not get any reminder call so I looked at my card for 10/29 at 4:15. I get there and they tell me it was on 10/24. I let them know my card says 10/29 (no apology). I let them know I did not get a call (no apology). She looks it up and says the system shows call was made and answered by a person. No it was not. I go through my call log and confirm # and show her that the only call from this # was a missed call and show my voicemail log has no message. She insists it was answered by a live person because that is what the computer says and it's automated. I ask how it knows if it's a live person or voicemail, she says she doesn't know and looks away. Does no one here care that you are paying a service to do something that it doesn't?!?! Oh but they could get me in tomorrow. Perfect, now I get to try to find a babysitter AGAIN and drive another 20 min there are back. I am considering changing doctors JUST because of the office staff! How sad is that? read more
