I want everyone to stay far away from this clinic as possible. Doctors are O-K, receptionist should pick up a job at Mcdonalds or something.

OK, while I am on a yelping roll, I should share some info about this business too. Later I might…read morenot have as much time... You know... My small business will grow into a huge business, and so on. One day. I think I have many days to yelp yet, but the Hope never dies. Now... For those who has been following my reviews, here is the best part - there will be no ex bashing remarks in this one. Yep, I can do this too. Actually, this is going to be a very serious review. This particular location is remarkable because of it's vehicle modifications service, ran by a very remarkable person, Kevin. What we sometimes take for granted, means a world to some. For example, driving. Driving undoubtedly means freedom. What if this freedom is being taken away due to a physical disability as a result of an accident, injury, etc? What if the person is absolutely fit to drive on cognitive level, but their disability limits them from operating the vehicle safely? In this case, this is the best place to go to gain that freedom back! Widest variety of solutions to suit just about any case of moderate to severe limb damage! You should see how creative Kevin and his team are! Using only certified, approved and safety tested equipment, they put people back on the road and bring their freedom back! If you know someone who is looking to modify (or purchase a modified vehicle) their current vehicle, I'd suggest you share this information with them. There some funding programs available to help with the costs. How do I know about this business? I used to work for a company which purchased some safety equipment from them. Through working together, I saw the first hand how much passion Kevin puts into his work, how honest and client-oriented his business is. I still work with Kevin here and there, as my business is somewhat related to vehicle modifications. I feel it makes this review even more valuable, as I have seen him in action not just as his customer, but also as a fortunate enough person to share business with a great specialist he is. One last thing... Kevin is confined to a wheelchair himself. Enough said.

This was about as bittter-sweet an experience as I've ever had in the world of medical services…read more On the bright side (with a little prodding and a doctor's expression of urgency) I was able to get an appointment on about 4 days notice, and on a Sunday no less! Once I got inside, all the tests I had ordered were done within less than 10 minutes, and they had me on my way. This lab even has a walk-in service if you really can't wait for an appointment. The location is also very convenient, located just across the parking lot from Sunridge Mall (to the north, past the Petro Can) which makes it a quick and easy walk from the train. It really seems designed to be as available as possible. Now, the downsides. Problem is, there are many. You know on American sitcoms how they're always making jokes about the DMV? I've always told my American friends how we up here seem to have it good in that department, as I've never had to spend more than about a half hour in a vehicle registry office. If I were to pick the closest comparrison I've seen to this phenomenon, it was the Sunridge lab. My appointment was set for 3:00, and I planned for extra travel time so I arrived at about quarter after 2. Seeing as there was a seperate line-up for patients with appointments as opposed to walk-ins, and there was NOBODY in the appointment lines I was thinking "Great, maybe I'll get in early!" ...not a chance. In fact, for my 3:00 appointment, I was left waiting until almost 3:30, standing out in the waiting room because the place was so utterly packed with walk-ins, there was hardly even any standing room, let alone an actual seat. There were people with terrible body odour, crying babies, people coughing and sneezing up a storm... I got so fed up I ended up spending most of my wait outside just to keep from completely losing my mind. I also wouldn't suggest going down without an appointment unless you REALLY need your tests done that day. The upside is, as long as you arrive before closing time, you're guarenteed to be seen, but when I arrived at shortly after 2:00 on Sunday (which should, by all rights, be a slow day) walk-in patients arriving at the same time were being told they could be waiting up to 4 and a half hours. Yes, you read that right... the wait time for a 5-10 minute visit was up to 4 and a half hours.... on a SUNDAY. Four and a half hours surrounded by coughing, smelly, loud, cramped people. It seriously looked like a scene out of a disaster movie where they have the sick masses packed into a tiny quarentined building. All in all, it's great to have a lab that's easy to find, available on weekends, and able to book appointments fairly short-notice, but I think I'd almost rather wait and risk ending up in emergency than show up on a walk-in basis and have to spend any significant ammount of time in this DMV joke with sick people.
