They will trick you into a contract for 24 months and they say they are affordable at the beginning to suck you in and get their business but they aren't once you try to call to cancel your contract you will have to pay for 50% of the services not done and they will even admit that they are NOT the most cheap service of pest control around. The sales person will come at your door and if you are a softy like me you will get sucked in for their sob story about you are helping me and my wife and my new born thank you. Everything .. guy/kid who was to service our property didn't come in the 4 hr span 8-12. I called after 12pm & said to lady where the guy?? She looked said he was there at 9:20am I said no one came . then in afternoon kid blame his phone app from u guys.. then he said he sprayed around the house .. then I locked my self & pets in a room to spray inside.. my husband watched him spray squirts here & there . He left his equipment here all day . We put aside our trailer then he came yesterday & got it without us knowing , no knock .. the bugs were spider mites (u were supposed to get a pic from Frankie) they were still crawling everywhere throughout the day still couldn't cook with them hopping on things ... so my reg lawn people said they were coming yesterday (Wednesday )to fertilize lawns , he spray for us to be rid of them from fence line to house (infestation ) & inside too After he left they drop off house dead not waiting to walk in sprays pathway as Frankie said He did no eves wasp nests were everywhere so I emailed u several times as your phone voicemail was full & no phones calls picked up we aren't paying a penny for the service please reverse our payment back to us Thank u finally got to talk to Scott he credit back out payment to them read more

Trouble company to do busy with. Aggressive and tricky sales tactics. They sign you to length contacts and lie about it. Once my original contact was up I called to cancel and of course. They offered me a good deal for a limited time. I asked if it locked me into another time contact and they said NO. So when I called today to finally cancel they tell me Im under contract for the rest of the year. I told the Rep that is was I lie even though he said he can see it on his screen. I finally get to a Supervisor named Juan who tells me the same thing. So I said prove it. He went into an email sent to my wife extending the contract for another year, BUT IT WAS NEVER SIGNED BY HER.. So then like a time share presentation he keep trying to sell me. I finally said... I don't care if its free... Cancel my program now. Plus I asked why did the 1st Rep see in his system that I was still under contact for the year when in fact I was not..plus nothing was ever sign agreeing to it. Super pushy sales pitch. I told the representative at least 3 times I was happy with my current pest control provider. He would not drop the conversation and began to speak poorly of my choice. I had been patient with him to that point. Nearly 20 minutes of listening to a pitch that I tried to cut short to save the representative time and move to another house to make a sale. I did not appreciate how he talked to me or my wife. A final point, he mentioned how Saela had a "4.4 star review on Yelp." I don't even use Yelp except to look at restaurant reviews, but it took me 10 seconds to find the company and see it had a 1.3 star review. read more

From my experience, this is a very untrustworthy business. I got talked into switching my service from my previous pest control and the service was OK. But when I signed up, I told the sales rep that there was a chance we would be moving within a year and if that was a sufficient reason to get out of the 1-year contract. He checked and responded that it was, and even provided a text format to use if it did happen. So when we did end up moving, I called the main number and the person told me that moving does not allow me to void the contract (I was moving out of state so couldn't transfer it). Then I got a call from a manager, and I even provided the text chain from the sales guy, and they still charged me an early termination charge. Stay away from this one.. read more

Too expensive and too long of a contract. Wish I hadn't signed up. The workers have done their job but they're always trying to upsell you.

First, I had a great pest control company. I left them, because the person who serviced my property switched and while the new guy was fine, I didn't feel very much love or loyalty towards him. That was a Big MISTAKE, I was wrong! I switched to Saela and it has been a nightmare. At the time that I switched, I agreed verbally to a 12 month contract, having service every other month. I was told that their product was so much better, which is what sales people say, I didn't believe that. Well, fast forward to this past winter and we had our first mouse in our house. Okay, things happen fine. I took care of it myself because they were booked up and couldn't come out. STRIKE 1. Then, I called to cancel after my 12 months and they said that my plan is 18 months, so I can't do that yet. I asked to cancel anyway, but they are trying to charge me for 50% of the remaining 6 months fee. STRIKE 2. Fast forward to now, this month I have received 4 different text messages giving me a day that they will complete my service. They never showed up on any of those days. Then I get a text message on an unscheduled day, from the man actually doing the service, letting me know he would be at my home in a half hour. I have pets that can't be around the spray and that requires planning. I called the office, they said that it's a system error. I talked to the man doing the service and he told me that everything keeps shifting because they are understaffed because everyone is quitting. STRIKE 3. I can't wait to be done with this nonsense. There is nothing that they provide in their "regular" service that a less expensive provider doesn't already handle. read more

High pressure sales tactics and the sales guy lied about how my neighbor uses them and loves the service. The neighbor actually had many problems with the service. I told the sales guy no at least 5 times. Finally had to tell him to leave. If my 8 yo was not standing next to me, I would have told him a few more things. What a completely incompetent company with terrible management and worse contract. As said prior, by other reviewers, they alert you several days ahead of service asking how they can up-sell services for the visit. I've told them every time I was alerted NOT TO UP-SELL me on services. I tried to cancel my 9 visit agreement and was told to call back after my last visit next October. Today's up sell was mice infestation. I advised the technician Jon that my agreement included mice coverage in my garage and 1 additional room. He responded that I was not covered for mice. Since I sent him a copy of my agreement, he quickly pivoted and offered to start treatment for mice in 2 rooms. I am now disputing this issue and holding them in breach of contract. RUN, DON'T WALK AWAY! Beware of the slick salespeople riding the neighborhood on his Segway scooter, dropping neighbors names that are just made up people. I will never ever use this company. I will do my best to tell everybody that I know that they are absolutely the most inconsiderate pest company around. They're actually a pest, in my opinion. We put up a no soliciting sign specifically, so I didn't have to deal with people during the day when I'm working from home knocking on the door. Cody, their representative, mentioned that he read the sign, but he still wanted to let me know that there were wasps on my house. There is an old nest from last year that I knocked down that I haven't had the chance to remove completely. It shows you just how inconsiderate and unprofessional this company truly is. It clearly states no soliciting and Cody could care less as he knocked on the door anyway. I simply said what the sign say and closed the door. In the event that I needed pest control services, I'd ask one of my neighbors. I certainly wouldn't hire Saele for pest control. The representative asked to talk to my wife, and I explained that she was busy but if he gave me his business card she would call him. Every time someone came out to the house to take care of our rodent issue, we got a different story about what needed to be done and what works the best. they caught absolutely no mice. We did with our own traps. And they refused to cancel our contract without charging a fee. I tried to cancel the service when he called to treat us again and he informed me I had to go through customer service to cancel. I tried. This is the WORST customer service operation ever. Total telemarketing sales focused. Even though I told him not to trespass on my property he still came over and sprayed and the company billed us. We signed up for a 2 year contract - the first year - they were ok. This year, not so much. The last treatment a couple weeks ago didn't seem to take. Have been trying to get a hold of them for three days. No one answers the phones - left on hold forever. Trying to send an email - it just always says "Please wait while we send..." Ugh. Guy offered additional services last time they were out to put mesh/caulk at base of garage door entrances to keep out mice. We paid $100. As he's applying the caulk, he's wiping the side of the painted area. I ask if the caulk is paintable for future paint jobs, he doesn't know - "Oh, no it's not, he says." Ugh. Don't use them - we are writing a snail mail letter today to cancel them. read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY. They have terrible customer service - they're impossible to get a hold of once they have your money and a signed contract (to which they require a 1-year contract which is ridiculous, especially if you're renting a house. My husband and I were renting and we moved out - so we asked them to pause our service until we moved into our new place where they could continue the service. They paused the service and then reactivated it and went back and serviced the house we MOVED OUT OF (and charged us of course). What the sales person said was not what they have provided. Don't believe them!!!!! We have 5 adults in the house the heard the same thing. I was using the pest control service from this company. It worked great so I wanted to try the mosquito service. DO NOT try it! They lock you in with a contract. They guarantee to get rid of the mosquitos and will reservice your house but won't get rid of them. They failed to notify me that I started late in the season.... Just to lock me into a contract.
