They got him for Lola, the black porcupine, but she won't mate with him because she sees his white color as weak. Albino porcupines are mostly blind, so she keeps rejecting him because she wants strong offspring. Poor Albert!!! I hope he finds love soon.

You can tell the animals are well cared for and loved. I also appreciated that the staff took their safety policies seriously. There was a young boy in our group who was not old enough for one of the experiences, and even though the parents weren't thrilled, the staff still followed their rules and did not allow him to participate. I respect them for prioritizing the safety of both the child and the animals. Such a fun and memorable experience overall!

We went for their goat yoga class and we were pleasantly surprised by a tour of the farm & getting to meet & feed some of the other animals. Manish told us all about all the animals & the farm's sustainable energy and made sure we were enjoying the pre-class tour with lots of jokes. We got to carry the goats from their pen to the yoga area and it was such a cool experience. The class was great -- a good workout with lots of entertainment from jumping baby goats. Our instructor told us about the symbolism of having a goat place all 4 hooves on your back being a gateway to releasing any tension or negativity. Even with a class of about 15 people, they made sure to give all of us plenty of opportunities for the goats to get onto our backs. Those of us who are usually a little nervous around excited animals even felt comfortable enough to play with the adorable baby goats and we were all sad to leave them. If you're looking for a calming, nature focused experience, I would definitely recommend visiting 24 Karat Ranch! It's run by such sweet people and the baby goats are adorable. They have goats, plenty of birds, llamas, pigs, and horses. I wouldn't call it a true petting zoo because most of the petting is done through a gate. If you want a horse ride, you have to ask. No one offers or tells you about it.
