Ive lived on or near the lake for 40 years and aqualand has been a staple marina for the flowery branch side of the lake for years. With the docks expanding around the point and into 2 new coves, lots of space, gas, store and of course my fav- Pigtails restaurant. I have friends in Forsyth co that we always meet here lately as they can shoot over from 2 mile creek in 10 min and be at the marina to pick me up and we spend the day on the lake. Some damage here due to the tornado but work continues to get this back to normal as some lost a good deal and there was significant dock damage in one area. Very rare but still offers dry dock and plenty of on site parking of your boat for storage. The complete lake experience. An icon that will always be here. read more

Had such a blast at Aqualand on a recent Saturday. This marina on Lake Lanier is only a 40 minute drive from the city. Parking is free with a reservation with a boat charter(they had our name at the gate) or just $5 for the day. There is a gift shop and restaurant(with water and water bowls for thirsty pups) as well. The restaurant gets busy in the early evening so may want to check if you can make a reservation. The docks were well maintained and easy to bring our coolers down to the boat. Staff were very helpful. read more

Not the experience I was expecting. I went to try and lease a slip for our boat. The 3 stars are solely for the amazing staff I encountered. The Marina itself is a hot @ss mess! Seriously! The docks are old, worn and nails sticking up. The road driving into the Marina even had severe pot holes. In their defense maybe the pot holes came from the construction work going on inside the Marina. It appears that they may be doing some upgrades, but not fast enough. read more

Probably the best view on the lake and PigTales is a nice place to get lunch/dinner and drinks. However the docks are the absolute worst on the lake to try to dock since there's no breakwater and the docks are a disaster. Even with fenders the docks beat the crap out of your boat. It's simply not worth the visit most days if the lake has any churn whatsoever. read more

We have been loving our time at AquaLand! It is such a beautiful property and fun driving on site. The views from our dock are spectacular, the best on the lake! It is so convenient having a great restaurant,PigTails, right there to grab a quick bite to eat on your boat. The staff has been very helpful and quick to respond to any issues. This was a comfortable and friendly place, but it was recently sold. The new management seems to have a goal to become the Walmart marina of the lake. If you don't like what we do go somewhere else. That's just what a lot of us are planning to do. read more

It's HUGE!!! Our dock has some wear and tear but the location is awesome ! The Restraunt is great and the staff is incredibly helpful! The local city makes stocking up food and drinks before going out on Lanier super easy! And there always a beach in the marina for the 2 Goldens to swim at!!! read more

First time at Lake Lanier, this was a really nice and relaxing day with the co-workers. Glad this was suggested. It was not the normal work outing and I feel I would do it all over again. We decided instead of bringing food onto the boat it would be better to dine at one of the restaurants, we chose Aqualand. This is cute because you tied your boat or jet ski to the pier and walk along the pier to the restaurant (very convenient). I am not sure what our waitresses name was but she was super nice. She gave her favorite choices of drink selections and I do believe my co-workers actually tried every drink suggested. I think the common drink was the Voodoo Juice. We ordered several appetizers...one being Alligator (quite interesting experience). Would I order it again...more than likely not. My dish of choice was the Grouper Sandwich. It was delish but definitely too much bread. I ended up just taking the fish out and eating that with BBQ sauce (hey, I am weird). It was good though. read more

Nice people in the office but their docks are falling apart. Ripped up covers that cover the side of the slips. Nails sticking up all over the place and even nails that are a U shape and have the pointy end showing. read more

Aqualand is a great full service marina with friendly staff and management. We've had a covered slip on one of the newer docks since last summer. The prices are in line with other marina on the south end of the lake and I would compare Aqualand's amenities to any other's on the lake. If you have a boat and want to enjoy the livelihood of the Lake life. I would highly recommend Aqualand marina. read more

Absolutely the worst Marina on the lake. The docks are old and falling apart. The repairs and updates they are doing are subpar. The absolute worst customer service. I have ever experienced. They do not value their customers. It's all about the money for them. Stay far away from this marina. read more

iv keep my boat here for a few years now. the new docks are nice and i do like it here but; they have went up on priceing by a good bit. also you get two passes when you keep your boat here, but you could alwasys buy extra for family or if you have multiple vehicles. i bought my boat for me and my family which are verey important to me.!! jeff the manager i spoke to about extra passes for my family who i bought this boat for said they are not members.!! which is so untrue because my boat wouldn't be here if it wasn't for my family who i love very much. he want 20$$ per extra pass when it was 5$$. he said they are trying to keep traffic down !!?? this makes no sense because anyone and everyone can get into aqualand, all they have to do is say they going to eat at pig tails which is the restaurant here.!! so not only does he make no sense, aqualand has just raised all thir prices!!!! thir are plenty of other places just as nice that are cheeper and willing to work with thir loyal clints. shame on jeff the manager at aqualand..!!! read more

If you value your safety or your property, avoid this marina. They are severely negligent in their maintenance to the point it has caused a severe injury to my wife. I cannot stress enough to avoid this marina. read more

Very nice marina and very good BBQ restaurant attached to it, so you can pull in on the dock and then go grab a bite at the restaurant. They have live music on the weekends also which is nice. read more

This is a huge marina. It is the largest inland marina in the world. Normally you would think that this would mean crowds and chaos. However the marina is designed in a way that the docks are spread out and somewhat secluded from others. This keeps things quiet and pleasant. There is a ship store and restaurant/bar for entertaining on shore. They have regular parties and are quick to make updates (like rotting dock boards). We've had our sailboat here for 4 years and haven't regretted a day. As a full service marina, they don't really lack for anything. read more

We went to an 'End of Summer' party here Saturday night with our friends that have a boat there. It was so much fun!! They had free beer and wine and also free food from Pig Tales. The beer was cold and the food was great! They also had a live band called Fly Betty that was super! Such a fun time! Thanks Aqualand, you throw a great party!! read more

Adminsitration can never get it right. They don't retrun phone calls, you have to perch yourself in their office to get anything done. Trying to get your deposit refunded in a timely manner? FORGET IT. Still trying to get them to uphold their end of the contract and get my deposit back. When I called on a Monday morning at 8:20 I was told "I haven't clocked in yet and will have to call you back" - I don't call that good customer service. Look elsewhere for a marina that serves it customers. read more
