I have been to other counselors and this was by far the worst group of counselors, I actually felt that they were dangerous for vulnerable people that really need help because they were so unprofessional and incompetent. The counselor at Bowie Youth & Family Services made my post traumatic stress so much worse. What did I learn from Bowie Youth & Family Services? That I will never waste my time counseling again, and won't recommend them to anybody.

Your receptionist did indeed take my credit card information and though I called back on three different occasions, I never heard back from you all which is why I came onto Yelp.com and wrote a review. In the future, I hope it won't take a negative review on a public forum for you all to get back to a customer. The meditation was helpful as I still implement it into my everyday life outside of therapy season. It helps me calm down and relax. She is personable, has empathy, and professional. I contacted the office to make an appointment. The phone was answered by the counselor herself. She advised that she would have her assistant call back for scheduling, I received no such call. A week or so later, I tried again. This time, I didn't bother after the assistant didn't call back. This may mean she's great and over-booked, or it could mean she has horrible admin skills. Either way, I'll never know...
