She asks all the right questions and actually listens and reflects on not only what the parents have to say but especially what the child has to say. It is a hard decision to medicate a child, and Dr. Fuertes takes parents' concerns very seriously. But the reality is a low dose of a medication can go a long way in helping alleviate the symptoms of a child and greatly improve their lives and those around them. The new owners are in trouble; they have zero regard for the people who use their services and their doctors. They have no time or respect for patients who call or visit their office for help. This is a condition where the tissue tissue under your tongue connects it to the bottom of your mouth and when you have too much of this tissue it creates tension in the mouth and body, posture, grinding and affects your airway. Before having this minor procedure, you must first go through Orofacial Myology which is a process of tongue strengthening via certain exercises over a period of 12 weeks. Second, when I try to login to the patient portal on my computer, there is an option to login with email only and they will send a code, but when I tried to login this way they did not send me an email--at all--with my code, making me unable to login. My psychiatrist, Madison, tried calling me, but it was on the line I was already on, so I was unable to call her back, and had to wait for her to ring me again. I have it noted in my portal where I want my medicine to go to, told Madison where, and confirmed with her when she read the address back to me, AND THEY STILL sent my medicine to the wrong address. This has happened numerous times before, which is incredibly frustrating especially because I am taking this medicine for my anxiety, which only skyrockets when dealing with this constant miscommunication. My anxiety is at an all-time high whenever I have to deal with this establishment, and I genuinely do not understand how they instill a fight or flight response in me every time I have to communicate with them.
