This place was awesome! HUGE! I could definitely get lost in there! It was well stocked and I was able to find some treasures to take home with me. My husband and I spent a couple of hours browsing and met a few people while we were there. I was on the hunt for a specific vintage Avon perfume bottle. I didn't find the exact one I was looking for, but I did find many other unique vintage Avon bottles. We heard the staff making phone calls to the people who are selling things in the booths. Both phone calls we overheard was an offer on an item in a booth. Both offers were accepted and my husband and I cheered! While the booths were many and a lot of great finds as far as selection, the prices were hit and miss. We will say, we doubt our return trip. While wandering we were insulted by the owner at several different booths. She took something out of my mom's hands in order to "show her" but it was overly rough. At some point we asked to look in a cabinet and she was rude about having to walk to it. She claimed to be joking but her tone, face and demeanor didn't not match "a joke". read more

I don't know why this place is rated so badly. I remember going here since I was a child! There's so much to look at, but be careful not to knock anything off! There's items- EVERYWHERE! You can't simply take your time and look at everything or you'd be here all day! The only downside is, the prices are a little bit steeper compared to other antique malls and indoor flea markets in the area, but of course that varies by vendor and who is renting the stalls out. It's still a super cool place to check out and see all kinds of unique items. The ladies running the business are super sweet. I don't know if they are the owners, but they were so nice to talk to! Very friendly and helpful. We got too tired after exploring half of the place, so we will have to come back another day to see the other half! read more

I love this place everyone is SUPER friendly, lovely accommodating staff. My only complaint is AARON in booth 15 , my god i have never been so disrespected by somebody IN MY LIFE. My poor friend dropped something of his, and he brought the price down $5 , i thought well maybe we can get more off due to the arm already being broken and i thought id ask him, i was not being disrespectful at all and suddenly this 50 year old man child starts going off on me and yelling at me accusing me of lying and not dropping it, being absolutely so immature i was so sure this CHILD was on his period. He just continued to yell at me and be extremely disrespectful id also like to add i am 20 , and he could be my dad and i am a girl i dont know who told him it was okay to yell at young girls the way he did. I will never be looking at booth 15 again he was so mean. I would like to commend the staff for making it up to my friend by paying for all of her stuff absolutely love them for that! I would never step foot in this place. They have glass cups on edges of show counter with coats beside so when you walk by and hit the coat it's knocks the cups down. Then the lady running the booth was a complete asshole. Even after I offered to pay for the cup that her stuff knocked off. This was first and last time ever stepping foot in here. I recommend going to Asheville the antique tobacco barn. It has way better stuff for half the price and way better staff environment. read more

Definitely a great place to go to I see that it has a few negative reviews so I search for the reason of why so many and it's very simple the owner and the people that run the store do not allow bumbs To hang out in front of the store and use the bathrooms and be a nuisance to customers unfortunately those bumbs have telephones that they can leave negative reviews so please don't let those few reviews keep you from going to such a great antique mall personally I really appreciate them keeping it safe for me to go in there and not have to worry about people asking for money on my way out I found many good deals for my Collections definitely a place worth going out of the way to go to read more

This place has everything. Some antique malls can be over priced and this one has a great selection and some really good deals. You could spend hours wandering around and still not see everything. I would very rarely, and I mean *very rarely* take time out of my day to write a review with one star- but this business deserves to know what just happened. My boyfriend and I LOVE antiques, so we saw this place and immediately stopped after having lunch in Downtown. As we walked in, the woman behind the counter didn't greet us or say welcome, but instead commented my purse was 'too big' to be permitted inside. I was taken a back a little because it's a totally normal sized black leather purse. I kind of shrugged casually, smiled and immediately took the bag and handed it over, thinking that was a little weird, but would be happy for her to hold it. Noting other vintage stores usually happily hold purses behind the counter if they have a one-off policy like this. She pulled back like I was offering her drugs (lol) and said that wasn't allowed either. It was weird because it was like she thought I was going to steal them blind or something?! I have never seen a business be so silly considering I most certainly would have bought something there, hands down. After that I immediately shared that this was outrageous and turned back to our car. Customer service 0%, as a local small business owner, this was completely out of left field. I came stopped by here after work because I wanted to show my mom something I had seen the previous day. We arrived at 5:30 and were met at the door by the owner, who very brusquely told us that they closed at 6. I smiled and said, "I know, we will be out before then I just wanted to show my mom something." Fast forward 10 minutes and he started turning the lights off on us! At 5:44, by my phone, he came and asked me if we were leaving! I said, "But my phone says it is 15 till?" He said well your clock must be slow, you need to leave. I was flabbergasted!!! I replied that I don't believe so since phones run off of the atomic clock. He just scoffed and repeated that we need to leave. Mom asked him if she could go ahead and buy the knick-knack she had picked out and I said no, I don't believe he wants to sell us anything, to just put it down. She asked the guy if he wanted her to put it back in the booth she got it from and he told her to just set down where she was, that we needed to "just stop being assholes and leave". So we did. As we left, he made a snide remark about "just don't shoot him" because mom said she would post a negative review on Facebook and whatever other sites she could find . What the heck?? We stopped in the parking lot to call a friend who we thought had a booth in there and to write this review. He came out and said he felt bad about making us leave, that he would reopen the store if we would like. I politely declined stating that I didn't believe we would be purchasing anything from him. He said he was sorry that we felt that way, but that he would open it back up. I assured him there was no point as we would not be purchasing anything from his store. I have never personally witnessed such horrible customer service. I have worked in retail for 5 years, so I understand it being irritating when people come in last minute, but to call people assholes because they question you kicking them out 15 minutes early??? Fell yesterday in a hole covered up by carpet in a main aisle of the store. Man behind the counter admitted he knew about the hole and admitted he needed to fix it. He also admitted that he knew I had fallen. He didn't come and see if I was ok, he didn't apologize for his negligence, but he offered insults after I asked for his card in the event I had to go to the doctor. I busted my nose, knees, and I am cut and bruised all over. Most of these injuries were visible when he told me, "Well, you are overweight". Overweight people walk upright just like anyone else unless they step in a hole. I had shopped in at least 8 antique stores in the last 48 hours prior to his store. Managed to walk upright and buy several items at those locations. Based on my experience with the attitude of the management personnel, not to mention the condition of the building, I would stay away from this establishment. read more

My first and only visit here was a nightmare. My daughter and I met there at 5:30. That was the earliest we could manage due to her office job. We knew the store closed at 6 because we looked it up online, and as we have both worked retail we are conscientious of leaving at closing time. Jim Gant, the owner, told us he was closing at 6 and we said we would be out. My daughter just wanted to get my opinion on some things she intended to buy. I found a few teapots, cups, and other things I was going to purchase. However, Jim Gant turned the lights out on us at about 5:40. At 5:45 I was told he wanted us to leave. I responded by asking if I could make my purchase, and the owner told me no. I asked should I put it back in the booths it belonged in, and he said just put it down where I was. So I apologize to the booth holders whose stuff in out of place. The owner, Jim Gant, then told us to "Quit being assholes and just get out." I set my stuff down, confirmed his name, and told him I would be posting reviews . His response: "Just don't shoot me." I guess he is unaware of the research that shows that 68% to 72% of customers don't come back due to poor service. If a business advertises that it closes at 6, it should close at 6. And I wonder if the owner would have cussed us if Our men had been with us. read more
