As a retired disability advocate and executive I caution consumers and their families to not generalized- every agency can only be as good as their staff- some are fabulous others not so good. Keep in mind that in the Medicaid program these front-line workers are underpaid often making less than fast food workers while putting their health in jeopardy- not only vivid but bad backs from lifting their consumers. If you want better care join them in demanding fair pay from the state government.

Aides spoke about being able to leave early and clients clocking them out. The coordinator Alex, when I complained the aid left the kitchen gate open, aid lied about the water and ice tea belonging to him, giving my dad food that burned his mouth. Alex comment was my aids are not responsible for giving ur dad food that will not burn him and aids are it to lock the gate preventing dad from eating the wrong food or turning in the gas.
