Scares buyers - stay away! First he has Pictures of another home on my report claiming rodent infestation. Then he lacks the skillset to operate an induction cooktop, so he calls it broken. , He damages wall looking at outlets behind articulating arm mounted tv. he misaligns almost 20 windows by slamming them up and down messing with the old balancers then calls them broken. He opens and doesnt close completely laundry room lines then calls them leaky. states windows have failed thermal implying all of them are bad when only 4 - there is too much more to write, says hot/cold lines are reversed when he lacks skillset to operate them, turns all the water on upstairs-even two tubs, then says water flow downstairs is low. - see other low review, not the first time he has left valves open, causing owners potential water damage. read more

My realtor hired this company to conduct my home inspection. The Seller wasn't even completely out of the home and it and shouldn't of been done at all. I received an inconclusive report since all of her shi* was still in the house and due to covid and her stuff being in the way he couldn't fully inspect certain areas or move her trash, blah blah blah. If you couldn't do a complete inspection I shouldn't of been charged the full price or it should have been rescheduled once this was determined. When I reached out to him advising some outlets weren't working he responded well they were at the time. This is some really shadiness and not good business at all. Definitely won't be using this company for inspections or the realtor. read more

Blake is a TOTAL SCAM!!!! Run to any other company. He refused flat out to close and reopen the shut- off valves under the sinks of a 30 year old condo. He said "to do so would be unethical". Really Blake? You don't think it is going to be a problem if those valves don't work and the new home owner has to change a faucet or shut off a water leak or running toilet? Shame on you. Blake - you are a liar! Blake - your service is worthless. Shame on you. BTW SafeHome charged $300. The service I wanted to use was $245 - but Kelly Williams Realty of Elk Grove insisted I use him. I would RUN AWAY from Kelly Williams Realty in Elk Grove as well. I feel ripped off by both. Blake you are a scam artist and TOTALLY WORTHLESS! read more

if I could give zero stars I would! !!!! this home inspection report I got was a lot of bogus stuff on there according to following up with things... although I feel like Blake should've focused on things like intruding water basements things that really mattered rather than focusing on nitpicking stuff that really didn't matter !! I am having intruding water ,although sellers did not disclose ! but still this could've been noticed out the gate ,with my safe home inspection ! that's what spec inspections are for . I am suffering ,and have to take other avenues ..... to get Resolution for things that weren't noticed upon my inspection ! to say the least it's been a nightmare!! I'm in the process of purchasing a home. Blake Bishop did two house inspections for me ordered by my realtor. Both times he was in a hurry. On the second inspection he showed up late and again was in a hurry to leave. He said he was unable to inspect the garage, because of too many of the sellers belongings in the garage. The seller said he had moved items away from walls so they were mostly clear. In front of a group of us, he said he would come back at no charge as long as it was before escrow closes, to finish the inspection. Also on the inspection paperwork he said the garage needed to be reinspected. I emailed him to schedule inspection for a time when items would be cleared out. He spoke with my realtor and told her it didn't need to be inspected and I could do it myself and contact him with any issues! Seriously. When I again requested him to honor his word, he said he would come back and charge the sellers 150$. When it comes to a home inspection, you want someone thorough, honest and competent. This was not my experience. Blake was knowledgeable, but I feel he took advantage of me as a customer. I did not get the inspection I paid for. Blake did the garage inspection today at no cost. read more
