originally had done a mobile appointment but changed it to in-house for an earlier on-prem slot that became available. arrived there at 7am and got attended right away. everyone was nice and friendly and professional. parking lot is ample and clean. waiting room was clean and quiet and had a pleasant scent. the single unisex bathroom was clean and tidy. the jeep needed full windshield replacement. technician jason was able to remove everything that was attached to the windshield without damage. he ended having to do the ADAS recalibration twice just to make sure it was done to factory specifications and test drove several times to fine tune everything. be sure to contact your insurance company to help facilitate the process and see if your insurance covers this repair/replacement. overall it was a great experience and got us back on the road safely in a couple hours. thank you safelite! read more

Worst service ever they installed a windshield in our 2026 Hyundai. The car was barely driven when we noticed a Crack from the base of the windshield. We called to have it replaced. Weeks later they come out and the young man basically inspect the Crack with his phone and determined that they would not cover it! We explained to him nothing hot the windshield that it wasn't even being driven when this happened. But he stated they would not cover it. We requested a manager to call us that was the Saturday before father's day. As of today one week later NO ONE has called us back and the windshield is still not fixed. I specifically told them I would not allow another claim on my insurance for a product that was damaged from their installation. He told me a manager would call me and they would have me bring it down to the shop to discuss.... IT NEVER HAPPENED! I am completely disappointed that they didn't inspect it when it happened so his claim can not even be verified and now they refuse to make the mistake correct. read more

Had a windshield claim with my insurance company and they scheduled an appointment for me with Safelite. I have no idea why they would use or schedule with this company because I will never us them again or refer them to anyone that I know. The technician was very nice but tore both of our hood cowls during the removal process. When I scheduled an appointment for a Warranty Inspection I was told that "clearly rodents chewed on the hood cowls". Unless the technician brought his pet rat to work that day, rodents did not chew up the hood cowls. The damage happened during the 2 hour replacement appointment. Perhaps it was the Oscillating tool that he used on both sides of the vehicle when the hood was up. My home camera footage would certainly suggest so. Now they have to confer with the Manager, who was conveniently not there during my Warranty Inspection. They said they will get back to me......I'll hold my breath. read more

Unfortunately this is the second time I have used satellite and both experiences were subpar at best. The first time the tech left greasy hand prints on the inside of my car without cleaning up also he left out 2 clips on the inside grill that he removed to access the windshield. the second and most recent time I asked if I could just pay the difference between the aftermarket glass and OEM glass I was quoted a price difference of $547. After I agreed to just use the after market glass I looked up the price of a OEM windshield and found out that it is $547. Also I was told by an employee that aftermarket and OEM are exactly the same which is a lie. The OEM glass is made to stricter standards. I researched this also. When I went to pick up my car the dash cam was just left in the cup holder and I was told that I had to wait 5 days to put it up. there is no reason to wait to secure a dash can=m to new glass they were just to lazy to do it. when I pointed out that they left out to fasteners on the plastic grill removed for access I was told that they were previously missing. I could see the fresh marks that they were just removed and not been missing for a long time. When I confronted the rep from satellite about this he called me a liar and that he believed his tech over me even though I pointed out that they were just recently removed. We 'thought' we had a leak around the windshield that another location had installed a little while back. I pulled the ol' Mustang into our local Brooksville Safelite shop for them to check it out. Once in the office I was cheerfully greeted by Danny, I think he's one of the managers there. After a quick description of our problem, he readily offered to have a look at the car. Several other Safelite guys followed us out. Jose was one of those guys. He asked if I'd pop the hood open, which I did. He IMMEDIATELY knew what the problem was! He reached into the engine bay and pulled out a rubber plug on the firewall and about 2 gallons of water came gushing out onto the pavement! He did the same on the driver's side. Having a look at these plugs it became apparent they are actually one-way valves, designed to let the water out but not in. They were completely plugged up with bits of leaves and dirt. With a simple clean-out Jose stuck the plugs back into place. Guess what? On the way home I ran through a huge rainy downpour and NO MORE LEAKS! Jose saved the day, the car's carpet and a whole lot of potential frustration. I hope I never need them but IF I do I know 'Who You Gonna Call?' Safelite! Brooksville! Danny & Jose! read more

Brittany (think that was her name, fair skin, dark hair) was about as rude and unhelpful as humanly possible. I scheduled my appointment as self-pay instead of fleet insurance. I'd never used the ins before and wasn't quite sure how it worked, or how to enter it to save my appointment time. She refused to help schedule the appointment, change the method of payment, and was very rude to my insurance rep when he called to try and straighten things out. Drove an hour round trip, and still didn't get my window chip fixed. She was determined to be impossible to work with and went above and beyond to accomplish her goal. I took my car to this shop once before and they did a great repair on the windshield. So when I had a small "bubble" in the windshield of another car I took it there. The service tech, Matt, took a look at the windshield and then went back into the shop and came back with some window cleaner and a razor blade. Brake checked one of my family member today Aug 31,2021 early morning around 6:40am-7:20am on the fast lane on the left going 73 down to 60. Causing the car to ran off the road. After flashing my family member's headlight because your safelite driver is going slow on the fast lane. Instead of transferring to the slower lane he/she does this? I have a broken Windshield. I've been trying to get someone to come out to my house and fix my windshield. I was at home waiting from 8a to 12p; I thought, maybe wait another 10 minutes. Neither one-of-them called nor did they/he showed up. Spoke to a gal, whom answered the phone, about adding on my unit number. Boy! My insurance company sent me here to have a new windshield installed and I called to find out if they could calibrate the windshield and they said yes. I drove up from Land O' Lakes and asked again if they could calibrate the windshield. They replaced the glass and then informed me that No they could not calibrate the windshield and I should then take it to Tampa. I inquired why I could not have taken it to the shop in Tampa in the first place. So I made an appointment for calibration in Tampa and they allegedly calibrated and when I noticed that steering was off, I took it to the dealership and found out that it had not been calibrated. These people are dishonest, disorganized and my insurance company should not be using them. Guess they are bargain basement but don't do what they say they can do. read more

Safelite is awesome! I called yesterday since a crack in my windshield came back (they repaired it back in May). Since the repair didn't work, they were going to replace the windshield this time. They had availability the same day if I wanted to go into the shop, but opted to have them come to me. They were able to fit me in the next day! The technician from Brooksville, Len, was courteous and understanding as I was running a few minutes late. He was able to get all of my stickers/decals off and onto the new windshield. Had to get windshield replaced by safelite through my insurance, the tech came out and replaced glass , left my 06 HUMMER H3 in need of side trim on either side of windshield. Took pictures after the fact and the moldings don't even sit on the window, called the office back immediately , the supervisor said the moldings were broken before the job was done , My insurance company told me these moldings are covered. Safelite warranty dept keeps making appts for the shop to come and look and fix issue but the shop keeps canceling.....the shop keeps giving me the run around on how the moldings were broken before the glass was replaced....oh and to make matters worse I have pictures to show how after the fact , there were glass chards and rubber blowing out of my top vents but I did not mention that to them.I want it made right....just replace my moldings ...... read more

What a hassle. No follow through, poor service and poor installation. My wife's windshield got a crack in it. No biggie, right? That was May 9th. The car was new, so they didn't have the glass and it had to be ordered. That's reasonable. But it took weeks to get it in and the only got it because my wife called around and found a dealer with it for them because it was taking so long. But, since the car was new, they couldn't come out to her. She had to bring the car in. 40 minute drive one way on her day off....and the replacement windshield is broken. They said someone moved it and put it where it shouldn't have been. Wasted trip. They ordered another one. More weeks go buy. They fix it! (again on her day off, 40 minute drive). But on the way home the plastic trim pieces that surround the windshield comes unattached and falls off. I take the car back on my day off.(40 minutes each way) They reattach it with some kind of gooey calk since they broke the clips intended to keep it in place. Then they order the replacement parts...the good news is they have the parts (July 12th) The bad news is, they are booked up for three weeks until they can send someone out. I guess I will be driving back again on my day off. Not their fault they had to order parts, but follow through and find the part yourself, don't break my hard to find windshield when it comes in, don't break the clips when you install the trim, and fit me in when it comes to the fourth time around. Just want to state what great customer service I had when I went in to get my windshield replaced. After calling my insurance company the service man helped me get the correct windshield and I was scheduled immediately for the next morning. The next morning got a call for Chris the service tech that was coming to my house to replace my windshield and when he got to my house, he was very professional, courteous and explained the procedure to me and then when the work was completed he went over the do's & dont's. I had a horrible experience with K at the Safelite Brooksville, FL location. K is lazy and unprofessional. K was scheduled to install my front windshield between 12p - 5p on 24 Dec 19. K initially called and texted me at 252p. K said he would be at my home at 500p to install the window. Next, I texted K asking how long it would take and K said 1 hour and 45 minutes but it could take longer to install in a garage so it was my call. I told K that was fine and I would see him shortly. Then K called me back at 421p stating that my insurance company ordered the wrong windshield and he could not do the install. I questioned this because I waited 4 1/2 hours for Safelite to complete this installation and all K did was give me excuse after excuse. K wanted to go home for Christmas. That was fine but maybe K and Safelite should not have scheduled a windshield replacement on Christmas Eve at 5p. Nevertheless, I asked K for his supervisor's number and K did not want to give it to me. I questioned why K was given me an attitude and K hung up on me. Finally, K decided to text me a phone number. I made a appointment to get my window fixed at Safelight . As I drove to my appointment which was 25 miles I checked in and I sat there for another 20 minutes. Then a person said the window that we ordered has a crack in it and we have to reschedule for another day. The gentleman says we're sorry this happens all the time. So I rescheduled and they said oh we can come out to your house to install the window. Then I said the app said I could not have anyone come out to my house. But if your going to install a window that day maybe they should inspect the window and notify the customer about a cracked window before they have to drive 25 miles to get there or at least look into the app and correct some issues they are having. But Safelight showed up on time at my house an installed my window. The Gentleman who did the install was very good and very courteous. Maybe he should be the one running the show back at the shop.
