Got a coupon from George's for an oil change, and took my wife's car in this morning. The coupon indicated a free tire rotation was included. Per their "all vehicle inspection", I needed two new front tires, an alignment, and an air filter. The front tires had some wear on the center tread, probably due to the hot weather causing over inflation. The wear pattern was even across the tire, not indicating an alignment problem. Just normal wear for 30,000 miles. I declined new tires and alignment, but asked them to do the tire rotation. When the car was "done" and driven around front, I noticed two things: 1) the air filter was lying on top of the engine. It was never replaced in its holder. 2) the tires were NOT rotated as promised in their coupon, and as I had asked. I was told that rotating them "would do no good". As soon as the engine cools down, I'll be checking the car over myself to make sure nothing else has been left undone. Not a good experience! I'll be looking for a new shop. read more

I went here for an oil change, and without my permission, they checked the rest of the car over for what they claim was a safety inspection. They told me that all 4 of my shocks and struts needed to be replaced immediately due to leakage. I declined at that time to have the work performed. I took it to 2 other mechanics who put it on a lift, did and inspection and found NOTHING wrong with the shocks and struts. Beware of taking your car to Georges as they evidently go out of their way to find something to get into your pocket for. I do not recommend this business. read more

Brand new set of Continental tires were defective. Jonathan went above and beyond - replaced them under warranty twice! Still NG. The third time was the charm with a set of Michelins. I don't think most places would work that hard to make a customer happy. I will be sending all my friends and relatives there for tires. This place practices the ancient art of giving a damn. Not only did they waste my morning, they also didn't make a sale today. Please to anyone reading this. Do not go to this business. Just a shout out to George's Wholesale Tires in Spring Hill Florida located on Suzanne Ave. Today I had to put a new tire on my car. I made an appointment at George's for 8:00 a.m. this morning. I got there at 8:00 a.m., and within a few minutes they had taken my car and started working on it. I was out of there by 9:02 a.m.! The staff was very helpful, prompt, and on task! I had a great experience here. I went to Walmart to have my tires rotated and they would not do it so I looked on Google and found George's Wholesale Tires. Friendly staff and mechanics. Alan in the office was very friendly and we chatted quite a bit and he has an uncanny resemblance to Russell Rhoades on Fox 13 in Tampa. I even told Alan he did. They did a quick and efficient job and I will be back there the next time I need help with my car. They're very reasonable as well. I don't know about the only other review I saw for George's but it was completely opposite from what I experienced here. read more

Great service! They ate professional and actually do the job instead of trying to scam you because you're a woman. They are one of the rare places to go to get real business. Nice, professional and do what they say they will. Seriously you have to watch these car fix it places. Top line near the Chevrolet Dealer actually stole 2 new tires off my car when I walked over to look at the Corvettes and told me my tires were bald. I just bought them. Don't trust this business with your vehicle. Twice now this shop has screwed up simple repairs. The first was on my Saturn, which I told them was going to be making a trip across the country. "Replaced" my bearings, and had to make a stop at a shop in South Carolina to get told I had faulty parts put on my vehicle and basically paid Georges to screw up my vehicle even more. 2nd experience was when I brought my RV in the shop, they said they had to keep it for two days, just to do an oil change and replace the tires. They didn't even put one of my hub caps on and some of the bolts, they just left it all sitting in my passenger seat. Also, they broke the seal on the tire and put none of my caps back on the tires so ALL of the air leaked out of my back right tire. Also told them this vehicle was making a trip to Alaska so it is completely unacceptable that you didn't make %100 sure that this vehicle was cross country ready, your shop is a joke read more

Had my son take his car for oil change and to check tire pressure light staying on. $125 and 4 hours later they sent him home without any oil in the car. Check engine light came on and had to be towed back. They said it was "fuel injector line came detached", not knowing that my son and his neighbor checked the oil stick whike waiting on tow truck and it was bone dry. Won't be using their services any more. read more
