There was stains and spills that soap and water was not getting out. They did a fantastic job and I will definitely go back once a year. My only issue was drop off. They told me they had drop off available so I came before class. However, they meant they'll drop you off on your car. I didn't feel comfortable with that. One guy explained that he hadn't called, because he didn't have a piece of glass big enough. "I sure wish you had answered the phone before I drove over here," I commented (as the phone rang unanswered). "Oh yeah - I'm not sure where the secretary is" was his comment. I drove to the "right" competitor to "do it" in Murphysboro, and they cut the glass on the spot for about 2/3rds the price I was promised by the "Glass Doctor of Carterville." I won't call this place again.

Then they showed up and got the measurements, and I didn't hear from them again for another month. So I miss a call from the guy, immediately call him back, and he quotes me an outrageous price. I push back on it and let him know that I'm already unhappy with the lack of communication and he tells me that he's "not arguing with me." Well that really sent me over the edge because I wasn't arguing at that point, but I sure was after that. I went to Marion Glass and they were so professional, way cheaper, and super effective. Do yourself a favor, go to LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE!

They quoted me a price that included windshield installation, recalibration, cleanup, labor and…read moretravel to my home (price was quoted BEFORE I told them I needed them come to me, so basically N/C for travel!), which was a fair price after seeing the other quotes, one of which was around the same price, but didn't include re-calibration. I've heard most times this recalibration is not needed, but if it turns out it IS needed, you'd have to take it somewhere else at a cost of $250-$700, or as much as $1,000 at a dealership! No thank you! Especially after the already expensive windshield! My tech was Kyle and, boy, was he sharp! When he arrived he told me it would take around an hour, I believe he finished the windshield installation, recalibration and cleanup in around 30 minutes - no small feat for my big Honda Odyssey on his own - and returned from the test drive in under 10 minutes. It was easy to pay with any type of credit card, even AmEx, and all told I think it was about 40 minutes. The owner, Steve, was a pleasure to talk to, as was Kyle, A couple of easygoing guys. I definitely made the right choice! And, if ever I have the need again, I will probably only be putting out a call for one quote ... from MasterTech.
