Avoid this place like the plague!!! This was my second visit to safelite. The first visit was seamless. Christian was my tech both times. Very friendly and courteous. The second time I had a broken drivers window replaced. Later, I noticed my passenger side sensor light was on, so I took it to my local dealership and turns out safelight forgot to plug my sensor light back in. So, The jeep dealership fixed it. I didn't take it back to safelite because I am not a mechanic and had no way of knowing these 2 things were related. Safelite refused to reimburse me per Will Seratt the manager. He said he was told by their main manager Tim Foreman that I should have brought it back to them. I want to warn you to beware. They didnt reimburse me based on a technicality in my warranty which states I have to take the problem back to them. So instead of being out $500 unexpected dollars, I am out $700 dollars because they were incompetent and didn't plug back in my sensors. I am not happy. I feel like they should have paid my bill at the dealership. I will not be using them again. Just beware, it's all fine unless you have a problem, and then it's not because they Do. Not. Care. Easy to do online. But if I ever have to talk to the automated system again on the phone, I will be put in a psych ward. I gave up, I called 10 times and talked to the clanker and it hung up on me every time. I told it what I wanted, and it acted like it had an IQ of a piece of cheese. I mean was this automated system made to be helpful or piss me off? That being said, all in all the automated system ruined everything. read more

It took 7 minutes to get a quote and they tried to get so much information that no one else had asked for. Avoid this big business and choose a smaller company, these people are data mining like crazy, took the longest to answer (prerecorded stuff), and cost the most. You don't need the license plate or VIN to tell me a replacement of a windshield. read more

I read the other reviews and thought it would be fine mainly due to convenience and getting it in quickly before it spread but I wish I waited for a better shop. They brought it out to me with the chip still visible which is normal but you can see where they formed a bubble in their own epoxy. Not sure if it will crack again but not a professional repair like I expected. I have had better results with a 15$ DIY repair kit from Walmart. I would recommend a different place for better results. Price to get 1 small dime sized chip fixed was 156$ which seems pretty expensive. read more

This business advertises they are open from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. It's also painted on their window. I got there at 4:45 PM to get an estimate on a windshield chip repair. They were already closed and sweeping the floor. The woman sweeping the floor ignored me. If you can't trust them to be open when they claim to be, how can you trust them to do a decent repair? Scheduled online but didn't know I had to contact my Insurance company. Safelite called me and explained that and I called my insurance and got it approved in minutes. Technician that came out was great. Can still see the rock shot but just hoping it doesn't spread. Definitely like the Safelite guarantee for that part. read more

All else being equal, I make locally owned businesses a priority when choosing where to spend my money. I took my car to a local company have a crack in the windshield repaired. They did the repair on the spot, no waiting and per their guidance on the phone, no appointment needed. I don't think the repair took more than 8 minutes. I don't care how much or little time was needed as long as it was fixed well. After paying I went out into their parking lot to leave but I could still see the crack very well; there was a very minor reduction in the appearance of the crack. I went back inside and explained and the manager (owner?) said that's just the way it is and that it is still guaranteed (the guarantee is that you get your crack repair money refunded if the crack spreads across the windshield,no different than every windshield repair place). He didn't come out to look at the repair work, just dismissed me by pointing to the 8x11 piece of paper taped to the front of the office desk showing the guarantee. Continuing to see the crack didn't make me happy and I left unhappy due to both the crack and the attitude. Still unhappy, the next morning I went to Safelite. The guy looked at the crack and thought he could make it better. He also offered to let me watch him do his work. He spent about 35 minutes working with it, basically doing their whole process two times. When he was finished, the crack was invisible unless someone pointed it out. Called into the 800# to set up the appointment and we chose to go to the shop everything was ready like we had been told over the phone when we got there and the service was completed in the amount of time quoted. We did not have any pushy salesperson trying to push other items on us to inflate the cost, we will be back again if we need the service in the future. im giving 3 stars cause last time they did good but this time they sucked besides tearing are vin plate they left the alarm sensor just hanging there a little two sided tape will fix it but i expect more from safelite they are suppose to be the ones you call if you want it done right. Also they had to install a second window cause the first one had bad spots the installer should of seen but they came and installed a new one with no problem I just expect more from safelite my vin plate being messed up sucks but stuff happen but not having a little double sided tape to but the alarm sensor back on the window is not good work ethic read more

I had my windshield repaired on 1/20/17 around 4:30 pm in Fort Smith, AR. It ended up being a very pleasant experience following an unfortunate situation where my windshield was cracked due to a truck throwing a rock. I was fully prepared to pay out of pocket thinking my insurance either wouldn't pay to have it fixed, or it would raise my rates. When I arrived at the appointment the tech was very friendly. Not wanting for it to be a hassle, I advised that I would just pay out of pocket. However, the tech was very helpful and insisted that my insurance would probably cover it. He went out of his way to call my insurance company, wait on hold/jump through all the hoops, get all the information, and make sure that it wouldn't raise my rates. He explained the process of the repair very clearly and it was done in no time. I was the last appointment of the day. It would have been very easy for him to just take my payment and fix my vehicle in a hurry. But he was very kind, professional, and eager to help.
