I've used Safelite many times. Twice in this site. First one was my Passport windshield replacement earlier this year. Non OEM windshield but I don't find any real difference and the calibration was good. Most recently I had my Accord front windshield replaced. Non OEM windshield. Unfortunatley the rear view mirror came back loose. I took it back and they replaced with new windshield and corrected the loose rear view mirror. So I"m happy with their service, quality and willingness to repair a quality issue free of charge. Will be taking my Pilot over there soon. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I had my windshield replaced on a Monday by a Safelite mobile installer out of Rancho Cucamonga. By Wednesday--literally just a day and a half later--a 10-inch crack appeared out of nowhere. My wife started the car, began backing out, and immediately heard a loud cracking sound. No impact. No rock chip. Just a loud snap and a visible crack stretching and splitting from the upper lip of the windshield. We made an appointment for Friday to get it inspected, only to have Safelite move it to Monday without explanation. The installer then showed up 40 minutes later than the time they texted. When he finally looked at the damage, he claimed it was caused by an "impact mark." It wasn't. The supposed "impact" was just the crack itself splitting--anyone with common sense could see that. I spoke with a supervisor who was completely unhelpful. He kept repeating, "I can't do anything if the installer says it's an impact," even though there was zero proof of one. Safelite refused to honor their own warranty on a windshield that cracked within 48 hours of installation. I've filed a formal complaint and will be following up with the Better Business Bureau as well. This was my first time using Safelite--and definitely my last. From the moment I checked in, the experience was smooth and efficient. Luz assisted me quickly and effectively. I was informed that the service would take about 6 hours because they needed to recalibrate the cameras. To my pleasant surprise, the technician, Emanuel, did a fantastic job and called me after just 4 hours to let me know my car was ready. The in and out process was easy as well. I didn't have to pay and get reimbursed; they charged my insurance directly. The waiting area was comfortable, offering complimentary gourmet coffee, hot chocolate, and teas. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They broke the camera system on our vehicle in a series of bad installations, then refuse to take responsibility, basically calling us liars. The store manager William has no business being a manager at all. He was rude, condescending, dismissive, unwilling to offer any help to us and insinuated that we were lying(when he clearly was not being truthful with us). We had an appointment set up with him at 1pm and he finally showed up 2:45, with no introduction or explanation of his tardiness. Avoid this location at all cost. Rain sensor wasn't put back on properly. They also broke 4 out of 6 clips holding the rear view mirror cover. I contacted Safelite corporate and waiting to hear back from the shop. They charged for a new rain sensor adhesive, but from asking around, it appears they simply reused the old adhesive. A few weeks later and I noticed it has another crack in it and they told me they will not replace it without fully charging me again due to an "impact point". I have not had this windshield for more than a month and it already cracked, I really recommend shopping elsewhere, their warranty is not good and their windshield quality isn't reliable. read more

I'm extremely upset with the service I've received. I've been calling multiple times and still haven't gotten a response--no one is answering or calling me back. A young gentleman came to my house to look at the damage on my windshield, and he decided to stop the process midway, saying it was too risky to continue. At that point, the damage was just a small circle. The next morning, I woke up to find that the windshield had cracked significantly! I'm beyond frustrated because the situation has gone from minor to much worse, and now I can't even reach anyone to help fix it. This lack of communication is completely unacceptable. But one day flat on my back resting after busy day thought I would try again on my phone. Safelite option popped up during my search. I was suprised how easy and quick the online estimate and scheduling software works. Not alot of steps to the process. A few clicks on my android phone. I made the appointment on the day and time most convienent for me. The software texted me confirmation and detailed instructions and a video link for brief instructions for the install day. I can tell that many customers forget their appointment times, because I was sent multiple reminders and the technician called me in person to let me know he was on his way. Extremely pleased with the price, quality of windshield replacement and the service technician. He was very friendly, wellgroomed, on time, careful with his work. I did not know there was companies that still worked this efficiently in Southern California. My neighbor was amazed by the price I paid. I had two windshields replaced on my two cars by same technician on the same morning. It was all done in a few short hours. Technician said the new glue sets so fast you can drive it after he is done, just dont wash it for 24 hours. I called you have my Rams windshield replaced with no issues before safelite so it was a no-brainer to call them for service. So I got the windshield put in thinking Safelite is a great company. They do solid work, but I was mistakenly wrong. I had the tech come out install the glass. I paid signed the papers and off you went two days later. I see what you see in the photos when I went to investigate they didn't put back the screws for the bottom plate so I called on a Friday at 6 o'clock. Left a message for them to call me back on Monday. I patiently waited. Tuesday came around, which is today. I got a call from jas who said it should follow under "warranty" I explained to her that the glasses never been changed before and I like the original parts put back in it. She said the store would have to determine that I don't want aftermarket stuff put on my car. I want the normal stuff that it had back in it from the dealer so the tech was neglectful. I called customer care. They were neglectful, even though this was a very bad experience I've learned my lesson and I'm just writing this review to really watch Safelite and make sure they do the right job because I have eight screws that now I have to pay $14 foreach one from the dealer and install myself read more

Well when I checked in, I was told I wouldn't get my car back until end of day, meanwhile my appointment was at 10. Oh, Safelite. Boy was I the wrong person to ask to write a review. WORST PLACE EVER!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE have your windshield repaired/replaced some place else. Any place is better than this s**t hole. Had an appointment on 4/20/24 @ 10:00 a.m. and I prepaid for the replacement. In the days leading up to my appointment, I received multiple texts and emails requesting the vehicle be dropped off prior to 9:30 a.m. Okay, appreciate the notices so I drop the Acura TLX off at 9:00 a.m. While I'm handing the gent working the front, he proceeds to remind me that Safelite closes at 5:00 p.m. Okay, no biggie, my wife and I don't have plans until 6:00 p.m. that evening - plenty of time to swing by and grab it before we need to be someplace else. Let me fast forward 7-1/2 hours to 4:30 p.m. that day. I hadn't received a text, email, or phone call with any updates. I get it, people get busy and forget to let the other party know their vehicle is ready to be picked up, so I told my wife to swing by on our way out and see if it's ready. Lo and behold...NOPE!!! my vehicle is sitting in the same parking stall, with the same cracked, busted windshield. Keep in mind I swung by at 4:30 p.m. and this place closes at 5:00 p.m. I'm no auto expert, but I don't think 30 min. is enough time to change out a windshield. I'll get to the voicemail later, but the 1st call I received from these criminals is at 4:48 p.m. that evening. I didn't answer because again, I have plans that evening and they close at 5:00 p.m. What are they going to tell me, "Uhhhhh, sir we didn't get to your vehicle today so we are going to have to keep it until Monday." The second call came at 6:03 p.m. that evening. I still didn't answer because they are supposedly closed and I didn't want to hear the ridiculous excuse they were going to try and lay on me. Now the voicemail, because this makes everything soooooo much better on Monday when I swing by to pick it up. Again, can't attach photos, but I really wish I could. Anyway, the last call I receive that evening is at 7:09 p.m. and Safelite finally decides to leave a voicemail. Here it is transcribed: "Hi, this in Daniel with Safelite AutoGlass. Your vehicle is done sir and we're closing so we're gonna keep it in overnight. We've been calling all day. You can come pick it up on Monday anytime. Thank you." First of all, your 1st call was at 4:48 p.m. How in the f**k are you going to say you've been trying to call all day. Second, you close at 5:00 p.m., moron. How am I supposed to get there before you close? You think I walked there? Last, thanks for keeping it overnight f**ktards. Did you change the windshield? I suspect not. I suspect Safelite was trying to cover their butts so they made up some fictitious nonsense. So Monday, 4/22/24 rolls around. This facility opens at 8:00 a.m. I'm one of the 1st people there to pick up my Acura TLX. Remember the voicemail, I can pick it up any time on Monday, right? Wrong! So besides not being able to pick up my vehicle, the stupid f**king c-bag, b**ch paper pushing, idiot at the front desk, starts trying to lay into me about not answering my phone, because of course, my car was ready. Until I said, "Really? Do you want to look at my call log and see what time you guys called? Because it was 2 minutes before closing and hours after closing." That sorry waste of human flesh immediately ran to the back to get my keys. But when she returns, guess what? If you guessed the car wasn't ready, you'd be correct. I was asked if I wanted to wait a few HOURS while they did the calibration. Ummmmm, no morons. So I contacted safelite because my AAA insurance company suggested it ... wrong thing to do ... although it was $500 cheaper than other quotes from $785- $950 I received... it ended up costing more the $405. I paid $200 for the moldings I didn't need 3 days off work.... My original appointment was on a Saturday may 17th morning. After Arriving & the service man examined my vehicle... I was told they couldn't work on my windshield because I needed new molding. I spent $200 ordering new molding. I couldn't get another in shop appointment so I had to do a home visit. I did that the following Saturday may 24, 2025. The dude said he couldn't remove my windshield wipers ... Memorial Day weekend. Not only this when he pulled up he told me it was gonna be more than 1hour & he seemed to start making excuses so he could leave early. He told me he could reschedule me for the following Tuesday at 8am. That never happened I called in & it was not scheduled. I had to go to the website to schedule my appointment. I scheduled it for 5/29/25 @9am. I was told the same thing about the windshield wiper, but for some reason this tech was able to remove the screw for the windshield washer blades .... I was then notified that the molding was not glued down & there was no need to purchase the new moldings ....so much bad information for a place that's supposed to be on top of things. I was upset because the dude that came out to my house took apart my vehicle & failed to put back the plugs that hold the windshield down.... I will never come back to safe lite again..... the service was a joke & all over the place ....nobody have money to purchase parts they don't need & I have taken off work 3 days to have my windshield replaced. I lost $1500 playing around with safe lite ..... at least the Redlands location was able to help , but the dude that did the home visit worked at this location ......... VERY BAD SERVICE. PLEASE DONT COME HERE! DO NOT HAVE THEM REPAIR YOUR WINDSHIELD IF YOU'RE IN THE INLAND EMPIRE. I got my 2021 Tesla Model 3 to have it fixed by them. It was a crack caused by a rock. It was a pretty big crack about a quarter size and they were able to fix it. The crack was less visible but what I was dissatisfied about is the fact that they scratched my windshield during the repair and wasn't able to fix the scratch. I had thought that this was covered under their warranty and which I told it wasn't. I called this location and this man was giving me a really bad attitude and just raised his voice and kept telling me theres no way I can get a refund for it without hearing me out that they messed up by scratching my windshield in the first place. He did not even hear me out when I said I paid out of pocket for the service because on his screen, he sees me having my tesla insurance. I tried to have them contact tesla insurance and have them do claims that way, but the technician told me I have to pay after service and reimburse from my insurance. Very VERY VERY bad service. Hubby reserved an all day drop off to replaced my front window between 7:30am and 10am , I pulled up at 8am . Spoke to a lady at the front desk. I was taken back when she said my drop off appointment is guaranteed by 5 pm.. I was a little confused by what she informed me. From my understanding when hubby booked it online . Seems like this was going to be done before 12pm. Apparently hubby scheduled an all day drop off ; meaning they guaranteed the work be done before 5 pm, they will work in between my car and the car that has an appointment. So if the appointment car did not show up at their time scheduled , the staff will work on my car. But if in between working on my car and the appointment time pulled in , they will stop working on my car and tend to that appointment . My Tip: make sure to Make an Appointment ; Not a scheduled all day Drop off . A scheduled all day Drop Off is pretty much you will leave your car all day. They also offer house calls services, fees varies for them to come to your place of residence, depending on the distance. So I decided to sit here and wait in their clean waiting room. read more

No one bothers to check if they have a part in-stock apparently. Workmanship is also questionable. Got my windshield replaced here due to an unfortunate rock impact. I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance from my scheduled date. The appointment day came, dropped off my car, and went my merry way. Then received a phone call saying they need to order a part in order to complete the replacement and that my appointment would need to be rescheduled. So you're telling me that within those two weeks, no one was checking inventory or trying to see if the required parts needed to complete the job was even available? No compensation for wasted time as well. The next appointment date was in another 2 weeks. 1 month spent trying to get my windshield fixed. So my windshield was replaced. Fast forward a few days later when I tried to spray with my wiper fluid. No fluid would come out. Had to get a technician to come to my work place to get it fixed. The technician (who was actually helpful and called out whoever fixed my windshield) who came to fix the wiper fluid system said whoever fixed the windshield didn't reattach the hose and also did not reattach rubber trims inside the engine bay (a rubber trim was hanging off and pretty much was swinging around in the engine bay). In other words, the job was rushed. Oh also, the person that fixed my windshield left a screwdriver in my car as well. Will not be returning to this specific safelite location if I need their service. read more

I took my 2017 Tesla Model X here to have it's windshield replaced through my insurance. These idiots installed my wiper arms in a way that cause them to rub my glass and eventually carve into it. I took the front shroud apart to inspect what was going on to find out they had installed the wiper arms incorrectly and cut into the wiper arms in attempt to gain additional clearance. Unfortunately, none of this was found till months later since it had not rained in quite some time. I went to the shop to show them what they had done and denied all claims. The supposed district quality control manager also denied all claims. If you have a car and it needs a windshield replacement, I suggest anywhere else. As these guys do not hold themselves accountable for shitty work. Ramon Fabela definitely does not know how to talk or treat customers well. Especially one that paid over $3000 for a new windshield. I have no issues with this place. Like any business, big or small, you win some, you lose some, can't please everyone. But my experience with them is a pleasant one. I had multiple cracks to my windshield. Some were spider cracks, and others were long linear cracks that continued to spread with time. I received a quote over the phone and made my appointment to have it replaced. Showed up on the date of my replacement service. They gave me a 3.5 hr estimation to replace and recalibrate. Entire process was about 3hrs and 20 min. The waiting area is sufficient. Coffee machine, water machine, TV with cable, chairs, and a bathroom. Sufficient enough to wait out the process. People were nice. Even helped get me the phone number to my triple A insurance so that I can file a claim and get reimbursed for the work over $500. FYI, safelite works with triple A insurance so they are able to communicate with each other and were able to get a claim started and the check sent to me in less than a week. read more
