I have been to many CPR classes, most you can barely keep your eyes open with the repetitive videos and boring instructors. This class is the exception. The class is made as painless as possible with snacks, coffee, soda and breaks. The information is delivered much better than a class focused primarily on thumbing through pages in your CPR book. Lots of hands on, and you can tell the instructor is enthusiastic and passionate about what he does. I retained information in this class way better than previous classes, and feel confident about the information if I were to one day use it. Not to mention, a great location so you can run your errands right after class. Definitely recommend. read more

This is the 2nd time I've used STS for my BLS class. The sign up is easy and cancellation even easier - I like the email reminders/notifications for a scatterbrained like myself. Had JP again and he's very knowledgable about his stuff. Very nice dude and patient. The course is quick and painless, snacks and drinks are provided with a few breaks in-between. Items are always up to date and cleaned. Ive recommended him to others but make sure your company takes AHA some don't (my friend learned after already completing the course long ago) And he will accredit you hours for those with licenses on the spot. read more

Ive taken many Certification classes for my Daycare License. This class was informative, interesting and engaging. Our instructor TJ was excellent. He was fun and had alot of personal experience stories that taught us alot. It brought what we were learning on paper to life. TJ made sure that The class, while moving along at a good pace, was covering everything and he made sure each of us had all questions answered. I will def. Working with children it is a good idea to take a cpr class. I took a cpr and first aid class and got my certification on the same day. They offer online classes for cpr and first aid but I prefer hands on. There was a combination of video and hands on training. It was a pretty straight forward class with a lot of information that can save a life. read more

Took the course in August. This was a little more expensive than other courses in my neighborhood (by $5-$15) but TRULY WORTH EVERY DOLLAR. I'm a health care professional and I've taken CPR about 5-6 times since college and this was the first time I was truly impressed with the instructor. He has real life experience and taught me many tips and tricks that I've never heard from Other instructors. He was like one of the few instructors I've ever had that has actually given CPR while other instructors before seemed to know the "knowledge" of how to do it but didn't seem to have ever given CPR in a real-life situation I'm definitely returning once I need a renewal. read more

My BLS was going to expire it used to be in Manteca but somehow I couldn't track the one from Manteca so I ended up looking for a class closest to home and I ended up picking Concord. The area was easy to find since they have good description. They have a good selection of dates and classes. Definitely a three hour class that went by so fast. I took the BLS CPR course for healthcare providers at the Dublin location with AJ as my instructor, and he's AWESOME! The class was only a few hours. Some classes elsewhere are much longer. I like that I received my BLS card right after class, rather than having to wait for it to show up in the mail. They have an elearning course which makes it really convenient. You can watch the videos and read the materials at your own pace. Take the test online too. Afterwards you can go for half an hour return demo on adult and infant CPR. Great instructor! Easy to understand. He give you time to practice and teach or correct you if needed. Completed my CPR and First Aid class today. The instructor's name was Charles. He made the course enjoyable. The videos were informative, and very helpful in learning the correct rhythm and procedures to follow for CPR. One of the things I noted that I have never seen before is the process for applying a tourniquet. I never knew you are supposed to write on it when it was applied. Two years ago I took the course with another agency that I also liked but the down side was that I had to wait for my card to come through the mail. Today, I left after the class with card in hand. I have been to many CPR/First Aid courses in the past. This was the best course I've taken thus far. I wanted to have my certification renewed, but was dreading the five-hour course. AJ was able to make a normally dull CPR/First Aid class educational and fun. Though the class was still five-hours long, it didn't feel like it. The CPR-AED portion of the class ran for three hours and was pretty hands on. The second portion of my time spent there was for the First Aid course. The First Aid portion was much more like your typical sit and watch a video, wrap someone with band aids type of class. I was okay with this since AJ stated in the beginning that we were attending a basic course. The First Aid portion was very much an overview of standard emergencies i.e. heart attack, seizure, fainting, stroke, diabetes etc. I highly recommend STS CPR Concord and AJ if you are looking to get CPR/First Aid certified, but don't want to feel like you're paying to watch a boring video. read more

This was a great CPR class. The instructor JP does a great job keeping it interesting. The 3 hours or so goes by quickly.

I took the Heartsaver First Aid option with Tomas, who was super chill and straightforward. Registration online was quick and easy, and you pay when you arrive at class.
