TJ was awesome. The class was very informative and much more interesting than the last time I took it. New training video with better actors definitely helped but what made the class the most interesting was the instructor named TJ. TJ has a great personality and is very knowledgeable. He shared his real life experiences with the class which adds to the education value but also kept the class interesting and entertaining. I have taken a lot of BLS courses, but I have to admit STS CPR Concord was one of the best classes I've taken. The instructor had a great sense of humor, was very experienced, concise, and to the point. The 3 hours were over before we even knew it. Took the BLS class for the first time,about a week ago, on a Saturday! Tyler was our teacher and he was awesome! I was ready to be bored out of my mind, but Tyler made the class fun! Just recently completed my First Aid / CPR / AED recertification - AJ was the instructor. He covered the material, with some humor, and seemed very well prepared. Registration was easy. The location is ideal for me, and has plenty of parking and nearby coffee, bank, Trader Joe's, etc. This is my second time with these folks - different instructors. Barring weirdness, I intend to recert with them in 2 years. It's a friendly, comfortable course (given a somewhat dry and boring subject, and potentially long day). read more

Awesome class! I own an in home daycare and take care of 12 babies from 0 to 5 years old and, I've taken 3 cpr classes and none of them ever left me feeling like I was prepared for any emergency. This time I'm ready should I ever (hopefully not ) need to be. The teacher Raheem was wonderful he answered all of our questions, was professional, funny and made the class enjoyable. He was also an emt, so he shared tricks with us that I've never known before, and it was much better than sitting through an 8 hr class only watching videos. Loved the class! Thomas was great at touching on all subjects that pertained to what we (as healthcare providers) needed to know and made it interesting and fun. AJ was awesome! He was super knowledgable and made the class super fun and not boring at all. He was patient with us and made it clear and easy for us to learn the information and perform the skills. I've taken other BLS classes with Red Cross and the instructor was terrible and rude and threatened to fail people every chance he got.
