The gas prices are comparable to other gas stations in the area, the store is very clean, and the people are helpful. The store is your typical convenience store with snacks, drinks, sundries, the like. they also have a deli, but when I was there on a Saturday at 11 AM, it wasn't open. They do have a good selection of beer, wine, a few souvenirs such as shirts, and they even sell Sacramento Kings and other trading cards. They have a car wash, but it is a touchless car wash. I personally have not had a lot of luck with touchless car washes. . One thing that they don't have, is any slot machines. A lot of the Native American gas stations do have an area that you can play slots. But since this is not on the same property as the casino, that may be the reason that they don't. Overall, it's a good place to stop.

Toonie was the only one I ever saw clean the milk dispenser for the coffee and when I saw her doing it you could tell it hasn't been done in a very long time. There was mold. I don't see anyone keeping up with the cleaning since she left. The only friendly clerk left are Cassie and Jerome. The new employees now add "loyalty numbers" of their own on customer purchases. I don't want some random number attached to my purchase/card. I find this to be bordering fraud. The car wash is constantly down as are the slushee machines. I don't trust the soda fountain as I never see them cleaned. This company has become more concerned about numbers and less concerned about about cleanliness or customers. They really need to bring back Stefani, Mason, and Toonie.

Buy one get one free for the normal size I ended up paying two dollars less and getting the same amount so shout out to you Tahnee... thanks for the awesome customer service this Christmas. On this trip, we didn't start on "Full" and a precautionary ~1/2 tank fill-up in Hang Town seemed reasonable. Plus, gasoline prices only get higher in the mountains. I'm not sure that the Placerville Valero is the cheapest, but it is easily accessible off US 50, especially if when we stop at the nearby Starbucks first. This time around, I didn't read the separate cash/credit prices closely enough, but I was just happy to have a full tank as we headed down the road.

Right, with a big-o SUV and a young lady inside not stressed out or anything. He did manage to drive off so I guess he got enough money from some suckers out there. Starting in the Sacramento area, you have to take the 50 East, there is a break in the road trip once you reach the city of Placerville. In Placerville the freeway comes to a stop and slow down, there's a light/intersection. It's a good stop to go get something to eat and or go to the bathroom. Most importantly, if you need gas this is the place to go! It's right off the turn into the small town. It's pretty spacious with parking spots and gas pumps. Also, there's a great Shell market that's available. It sells all of the gas station goodies along with restrooms to help assist the journey in. Everyone is super friendly and I recommend stopping here.
