The Bad: Right now is an older lady manning both lanes, she can't understand even when yelling loudly and saying letters and numbers clearly. She is deaf and guesses birthdays, and names, not even listening. I heard her do this with the customer in the 2nd lane and in front of me, not just myself. She can be either fake friendly or downright rude, either way she makes me feel like I shouldn't even exist. Cashier number #2747843. 2pm 3/11/26, Prescott Valley, Windsong. The Ugly: The 2nd lane should just not be on. Most people hang left, and then someone will cut the whole line to go to the right lane with the vacuum and speaker. People can't understand either party with the speaker and all the good people in the left lane get cut off, and their wait greatly increased. This is SOOOO frustrating, when this pharmacy is already not a great experience.

When I got there at 5:45 staff member in the front of the store told me the pharmacy closed at 5 because they did not have a pharmacist that night. "So can someone get it for me?" "No" "can you get it transferred to another CVS close by?" "No" "If I get it transferred do you know if they will close early?" "No" "Can you get me their phone #?" "No" "Do you have a manger here tonight?" "No" To be fair they said they worked the beauty counter and were out of their depth" So I left, got on the phone with Cigna and got it transferred to Walmart a few minutes away. Once I got to Walmart, they had my meds in hand in 20 min, and were super supportive and caring. If/when my local Rite Aid closes, I will NOT be transferring my business to CVS.

But the pharmacy either has to order the medication in, which seems to take an inordinate amount of time, or the staff finds some nebulous error that clears up after repeated calls. We got a message today that said that the order had come in and we could pick up the prescription. I had other errands to do, so put Walgreens last. They STILL needed "an hour" because the order had "Just come in". If it weren't for the fact that Walgreens has the contract for our Medicare supplement, we would be getting prescriptions elsewhere. C'mon, Walgreens, pull it together.

Long wait times in lines, listening to many other patrons voice complaints. They repeatedly promise to have prescriptions ready for pick up, but when I go to get them, they requently don't have them ready. Many times they haven't had the medications available. Today was the end. There's too many other pharmacies available without the stress. I understand why they have such a low rating rating.

A deli, bakery, clothing, in store food place like Carl's Jr, and everything else you'd expect to find at a Walmart. This is a decent location to visit when you need something and it has an outstanding variety of items to choose from. The only criticism I have is the parking lot can be a mess and it can be frustrating to leave too. Also at night, the lighting in the parking lot can be improved because it is very dark and hard to see. In the end, it is a passable Walmart.

He is a full-time worker, going to school full-time to become a nurse. Despite having health insurance, his medication cost him close to $200 per month for a daily pill, which he had no way of affording. Ellie took the time to find a manufacturer prescription drug card to augment his insurance that allowed him to obtain the medication. Then they referred me somewhere else that could not fill the prescription, then basically called me a liar when I said the other pharmacy had not received it from them and called me rude over it because of the back and forth they caused. They also would have known that Prescott Compounding might fill it but negated telling me that would be a viable option as well as the suggested Walgreens. Their staff is most unhelpful and was actually very rude to me. Calling back and forth to see where the prescription was sitting and them not filling it cost me hours of back and forth. Since Prescott Compounding isn't open as late, it seemed I was on a wild goose chase to get it filled but knowing if it was delayed long enough I would miss the open hours at Prescott Compounding. Which I almost did by literally 5 minutes. so vindictive over a simple medication.
