After picking up our groceries on 3/11/25 between 7-8p, they sent an email stating that one of my items ordered was out of stock & would be delivered to me on 3/12/26. Then I get an email on 3/12/26 from Walmart stating that the item will not be delivered until 3/13/26. This has happened with other orders in the past, so I am done with Walmart. Went to Walmart on Glassford Hill Rd. this morning for a replacement car battery. The guy who helped me with the battery was awesome. However, two other employees were pretty much a waste of time. When I asked the first person if there was an automotive counter or somewhere I could find someone in this (automotive) department, she said that she didn't know. She said, "I don't work at this store." I guess in a way she was right...she really didn't seem to be doing any meaningful work. After ringing the bell on the counter, an employee showed up to help me. I first asked her if the guy that helped me with the battery was still around. She assured me that she could help me. I explained what I was looking for. She took me to the isle where the item should have been if they had them. She then pulled an item or two off the pegs to see if those things are what I was looking for saying things like, "I don't know if this is what you're looking for." I thanked her and we went to the register to buy the battery. I had to navigate my cart around three employees who were standing (blocking the isle) to the check stands/customer service. While waiting in line, my wife pointed out two other employees who were leaning on the wall having a conversation for much of the time we were in line. If that was my company, it would have been quite obvious to me that I had too many employees who were poorly trained about the store products. I don't expect rocket scientists to take employment at Walmart but I do expect employees who are willing to do more than the minimum. read more

Don't go late evening after 9pm when they stock, all the isles are blocked with pallets and you can't get to anything! Plus, many illegals are coming in to shop, which makes it feel unsafe and they cater to them with many food products of their culture. Is this still America? read more

Be careful with their switch and bait. They put a price tag on the item, but when you check out it is more that the price tage. Even if it is only $0.30 more, with the amount of traffic they get, it adds up to stealing a lot of money. They will tell you it is a mistake, but they keep doing it. Make sure you check the price the register says to the price on the tag. This is a nifty scam! read more

I did some shopping for essentials at this Walmart, located in Prescott Valley. I was in town visiting my mother. This is one of the cleanest, organized Walmarts I have ever been to. All of the staff were so friendly too, which is always a plus! Merchandise was very easy to locate, and the layout of the store was very nice. Last review I gave this location was 5 stars. That was mostly because RUBEN is awesome. Every encounter with him is a joy. Unfortunately, the women who work the "CUSTOMER SERVICE" *cough* counter could use some training from Ruben. They act as if they are doing each person in line a favor just speaking to them. Then we get to hold our breath while we watch them assessing the status of our return. We get to listen to them mumble amongst themselves about how much they hate their job, and render a verdict: no return allowed...You get a store credit...or money slapped into your hand without a word. Rude & negative, with bad attitudes And for the love of service, PLEASE put an employee in the fabric/craft/paper-crafting & hobby area. You have a pretty decent selection of fabric at good prices. Waiting 15 minutes to get someone to arrive who can cut your fabric? Not so good. read more

Generally, the store is fine. It's typically well stocked and most employees are neutral if not professional. But, when you get the nasty ones, they are truly nasty. When I worked in customer service, I know if you were rude in an unprovoked way to a customer Management corrected it or wrote you up. I just left the store right now and asked an employee where the applesauce was. Mind you I'm always polite when asking for something as one should be. This employee stared at me and was like I don't know what that is. I said Apple sauce? I enunciated more clearly this time thinking maybe it was a confusion on her end due to me, not annunciating properly. She looked at me and asked if it is for barbecue or what. I said no, it is for eating... With a spoon.... This employee was in her 40s had longest dark curly hair with 2 inches of gray regrowth, overweight and somewhat looked like a bulldog not the cute ones either. She refused to show me her name so I could make a complaint to the store manager. When trying to ask her where things were things got heated between us to the point where I know myself, and I had to walk away or it was going to get uglier. I even googled a picture of applesauce for her, and she was still belligerent. I'm sorry she hates her job, but if she does not want to work at Walmart, stocking shelves, then go find a different job! If I could give Walmart zero stars I would I ordered a car seat for my daughter and had it delivered to my house after being told by Walmart that my package was delivered when it was not delivered they then replaced my package and I received it tonight upon opening my package I noticed that it was a carpet cleaner from the box. I opened the package hoping that it would be the wrong box and not the wrong item upon opening the package I was not wrong for my hundred dollar purchase of a car seat for my child they sent me a $300 carpet cleaner. That I do not need as my entire house is hardwood floors nor do I want. After speaking the customer service over their live chat they told me that they were sorry for my inconvenience and that they would send me a $10 promo code I will no longer be shopping at Walmart as this is not the first time that this has happened. read more

I moved to Prescott Valley 3 weeks ago and Walmart has been one of my favorite stores, they have amazing staff and even better prices across the store. Although, today was different. Before I even step foot in the store with my 6 y/o brother and teacup Yorkie, I was informed by a customer that my "rodent" was not aloud in the store. Shortly after the person that was with her said, "that is why DIRTY MEXICANS aren't aloud here". First of all, I was in a rush. I went to Walmart because my fiancé requested bandaids and etc. due to a work injury but I was SOOOO in shock that I had just encountered such a racist situation that I just went directly to the produce section after I walked in. I had no idea how to react after being verbally attacked!! Second of all, I have brought my dog to Walmart two other times and there has not been a problem either times. Maybe because the workers have failed to inform me or because he is always in someone's arms not being problematic at all! Although I fully understand that pets/animals are not aloud. Anyways point is, I am hurt that my 6 YEAR OLD brother had to witness such a disgusting scene like that. Seriously. I understand that no one wants to work now days, but to have ONE cashier open and the self checkouts overloaded is going too far. I don't want to check out my full basket by myself (not my job), so I go to the one cashier. There's a huge line behind me and the guy in front of me starts yelling "we need a cashier" magically several employees come running (I guess they don't want a scene). Why don't you just treat your customers with respect and open some dang registers and treat your employees with respect and maybe more will work there. Warning to migraine suffers! Prescott Valley AZ location now has crazy bright search lights that shine right into customers eyes. Fortunately, there was a very nice associate near me when I got hit. I was checking out in the local store earlier (Glassford Hill) when I noticed an overpowering smoke smell. Within a couple minutes, the smell had triggered an asthma attack. I asked employees about it and a store supervisor and was told it is Davi Nails burning incense. I asked why Walmart would allow this since it presents a health danger to individuals with breathing problems and/or asthma and was told "No one ever says anything." So I spoke with a supervisor and really felt like she was dismissing me. She said, "I will let management know" (which I seriously doubt will happen). Fortunately, I live very close and was able to get home and get my inhaler. However, if that were not the case then I would be sitting in the ER right now. I am just appalled that Walmart would allow this! read more

I live in Southern California and I thought our Walmart's were bad. Walmart here in PV is an entire new level of bad. This Walmart is much too crowded and desperately needs more staff to keep the checkout lines actually moving. Every time I come here, it's always a miserable experience. I have to wait, wait, wait. Getting tired of waiting 30+ minutes in line just to buy a few things. This has happened to me here multiple times. Too many people. Doesn't matter what day or time it is. Too many people are here. Over crowded and not near enough employees working the cash registers to accommodate the masses of people that are here. Apparently, the entire earth's population wants to be in this store every day at the same time. Self checkout is NOT a solution. Too slow. I ALWAYS get stuck behind people that don't know how to use them which is pretty much everybody! Avoid this Walmart. Do not come to this poorly managed store and be in a hurry. Find another place to shop or you will seriously be late to your next stop after coming from this Walmart. If I ran Walmart, I would terminate the management of this store for not staffing it appropriately! read more

You can hate on Walmart all you want but come into a Northern Arizona Supercenter and realize that you love it. You love it sooo good. While on my trip I needed to come in and get a few supplies. Mostly snacks and my son needed flip flops, twice. The other thing I did while I was here is get a scream'n deal on a small deep fryer. I ordered on the Walmart app for in-store pick up and in less than two hours my fryer was ready to pick up. Sounds odd to buy a deep fryer while on a road trip but you just cant pass up a great quality deep fryer for $19.99. I lugged that bad boy all over the state with me. It was worth it. Everything in the store is neat and tidy. It truly is the store of your dreams. They also have plastic bags. I was afraid to take some in the self check out and I looked at the worker guy and he looked at me and I said "Mister, are these free?" Then he stared at me like I was an imbecile and said "Yes?" Anyway, this is a weird recommendation but when you can go visit a Arizona Walmart Supercenter. Its one of my favorite things to do. read more

I am giving this store a one star simply because I cannot go any lower than that. We use the Wal-Mart app to see if certain items are in stock and then we will go, find them, and then make our purchase. But it seems that Wal-Mart likes to play a game where certain items are in the store (according to the app) until you walk in and your phone connects with their internet and them BAM! The item is no longer available!!! It really makes me think twice about giving them my business. This has happened at least three times in the last 3-4 months and my wife and I have become really tired of it. Personally I think it is unethical and under-handed. Worst Walmart EVER! I have lived here for 20 years. This store basically wiped out two other grocery stores that were here. They are ALWAYS out of just about everything-- whoever does the ordering should be fired. I have been driving into Prescott to shop at a different Walmart because this one is so inadequat. Also -- parking lot is almost always full so do we really need 12, TWELVE parking spots for people who shop online!?! I'd say at least 10 of those spaces are empty whenever I drive past which is frequently as I live less than a mile away. Also -- clean up those plastic bags that perpetually fill the empty lot across the street or better yet, ban the damn things!! Did I mention WORST WALMART EVER? read more

I wanted to say how impressed I was when I went to this Walmart by my house. They had tons of people restocking non-stop during this hard time, with the virus. I had no problem getting out of their way. Yes, there was stripped down shelves, but they are trying very hard to keep up. You won't find everything you need, but you will find more there than most other stores nearby. read more

Adam and I came here to get some provisions for the last leg of our cross country trip. We were incredibly impressed with this location. It seemed as if it was newer making it clean looking. It also had everything that we were in need of snack and drink wise. The staff was very friendly during our trip as well. Overall, we had a great experience and would not mind coming back. read more
