I've purchased several boats over the past 30 years, and I have never had a good buying experience…read moreuntil last month! I walked into Goldsmiths boat shop and I was immediately greeted by Craig & Glenn Goldsmith. They took their time to answer all of my questions and educated me on several different fishing boats. I was extremely impressed with their knowledge & honesty. Any questions that they couldn't immediately answer were answered by their mechanic & product specialist (I think his name was Mike). He explained all the differences, enhancements & safety features. Everyone at the shop made me feel very comfortable & important. They all genuinely cared about my needs & wants. When I picked up my boat they spent over an hour showing me how everything worked. I felt like I was part of their family. I also got a great price compared to the other boat dealers in the area. I am beyond impressed! I will be sending everyone I know to Goldsmiths Boat Shop! Thank you so much guys! -Steven Irgang East Hampton NY

Goldsmiths is the most knowledgeable, trustworthy and professional boat dealer on the North Fork…read more Believe me we've dealt with a few and none others come close. Craig and Glenn found us the perfect and very affordable Scout boat when we had just about given up on boating this year. They delivered it in pristine condition and have patiently answered all our questions since then. We've towed a skier, and made some restaurant discoveries in Sag Harbor and on Shelter Island. We are very appreciative of their services and recommend them without reservation.

Worst experience ever. Wait until you read what happened! While turning around to dock our…read moresailboat, our bow thruster stopped working. Our boat lightly grazed a pole and another boat. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO ANYTHING. Island marina management and some of the Barton and Gray employees collectively had their hair on fire. Megan, the manager of Island marina AGGRESSIVELY accused us of being intoxicated, trying to leave the scene of an accident, and refusing to give her license and registration details. She announced SEVERAL times in a loud voice that we are not permitted to leave the Marina until the morning. None of which were at all true. In fact we were docking at the time. A crowd gathered, Megan seemed to enjoy the attention and lacking any diplomacy whatsoever kept escalating an already tense situation. One youth working for Barton and Gray, fueled by testosterone and a hero's complex came to Megan's defense and called the police. The first officer arrived escorted our captain away from our boat, under the spot lights issued a sobriety test. He passed. We now had to wait for the bay constable who issued another sobriety test, which was also passed. Next a breathalyzer. Which was also negative. Law enforcement all behaved professionally. The entire incident was handled in the worst way possible. The staff at the Marina were rude and obnoxious. It was an upsetting and humiliating experience.

Quick and Easy. We went over and tied to the dock and within 20 minutes got all the gas needed. We…read moregrabbed someone to help us out and monitor the amount of gas that is being pumped. We had a little spillage and they kindly helped us clean it up with soap and a hose. I saw ice cream and boat related items available to purchase.

Strange that I am the only one who has posted on Yelp? LMS marine services is absolutely the best…read morevalue anyone could ask for. I just had him wrap my boat abd it included, a Boat Dehumidifier, 2 air vents, and a access door with zipper. Today is November 27th, 2022. The price was $280. Everyone else was $350 and up. Crazy. I recorded the install, and here is the video if you wanted to see his workmanship. https://youtu.be/p82KmjqEPHQ I gave him the JoeteckTips instant Awesome Rating and I recommend his services. In the spring he will be detailing and painting the bottom of the boat that is how happy I am. Thank you Mike!

We hired Lukens Marine to shrink wrap our patio furniture last Fall. My son also had them shrink…read morewrap his furniture. My son had a seam open up on his wrapped furniture and called Mike at Lukens. Mike told him he was out of town for a family wedding but would come by the following week to address the issue. He never came to resolve the issue. Today I opened up our patio furniture and there was easily 3" of water pooled on the bottom of the shrink wrap packaging and there were decayed leaves in the shrink wrapping as well. Clearly the shrink wrap wasn't properly sealed at the time it was applied. There was rusty water running out of the legs of the patio table and bench. My deck has visible signs of rust stains from where the water accumulated and came in contact with the furniture frames. Covering the pieces with furniture covers in prior years wasn't a good solution. The covers would blow off and water would penetrate. I expected a more professional outcome by choosing to shrink wrap the pieces. Clearly that was not the outcome we received. I won't use or recommend Lukens Marine Services for shrink wrapping in the future.
