cinnamon Shores recently changed their rules about certain golf carts on their property. I was assured multiple times by the owner that it will be fine and they do it all the time. I drive five hours and I come to get the cart to say that cinnamon shorts isn't letting us rent sorry and they just . Now everything is sold out and I have no golf cart. Don't use this Place. Don't listen to what they say. if you do take everything they say with the grain of salt. read more

I hardly ever leave reviews for companies, especially bad ones, but I think everyone wanting to rent from this business should know how violent the owner is and know to never give them your credit card information. To start, we had problems with the first cart we rented and we were on our second cart. Our second cart broke down as well the night before we were leaving. I call the business to inform them of what happened the next day because we are supposed to be turning the cart in. They tell me I will have to drive back to where the cart broke down, send a picture and sit with it because that neighborhood could tow it. So I do just that. After I call them, around 20 minutes passed and my grandpa calls to see how much longer as we are supposed to be packing up our vehicles to leave. The man on the other end of the phone, immediately starts raising his voice and tells my grandpa that he just found out about this. My grandpa tells him that he understands they have some issues with cinnamon shores (where the cart is broken down) and he understands that he doesn't want it to get towed but it isn't our cart and we can't wait all day. The owner then begins yelling stating "I know it's not your f****** golf cart so of course you don't f****** care. Next time I see you I'll break your f****** neck." He then hangs up. I drive back over to the rental place and call 911 for a police escort so I can speak to the owner about what just went on. A kid maybe 16 tells me that the owner is in Austin and that had to be who had spoken to my grandpa that way because he is the person answering phone calls. I have tried multiple times to get ahold of the owner and he will no longer answer my calls. Then, I get 2 following charges on my card for more than 700 dollars. I got an email for the lesser charge saying it is for damage but no further explanation. We rent golf carts on the island every year and I have never been charged for random damages. This is the worst business I have ever experienced. read more

My sister and I reserved a Golf Cart for July 4th weekend to be picked up on July 3rd. We went to the office gave our ID, finalized the reservation and were told they were just waiting for a few carts to come in from a sister location and were told we'd receive a call. We NEVER received a call and about an hour later, checked and our reservation was then canceled!? Reason it said was no payment but it was already paid In full. I have the receipts to show as well. I called after hours and a nice gentlemen named Robert had informed me he wasn't sure what had happened but they would have a cart for me fire thing this morning (July 4th). I stopped by the office and NO ONE was there except for a couple guys tending to some carts. I called the number listed and a very VERY RUDE lady named Lisa answered and told me "sorry our system messed up and we canceled you, I don't know what else to tell you!" Much more was said but that's the main part that stuck out and were told they couldn't help us with a 2 day reservation as their minimum is 3 days, and basically just told us "oh well". VERY, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, and no explanation further as to what happened. read more

Rude & unprofessional customer service but thankfully I got my money back. Too many options on the island to waste money here. The guy washing the carts was nice & helpful but that's the ONLY positive I can give. He & I spent a good chunk of the morning calling & texting the guy who runs it tying to pick up my golf cart. read more

We had an amazing experience over the July 3 holiday weekend. We picked up our golf cart the first day about 1030 am and kept it for 3 days. The staff were wonderful upon pickup and return. The process picking up was easy and dropping off took 5 minutes. We were able to truly enjoy the beach on the cart and we can't wait to go back. Thank you Sage Beach Carts read more

I rented a golf cart on April 30th for July 4th thru July 6th. The company emailed me at midnight on July 3rd saying our reservation was canceled per renters request/no delivery address/non payment. We did not cancel nor did we ask for delivery. We paid when we reserved and payment came out of bank on April 30th. I called left message on July 4th early morning to see what was going on. No answer no one in office but door was open. Finally they answered at 10a girl told my husband she doesn't deal with reservation and said they had broke carts that's why they probably sent email. As a business this sucks to send an email 9 hours before pick up and too late to rent from other places due to July 4th holiday. read more

We had a great experience with Sage Beach Carts last year and can't wait to rent with them again this year. We rented the luxury 6 seater for our week at Cinnamon Shores and had a blast with the convenience of having it delivered Sunday before noon and just leaving it that morning for pickup when we checked out. The golf cart was comfortable, stable and easy to drive. All five of us (four adults and a tall teen) fit comfortably with room to spare to carry our cooler and beach bags. The seats were well padded and very comfortable. The cart had fun colorful lights at night and a good sound system that you could connect through Bluetooth. Easy to use with the code so you didn't have to bring a key. Can't beat the convenience and quality! read more
