My experiance at Gentle Dental was perfect. I was extreamly nervous because I hadn't been to the dentist in a while and I had recently chipped my front tooth. I was worried that I'd be judged for not going sooner. I didn't feel judged at all and everyone there was very friendly and understanding. Everything happened so fast. I literally felt like everything happened in the blink of an eye. My chipped tooth was filled in and it even looks and feels better than before. They even collaborated in matching the tooth color perfectly and I didn't feel any pain the whole time. Gentle Dental truly lives up to their name. read more

I have never actually been seen at Sage Dental despite multiple attempts. When I made my initial appointment over the phone, I was told my appointment would be at the Indiantown Rd location, which I was somewhat disappointed by as I work close by to the University Blvd location but still not bad. I then arrive 5 minutes early to the Indiantown location, to be told I don't have an appointment, so then I deduce I probably was told the wrong location and I tried to leave and drive to the other location. However, I was delayed an additional 10 min while the secretary looked for my appt, finally to be told that yes, I had an appt at the other location. I rush there and of course I'm 15 min late, only to be told I am too late for my appt and I can't be seen, despite the fact that it was their own mistake. Of course I'm upset, but still made another appt since they were willing to accommodate me that Friday afternoon after I get out of work. Thursday afternoon I get a text "confirming" my appointment for a time that was 1 hr earlier than the appt they gave me, so I call them to let them know their mistake but am told that actually, my original appointment was canceled and I was given a new one. Thanks, but no thanks Sage Dental... this is abhorrent customer service and it seems to be a pattern based on the other reviews here. read more

Pediatric Dentist was fantastic! His dental assistant was very sweet and did a wonderful job numbing my daughters gums before the dentist removed her teeth that were impacted. Both very patient and caring. He spent plenty of time with her. read more

I would not recommend this office. I went there for a consultation for a root canal. The Dr. did two tests and verified that I needed a root canal and she could do it. One test was checking the tooth sensitivity with an aerosol spray. I made an appointment for the next week. When I went out to my car I looked into my mouth and saw that the inside of my cheek by the tooth was bleeding. I was starting to get nervous about having this Dentist doing a root canal. I went back into the office to talk to the Dr. She looked into my mouth and said that now she realized she would not be able to do the root canal. This cost me $168. I feel that this place is over priced. read more

I wish I could give them minus 5 stars! I have never had a worse experience at a dentist in my life! I literally walked out! First you have to go for an evaluation & Xrays. I am new to the area, so I figured ok, & they're open on saturdays which is convenient. They instantly discuss how much work you need, & talk about their Savings Plan. So I decided to get a cleaning & a tooth filling scheduled. Upon going to my second appt the hygienist was extremely rude! She told me I needed $1,000 worth of cleaning that she wasnt going to have time to do, & proceeded to text on her phone. Then when I objected to the cost she just stated you should of been told & I was wasting time. I have taken care of my teeth my whole life & was basically spoken to like I have never picked up a toothbrush! Horrible staff, costly procedures! I suggest anyone who reads this should go elsewhere! read more

The doctors here treat you amazingly...except not for the reason you would think. Instead of acting nice just to keep customers, but its just to make you spend money on treatments that do not benefit you. Highly expensive treatments which leads to MORE problems which ultimately led to me losing 2 teeth and having 1 damaged one costing me $3200 and my insurance way more. read more

If I had the option of minus five stars that would be my choice. Had the dentist dr Harrouff recommend a bonding procedure for two of my bottom teeth. They were slightly pointy and honestly did not bother me at all - 399 he told me but I will give you a 50 dollar discount. Did one side looked great .I inquired about why my back left tooth looked rather dark in the middle. He takes the drill and drills a hole in my tooth and says it's a crown and the metal is showing thru. I asked him to fix it and he told me i needed a new crown. I was furious and told the manager what happened and got the number for the corporate office and called when I left the office - I rescheduled an appointment to have the other side pointy tooth bonded. Guess what I was greeted with how dare you call corporate and complain. I had asked for the other doctor to finish the work I had already paid for. The doctor explained that I didn't understand that the cost was per side. So now I'm expected to shell out another 399 dollars when what he clearly said was that the price was for both sides - Do not go to this office. I complained to the office manager and was told that it would be taken care of this was in April. I asked for a refund and got nothing. If you want to be conned and ignored and have a dentist drill a hole in your tooth and staunchly deny doing it ( in front of two nurses than by all means. Come on over My grade ?F- And I also called their customer service team who has yet to bother to return my call. Both mine and my husbands experience here was nothing but HORRIBLE. For starters X-Rays and Cleanings are separate appointments, which is not told to you when you schedule it but only when you're leaving the X-Ray appointment. I don't know about you but to come twice for what should be one appointment is quite inconvenient. I had a $300 credit from a root canal that was never disclosed to me nor mailed to me for over a year until by chance they mentioned it to my husband at one of his appointments and then still it took over a month for them to issue me a check because the preferred method of using credit is towards services. Then my husband had to do a deep cleaning for all 4 quadrants of his mouth only for Gentle Dental to charge DOUBLE the price per quadrant than what was our contracted insurance rate. This also resulted in the need for a credit to be issued via check for the overcharge. Then once I went to a new dentist I was told that one of my crowns from the root canal weren't fitted properly so I went back to Gentle Dental to have them correct it, to what should be free of charge to me as it was within 2 years and their poor work, but that was denied and my insurance wouldn't cover another crown for the same tooth so I had a different doctor correct THEIR mistake at my expense read more

I signed up for the Sage VIP Plan for $199.00 which included cleanings. I went to the first appointment and I was presented with a care plan for over $5,000.00. I was told I have gum disease and they refused to do a general cleaning. I requested a refund from Sage for the $199.00 and they refused. I went to another dentist and I was told I did not have gum disease and my care plan incorrect. Buyer Beware. read more

Seriously the worst dentist you could EVER imagine! I made an initial appointment for the convenience factor that they always have appointments available (there's a reason for that, they're AWFUL!). The front desk tell you one time on the phone, and then change it without telling you. The hygienists and dentists are clueless and try to suck every last penny from you. Last time I went the hygienist was berating me, telling me that my teeth and gums were awful and that I needed a deep cleaning for 4 quadrants of my mouth. That's when I decided to leave, and I am so glad I did. I am thrilled to say that I have finally found the most amazing dentist. From the minute you walk in, you are greeted with a smile and there is never a long wait. I was more than pleased to find out that my mouth was in fact perfectly healthy, and my cleaning was done in 30 minutes to prove just that! Save your money and go to Dr. Vincent Guerra & Dr. Michael King at Jupiter Dental Care- can't recommend them enough!! Went for a 6 month checkup last fall, fist time at this location, had been to Lake Worth previously. The dentist said I had 3 cavities and something that he wasn't sure of, so he said he would have to drill through my tooth to see what it was. Obviously, I went to get a second opinion. I only had one small cavity and the dentist was shocked that the other guy said he was just going to drill to see what it was....8 months later I get a bill from them, turns out he gave me a full set of X-rays that weren't necessary since I had just gotten them done less than a year prior, so I was to pay the balance that my insurance didn't cover. Needless to say, do not trust them, they are looking to rip people off. read more

After reading very poor comments I must admit I was very concerned to visit Sage Dental on Indiantown Road. They accepted our insurance so I decided I would go for a cleaning and see for myself. I was pleasantly surprised, the girl at the front ...Madeline was fantastic with all my concerns and questions. She is a gem! The women who took my xrays was a sweetheart. Michael who cleaned my teeth was also very professional and did an awesome job. When people are sooo quick to bash services and some are justified I just wanted to take the time to commend everyone who did a job well done. read more

I went to Jupiter from Stuart to go to an oral surgeon to have a molar removed and it was brutal! My face is so bruised, people thought I was in an accident or my husband had me by the throat. What's the point of going to a surgeon if they are going to pull your tooth with all their force and hold your head down. They did not help to control the pain, 4 days later it's still almost unbearable and said it's completely normal. Never again will I step through those doors again! Couldn't leave this post without a star rating, but I take it back. Negative stars! read more

This dental group is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced. First, the group of girls working in the office cannot figure out how much my insurance would pay for any dental procedures. They kept trying to charge me for a cleaning despite me bringing in a 50 page book with the summary of my benefits. Needless to say, I read them the book like a bedtime story and the charges slowly went to sleep. Next concern were my cavities. They told me I had a bunch of cavitites (10 or so)........WOW WHAT? I starting going to this dentist because I relocated to Jupiter. I had a great dentist in West Palm Beach that was monitoring my TWO very minor cavities. I laughed when they had me sign this "treatment agreement" that said they would fill all of the cavities. Needless to say on my first visit they tried to fill a bunch of them and I told them no. They pulled out the agreement and I again laughed. They didn't fill any cavities that day. I mean my teeth weren't even bothering me. After much nagging, I allowed them to fill one cavity. 6 follow up visits, multiple adjustments, and waiting hours in their waiting room, my tooth still hurts. I sat in their waiting room for over an hour one day. I complained and the receptionist told me the dentist was busy. I walked out on that appointment. They treated me as if they were doing me a favor and that my time was not valuable. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. YOU WILL REGRET IT. YOU WILL WASTE LOTS OF TIME IN THEIR WAITING ROOM AND YOU WILL BE IN A WORSE PLACE THAN WHEN YOU STARTED. Seriously, look at all these bad reviews. There are so many providers to pick from, you should not even risk it. It doesn't matter how close you are to this office, pick another one. You won't regret not going to this place. So now I chose a different provider that will fix the mess this place has caused me. read more

awful experience! Dr. Azari's Gental Dental is all about racking up a big bill and nothing about helping people take care of their teeth. Long wait, quick glance at x-rays, a 20 second peek in my mouth and diagnosis- 2 root canals and 2 or 3 crowns, etc. Dr. Azari was irritated by my questions about filling vs.root canals My cleaning experience was equally bad. The hygenist told me I had pits and receding gums and needed a high tech, more costly cleaning and every three months. When I went to another dentist, I needed my x-rays.I called, then went in person to the office to request my x-rays be sent, in person and in writing, to the new dentist. I was told it would be done the next day. The next week I go to the new dentist, and Surprize! Gental Dental did not send my x-rays and I had to have new ones taken. Not too amazingly, I actually don't need two root canals, nor do I have pits and receeding gums. read more

The worst experience you will ever receive. I have received bills for other people who have no connection to me whatsoever and it takes forever to have their billing mistakes corrected. This office only cares about your money. I have heard of others having bad experiences but I went to see if I would encounter the same because it was convenient. The front reception staff are all rude. The office manager allows this to go on. Allison has horrible customer skills and apparently doesn't appreciate her job. Find a better manager and staff to run your company or your business will fail. Stay far away from this office or you will receive bills that do not belong to you and it takes your precious time to rectify these matters. I will share my horrible experience with everyone I know. Gentle Dental (now Sage Dental) has horrible staff running the place. No doctor or dentist is worth going to if it isn't a pleasant experience from beginning to end. I was a victim of the high pressure sales and the call for immediate action or my health would be at risk. I went in for a simple cleaning. I have always been told that I have great teeth and have very little dental work (a few fillings). I did not have any pain, sensitivity or other tooth or gum issues. I am in my mid 40s and just moved to the area. Because I had a cleaning and x-ray at my last cleaning before I moved, I had the x-ray sent over before my appointment. When I went for my appointment they had not seen my x-ray. Once they located it they said it was not the kind they needed and would have to take another x-ray. Since it would not have been covered by insurance so soon I said I would not pay for the x-ray. They agreed to take the x-ray free of charge (ha ha). I was then told that I needed a special gum cleaning for a cost of $500. I asked if I could just have the regular cleaning covered by my insurance. I was told no they would not do a standard cleaning. I was told I would loose my jaw bone and loose my teeth if I did not do this now. I was told it was serious and had to be done. So I agreed and paid out of pocket on top of my insurance $500. Unfortunately I was not prepared for this high pressure tactic and trusted them. I have had nothing but gum and tooth aches and sensitivity since the procedure 3 months ago and I am very unhappy with Sage Dental. read more

I have recently read some very negative reviews & comments about Sage Dental, but I have nothing but positive feelings about Sage Dental in Jupiter as well as the staff there. I recently switched from Sage Dental Stuart to Sage Dental Jupiter because when Dr. Rothskind left Sage Dental in Stuart & moved to the Jupiter office, I felt that I had lost a dentist in whom I had complete confidence in his judgment concerning any treatment needed and also in his capability and his kind attitude toward his patients. I did not have a good feeling about the new dentist in the Stuart office, although the staff there is wonderful! I now have changed to the Jupiter office and am again seeing Dr. Rothskind. I found I had some bad cavities I had not been aware of, and I am so happy that I again can rely on Dr. Rothskind. I also want to say that I find the staff at the Jupiter office to be very efficient, and very friendly and helpful. read more
