I went yesterday to get a permanent bracelet, anklet and ring from Gretchen. I liked that this location was closest to me and that the pricing was extremely affordable in comparison to some other locations I researched! I should note that this location is in an older house, on the second floor. It was a bit hard to find and the signs were barely visible from the road. That's my only critique. Gretchen was extremely patient, helpful and sweet. She carefully helped me select a chain and charms I was happy with. She gave helpful suggestions but was in no way pushy and very happy to answer questions. I had brought my 7 year old son with me and she even explained the welding process to him as he was interested in that part and let him watch with her safety glasses! She really went above and beyond to make it a fun experience. I liked that nearly all chains are the same pricing--I believe $65 for a gold plated bracelet and $75 for an anklet (I believe the sterling silver were priced a bit less?) Charms are $15 and there was a lot to choose from. She was running a summer special at the time for $140 for an anklet, bracelet and ring which I thought was a great deal! Gretchen explained "the jewelry is as permanent as you'd like it to be" meaning it shouldn't tarnish but you can easily remove it with a pair or scissors or pliers if you decide to. She can reweld it back on you later if you like! I saw one other review say her jewelry tarnished and fell off fairly quickly. Gretchen did say she will reweld any jewelry that falls off. She also had several anklets and bracelets on that she had worn for a while that looked as good as new. I'm optimistic my jewelry will stand up to wear and tear but I'll try to update the review in a few months. I'm already planning a trip back with a girlfriend to get more bracelets added!!

I asked what she was doing and was told that as long as it didn't hurt me, I was fine yet I can see the top of my nails being ripped off onto the gel because of the way she was removing it. once I said something, she decided she was no longer doing my nails, so I was passed on to the owner now being the owner. I thought I was in good hands. Well, I thought wrong! he tried to let me know that the powder he wanted to use on my nails was gel when in fact, it was not and they had to show him what gel actually is. He then proceeded to take off my old gel and didn't give me any sort of manicure my cuticles were not pushed back or anything. He put on a layer of no chip clear base before starting the gel! if anyone has ever gotten their nails done, they know that is a big no no and I said something right away. he insisted this was the way to do it so I let him and now it's been two weeks later and the gel has completely fallen off my nail my nail has broken and the no chip base coat is still on my nail. so unless you're going in for a typical manicure or no chip manicure, I probably would not go here.
