I LOVE DR DAOUD SO SO MUCH!!!!!! He always listens and really cares for me. He makes sure I leave with a plan and follows up to see how I'm doing. Doesn't make me take a million pills if I don't have to. I'm so comfortable with him and fully trust him in managing my pain with Ankylosing Spondolytis. I don't ever want to see anyone else! GO ELSEWHERE!!! I showed up 30 minutes early just to be told my appointment was at their "other" location even though I have the confirmation paperwork. Office staff told me they would call the other office to inform them of (their) problem. When I got there it was obvious no one had communicated anything. I was not seen. I've never left a review for a doctor before, though have been treated by dozens, but Dr. Daoud is Exceptional. I say with complete certainty that Dr. Daoud is at the top of the many, many doctors I know for his genuine companion, thoughtfulness, competence and overall approach to medicine and his patients. I feel better every time I see him, knowing he is absolutely committed to improving not just my health, but my quality of life. Dr. Daoud has truly changed my line for the better, he is a breath of fresh spring air in the medical field. If I could give it a -1, I would. They have a terrible call center for scheduling appointments. They never answer your call directly, then call you back a week later to tell you you need a referral even though your health insurance says you don't need one for medical care. Then they give you a fax number, you follow the protocol, and they call you a week later and say they haven't received anything. Then you go in person and deliver the referral, and a week later you call back, and they say they have nothing. The administrative management in that office is a disaster. There's no seriousness, and I think they're making fun of the patient, wasting valuable time. If they don't want to see new patients, say so! But don't go through the process of seeing a doctor; it's an additional trauma to the illness you already have! Terrible customer service! read more

Dr Daud is very caring and knowledgeable. After working with me trying different things for my rheumatoid arthritis I'm no longer in pain

I was given a referral from my hematologist, I called later the same day the referral was sent. I was informed it would be two weeks to process my referral and the office would call to schedule an appointment. I called again at three, four, five, and now six weeks after my referral was sent. Each time I'm told the office will call me and then I'm hung up on. Glad I'm not deadly ill. Maybe you have to be dying to get an appointment here. read more

Update: I've stopped seeing Dr Jianu because of his stated feelings about Covid and Covid precautions. Although his staff follows CDC guidelines, he specifically stated that he's opposed to them and would prefer natural heard immunity. Stay away from this office! You have to go to the office to make an appointment, they do not take phone call, it goes to an answering service. They do not return phone calls. They cancel your appointment without reason, and if you are not at the office, to the minute, for your appointment they call you and cancel it. This post is about the staff since I didn't get to see the Dr. The receptionist asked me if I had a referral which I was took back by bc that's a question you ask on a confirmation call which I never got. I spent 30mins in the lobby calling a previous doctor to find a referral so I didn't have to pay $100. After trying to get the referral they charged me $40 just to send me to a room to sit for another 30mins. Then the receptionist come back in To tell me I WONT BE SEEN since I couldn't pay the full amount! I was never told this over the phone. Wasted my whole morning and I waited over 6mos for this appt. Dr spent 45 minutes talking to me. I appreciate that very much as most Drs. Just shuffle you through. I absolutely LOVE my doctor.........Dr. Nasim Daoud. He is compassionate and kind and listens intently to your concerns. He knew I had suffered so long with a torturous itching from psoriasis and eczema that did not go away on Enbrel. I have had RA since 1997 and with one change to my medicine he put me on Rinvoq. To me it has been a miracle drug. Works on my RA, works on ithching......only took one pill and awoke the next day no itching since. It has been three weeks. It also helped my bad back. Today I was walking like a 20 year old and I am 68 years old. All of the staff at Dr. Daoud's office are kind and willing to help you if you have concerns. Frustrated! I called to make appointment. They don't take my insurance well thats fine. I asked what there fee is cash and she said they only take insurance. No cash patients! They know how hard it is to get seen by a Rheumatologist, the average wait time is 6 months. Wouldn't they think to be more flexible and take cash. What kind of patient care is this. I just got out of the hospital and was diagnosed with Dermatomyosistis and need a referral from a Rheumatologist so I can continue with the IVIG treatment. At this pace I'm going to end up back in the hospital. Who knows if I'll make it to 6 months. Don't bother to call them and keep looking for a Doctor that cares about patients. Horrible experience from the beginning called to schedule an appointment receptionist named chomdra answered was rude. She had a bad attitude could tell she was in a bad mood over the phone. She told me she was not going to make my appointment since she did not have the time to pull up my referral in the system. Mind you this is my first appointment with this practice. Then she proceeded and hung up on me. I was left without an appointment having to ask my doctor for a referral to a more caring and compassionate practice. Great doc. Listens, answers questions, asks questions, and is efficient. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes from walking in the door till I'm talking to him. But the strange thing is that I don't ever feel rushed by him - he will take as much time with you as you need him to. Plus, and this is the best part, I have spent 6 years being misdiagnosed by doctors with no improvement in my condition. On my first meeting with him, he had it figured out and I haven't felt this good for years. He also cleared up a couple of other issues I was having that weren't related to why I was even there. Not so sure this docs bedside manner is for me. I had a sudden infection in my ankle that lab work showed to be potentially serious condition associated with underlying systemic issues such as cancer or autoimmune disease. He disregarded lab work relative to the infection feeling it wasn't correct not clinically relevant on my first visit. On the follow up appointment, he said there were no labs showing anything serious, referring to his own bloodwork which was only checking for inflammation. I had to stop him there and say that there was a positive ANA and even pulled my own phone out to show him the results from an outside lab ordered by a different doctor, which was previously sent to his office. Maybe he doesn't really consider outside lab work as valid since he does his own.. Not sure. I know that Internet research can be dangerous but I'm reading that titre level at 1:1280 on the positive ANA indicates a high level which is something NOT to ignore. I also have other symptoms correlating to something of significance, which he disregarded as normal, stating that "what do we do with this, nothing", and then asking why my podiatrist would order such a test in the first place. (Yeah that doctor was awesome and covered all bases and I'm thankful for that). He said its nonspecific and many people have the same results so it's pointless to do further study. I'm just surprised as the callousness and borderline rude remarks. I can't fake a strange infection that points to systemic illness, nor the pain that I've been experiencing. I frankly would not like to take the "wait and see" approach and end up with damage to my body as a result. A second opinion elsewhere is definitely in order. No need to follow up here as its a waste of my insurance money. The good thing is they did get me an appointment in 2 days where other offices are at a month and over. Wait time is under 10 minutes and the appointments I've had were short. read more

Dr. Jianu is the BEST Rhumatologist in Las Vegas, and i've been to all of them. He is very good, listens well and has excellent bedside manner. His staff is competent and friendly, and try and be accomodating with scheduling appointments. They fit me the very same day for an emergency cortisone injections to my shoulder and hip, and the results were amazing! Best part about Dr. Jianu? They do all lab blood-draws on-site! This is so convenient and helpful, it makes sitting in the office for 3 hours every 6 weeks for my infusion actually enjoyable. read more

So far my experience has been positive. I have had issues with a previous rheumatologist, not here, who did nothing but blood work and no phone call or follow up, but gladly sent a bill. This office and staff have been willing to make sure what I needed and wanted have been sought out and followed through with. They have been very friendly as well. read more

A doctor who specializes in Rheumatology couldn't be bothered to ask staff to give me a lab order for my Dexa Scan or refills for a prescription I take that helps slow bone loss. He said see your family doctor for both. I brought the Dexa Scan results to the next appointment. He looked a it briefly and was not interested in the copy for my file. The same with copies of office visits my previous doctor who had retired gave me. He was polite during the initial visit but abrupt at the next ones showing little to no interest in my health issues. read more

If you are in need for a Rheumatologist in the Las Vegas area, Dr. Jianu is your best bet. Dr. Jianu and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The office is clean and parking is easy. It may take a few weeks to get in to see him for the first time but because of the limited amount of doctors who specialize in Rheumatology a few weeks really isn't that long. The one thing I LOVE is that they can do all lab draws in the office. I would recommend Dr. Jianu to anyone. read more

This was my first visit to Dr. Jaimu Tudor, MD, with the Arthritis and Rheumatism Institute. My appointment was for 10:30am with a 10:00am show up time for new patient paperwork. I arrived a few minutes early. Most of the patients in and out of the office seemed much older than I am, maybe in their 70s (I'm 55). The staff handed me the paperwork right at 10:00am. While I filled out paperwork, I listened to the receptionists take several phone calls, all from patients who wanted to either cancel appointments at the last minute or make an appointment for the same or next day. The receptionist did her best to accommodate each one. I was called to the back at 10:25am. I was weighed and vitals were taken, and the nurse said the doctor would be with me in a few minutes, but seconds later he walked through the door. I had given the girl taking vitals a two-page list of medications and outline of my medical history. Most doctors are immediately set off by my long list of reactions to most medicines. Dr. Tudor came in and went over every little detail on my sheets and every little arthritis pain complaint I had. He spent a full 20 minutes with me, which I found unusual because most doctors set aside only 10-15 minutes per patient. He prescribed medications under my written guidelines for back pain and inflammation. He was so pleasant and sweet. I'm always nervous with first time appointments, but he put so at ease. I had blood drawn and the technician was smooth with the needle and pleasant to chat with. It was nice to get blood drawn on the premises instead of sitting at Quest for hours. I am very happy with Dr. Tudor and his staff. He does not overbook. He takes time with his patients, listens and addresses their complaints and pains, and made me feel very comfortable and happy about the visit. read more

i have not been in to see the doctor yet, but so far my experience with the front deck workers have been horrible. one of the ladies named Tiffany especially. really rude over the phone. had to call her back like ten times just to get an appointment date set up. and every time i called she would say all my paper work was not in. so i had TWO of my other doctors offices call Tiffany at Arthritis & Rheumatism Institute to see what was missing. Tiffany told them nothing everything is in. when my doctors office notified me that they called and made sure everything was good to go, i called Arthritis & Rheumatism Institute back to scheduled an appointment and she told me nothing has been sent in yet. Finally after going back and forth with them i got my appointment set. hopefully the ladies aren't as rude as they are on the phone.... read more
