Even if it was a mistake as they said it was it was not an insignificant amount of money and if I had known the additional amount it may have changed the services I received. They already charge the highest amount in the range for the service and maxed out my insurance. Since there are dentists on every corner I would look for one that does not do a service then tell you they made a mistake with billing and ask for more. Seems scummy. I am not at all happy with this situation.

I thought it was odd to go to the dentist but not been seen by one. But hey, I am new to the area, this is the closest office so I let that slide. Then today... My daughter had an appointment at 2:20pm, she needed to get 2 cavities fix... I thought "30-45mins... okay, I'll wait in the car" I work nights. But 1.5 hours later and nothing. I asked front desk for an estimate of time left, and they tell me she is scheduled for 4pm?!?!! What?! I tried to call my daughter multiple times to ask if she was already seen, but she would not pick up. Later she told me that they would not let her answer her phone (understandable, since she was being treated, but still). She also told me they were extremely busy and there was only one dentist working between rooms (btw, my daughter said the dentist apologized x the long wait). Anyways, so my daughter got the anesthesia shots, and the dentist went to work on someone else... by the time she came back to my daughter the anesthesia had almost wore out. I work in the medical field, and believe me, I get it when we are short staff... but at least let your front desk know to make sure they have the right information before they pass it on. Please do not over schedule patients if you don't have adequate staff. I rather you reschedule me than made me wait that long to get treated.

They take the time to explain everything in detail and make sure you feel completely comfortable before moving forward with any treatment. The staff (Kelly) is just as wonderful--friendly, professional, and always welcoming. From the front desk to the hygienists, you can tell everyone truly cares about the patients. The office itself is clean, modern, and creates a very calming atmosphere, which makes such a difference if you're normally nervous about dental visits.

I had to cancel my cleaning appointment. This was back in July. They will NOT reschedule me! I have been calling and calling and they are so rude!! Saying they have no estimate of when I can be seen. It is now the end of December and STILL they have no plan for me. It is quite clear that their office is in complete disarray and their office manager is clueless and very rude! I have never been treated so poorly trying to reschedule an appointment. You'd think I had some disease the way they treat me! (I don't, perfectly healthy now) Now that I have a NEW dentist, I discovered even more of what was wrong with Blue Skies. They were trying to get me to do services I did not need! My new dentist is much less greedy and treats me like a patient, not a source of income. Blue Skies was trying to talk me into thousands of dollars of cosmetic improvements that I don't need. I wanted to like them, their office is clean and the personnel are friendly, but the way they are run and the office manager's total rudeness, I would definitely recommend finding a different dentist!

The invalid code (D9248) has been deleted from the American Dental Association (ADA) since December 2025. On the phone, the Treatment Manager repeatedly told me "it's the code we use at our office and it's a valid code and I will need to pay out of pocket for it and I should contact my insurance company if I have concerns about codes and billing. My insurance company let me know the code is invalid per the ADA. Additionally, the (D7953) is a rarely required procedure for wisdom tooth removal. In all, I am very leery of the integrity, honesty, and due diligence at Ballard Family Dentistry and I highly recommend all current and prospective clients to thoroughly review their insurance coverage prior to paying for dental work outside of routine cleanings at Ballard Family Dentistry.

Staff is…read morevery friendly and polite and they're totally willing to accommodate you however they can. Dr. Daniel is extremely knowledgeable in her craft and knows what she's doing and talking about! I definitely recommend Dentist of Eagle Mountain over anyone else! Now where to start with this review... I guess I'll just start by saying that this Dentist office is one of the most comfortable places I've been, outside of my own home. Dentist of Eagle Mountain is a pretty new practice for the area of Saginaw but the people that work there are far from new. They're experienced in their fields and do everything they can to help their customers feel comfortable and valued. The building is brand new and all the equipment was clean and new as well. It gives you a really comfortable feeling right off the bat! I originally went to them for a second opinion after getting looked at by another dentist and decided to stay with Dentists of Eagle Mountain after Dr. Daniel looked at my teeth. Dr. Daniel does as much as she can to explain your options and what she genuinely feels will be the best for your teeth and your health. She's extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all the questions I had for her, and there was a lot... The office manager, Cathy, is extremely nice as well! She makes sure to explain payment options, what she thinks you should do based on your financial situation, and it just an all-around pleasant person in general. I must've spent 45 minutes just chatting with her when I first visited. Overall, definitely one of the best medical places I've been and definitely the best dentist office! If you don't come here for your dental work, you're definitely missing out.

Dr Zhanna gave me a stare down when I told her X-rays were not necessary or required.

Prior to scheduling treatment, I contacted the office to verify that they accepted my insurance. I…read morewas specifically told they did and that they could not charge beyond what my insurance company would approve or allow under my plan. During that same conversation, I clearly explained that if the treatment was going to cost more than $15,000, it would be completely outside my financial ability and would be a waste of my time to even proceed with a consultation. I was assured that would not happen. Based on those assurances, I scheduled an appointment and was referred to see the endodontist/specialist. However, after the consultation, I was presented with a treatment plan totaling approximately $28,000 -- nearly double the maximum amount I had clearly stated I could not afford. At that point, I requested that the office send the treatment plan to my insurance company because my insurance carrier wanted to review the proposed treatment and determine what charges would be allowed or covered. Before I ever saw the endodontist, the general dentist in the office personally told me she could place my implants herself. Based on that statement, I believed my treatment could be completed directly through her without the need for additional specialist costs. However, the written treatment plan later stated that only the endodontist/specialist could perform the implant procedure, which directly contradicted what I had been told verbally. When I questioned the office about why the general dentist was not performing the implants after telling me she could do them, I was told that she "couldn't place implants with them." I explained that the dentist herself had specifically told me she could perform the implant procedure. The office then responded by saying, "Oh, she can -- just not here." This response made no sense to me and was extremely misleading. If the dentist was not authorized or permitted to perform the implants at that location, I do not understand why I was initially told she could complete the procedure herself. I relied on those statements when making decisions regarding treatment and financing. Despite my concerns and questions about the conflicting information and dramatically increased costs, the office continued repeatedly emailing me encouraging me to "sign up now" and stating that the pricing was "a bargain." Due to the misleading information regarding insurance coverage, pricing, provider capabilities, and treatment costs, I have filed a formal complaint with my insurance company regarding the misleading statements and false representations made during this process.
