The mofongo was hearty and tasted homemade. We also met an English speaking gentleman who was at the restaurant (role unknown) who gave us tips re: nearby beaches. Very friendly, personable, and insisted that we sit near him at the bar as he is a conversationalist. I have NEVER experienced this kind of treatment by any bar staff much less a bar owner in So Cal before. I had 2 mojitos which were amazing!
