As we were rushing through to check mark all touristy things we could do in a day at lake George near the prominent intersection of Canada road and beach road, we spotted this Gyro stand. We stopped to get a quick gyro on the go and when we checked the menu surprisingly they had some Indian dishes on the menu, so I ordered Chapli kabab on rice and my husband took the chicken Gyro. Both dishes were amazing, the kabab and rice had authentic spices and cooked just right, while it did not have the burning chilli (which I preferred), it sure had the heat from the spices. The lettuce and cucumber provided the right balance. As everything was cooked on the spot, it took him a few minutes to make it, but it was worth it. Portion size was huge also, I made two meals out of one dish. Will certainly come to this stand in our next trip. read more

Whenever we come to Lake George we make it a point to visit. The owner is extremely personable. He recommended the Seekh Kebab. It's ground chicken mixed with spices and formed into a log. Then, it's baked in a clay oven. Fantastic! Not overly spiced and packed with flavor. It comes with a home made cucumber mint sauce. We ordered one to try and wound up buying 3 more plates! Each plate was $13 and you got 2 8 inch seekh kebabs with a little salad, sauce, and a pita. We also got the samosas which were hearty. They were packed with potato, lentil, and chickpeas. We shared the 2 piece order between 4 people and it was just enough. The prices are reasonable for what you get. It averages out to about $15 a person for hot, home made, fresh food. Definitely worth it and definitely worth trying. read more

I wouldn't say it is great but it's whatever! The portion of meat with that particular price doesn't really add up! The food itself was very dry! And less meat more rice in a little box! Sandwich was extremely dry! The person was well behaved however, one person was working which sometimes does alter the situations into no customer as he is in the back! With that being said, the worker put no hot sauce less white it's like I ended going back and fourth while the seating place is upstairs where you can pretty much forget about the wind! This is a place right on the lake. We stopped here for falafels. The falafels are good and can be ordered in a pita or over rice. The white sauce is rich and creamy but the hot sauce is packet sauce and has no flavor. read more
