I love hookah and this is the first hookah spot I've been to since I moved to Orlando. I wanted to play it safe so I got a simple orange and mint flavor. When I first got it, there wasn't enough smoke pulling. When I asked someone to fix it, they noticed that there were two rubber pieces on there and the hose wasn't good. Before I continue, I noticed they used 3 coals for a short hookah. I personally never seen that and normally 3 coals can cause the shisha to burn faster. Anyway the servers never came back to change our coal. I had to hound one down. After hounding them, they had to "fix" it multiple times. Each time they fixed it, it would last for a few minutes and die out again. To be honest, there was no hint of the orange nor mint flavor. I gave up on it completely & I felt like the service was terrible. I watched them attend to every table but not once checked on ours. Oh & before I left I noticed that they place the shisha in a napkin, wrap it and smash it. Ive never seen that and that's probably why the hookah had no flavor. Had a great experience here. It was just the spot I was looking for to get good hookah (no al-fakr) but be able to do some work as well. There was a table of professionals able to have a conversation as the background music played. No Starbuzz (BEST HOOKAH flavors) but fantasia was a good second. These people are scammers, beware. My girlfriend and I came here just trying to relax. We counted our bill and it was supposed to be $35 but we paid $53 all together. The guy didn't give us our bill and said $46.01 I thought that's higher than expected but whatever they must of added that 18% gratuity & charged me for natural coal even though we weren't given a choice. The guy never asked me to sign for anything or gave me my receipt and it turns out I paid $53 after my account was pending for $46 meaning he gave himself a $7 tip. & he forged my signature because I didn't sign for anything! The menu clearly states there's an 18% gratuity for 4 people or more so how do we get charged 18% gratuity for 2 people + an extra $7 tip??? If it's extra for natural coal why don't you tell us that instead of just giving it to us and adding it in?? I use to Come here all the time years ago but new management is trash like their service. I use to Come here and it was $20 for hookah and no gratuity. If the owner had any class he would give me a full refund. How do you let your workers forge customers signatures? However, the service was so good until the guy who was taking care of me charge me twice , My bill was 407$ when he first told me , I was shocked for a sec bc I surely know what I did order and the cost of everything won't be more than 180$, I told the guy this is a mistake and he kinda was upset about it, then we repeated my order carefully and see what I got charged for. It's in the middle of a strip mall, but this is a nice hookah place and decently cheap. There are couches and tables outside with couches indoors too. It's a typical modern hookah bar with vaguely Middle Eastern decor but appealing to young 20s. I went on a Saturday and the DJ was okay but the music was a little too loud. I've been here many times and I used to love this place but the last time I went my party brought our own water bottles (they do not have a soda fountain so they only sell bottles) and when we were checking out we were charged for the two waters that we brought in with us. Literally charging us for our own water from our house. I've heard from friends that this is a very nice lounge to relax and hang out at. It was a Friday so I decided to gather a group of friends to pay a visit to Sahara Cafe for the first time. Upon examining the parking lot you would think this place was empty but to my surprise it was actually fairly busy. When I walked in with my group they immediately told us we could not enter due to capacity limits but they told us we could sit outside and wait for a few people to leave so that we could fit. We ordered hookah and drinks/food from outside while we waited but during that wait time other parties were entering with no issues. Since I wasn't happy with the treatment of my group I asked for my check so that I could pay and leave. To my surprise they told me I could enter the building to pay. Now I'm allowed inside? I liked this hookah lounge but I had a bad experience last night. I asked for a Al Fahker brand for $20 and they accidentally brought me a $24 Fumari mix. Then check comes and I am surprised they also charged me $3 for coconut coals. No one asked me if I want the $3 add on coals. So total I paid $7 plus tax/tip when I never asked for it. They charge for more than two people per hookah even if the person does more smoke. No where on the menu it says that non smokers will be charged for sitting. I came today to unwind after moving to the Orlando area from California. Upon arrival, I noticed the patio was clean and functional for a place in a shopping area. The café opens at 1700, but they didn't open their door until 1705. I followed a large group into the lounge and was greeted by a very nice gentleman. We made small talk and I told him that I prefer mint flavored shisha, because in my personal opinion, it tends not to get harsh as fast as the other flavors. He recommended lemon-orange mint. I told him that was one of my favorites and he went to work to fix my hookah. The atmosphere was laid back and the hookah was really clean. The hookah hit really well. I noticed that they offered wine, and I was able to try the wine before I purchased a glass. My only complaint is that I had to go to the bar to get service. I stayed for roughly three hours, and was checked up on about six times. I wished they checked up on the tables a little more often. After I checked out my bill came to $30. The hookah was priced at $15.00, but I got five dollars off for ordering before 1900. The glass of wine was $7.00. I, also, got a refill on my hookah for $5.00. What they fail to mention is that gratuity is automatically added to your bill of 18%. In my personal opinion, I feel gratuity should be up to the customer. I wouldn't mind if the service was outstanding, but the service was below average. If I wanted to tend to my own hookah, I would have stayed home. Overall, the prices are decent and the refills are a steal! I wasn't happy with the automatic gratuity because I do not feel as though it was 18%. So, they get a 4 star review from me.
