Two people can hookah all night for under $20 . It was so cool to be here and see Shaquille O'neal walked in !! They 'll take reservations so you can have a nice birthday event in an elegant place. I moved to Orlando about three months ago and went on the search for a hookah bar to spend one night a week where I can relax, get a coffee and a hookah, and do some work. I went to three other hookah places before finding Sahara's and it was like coming home the second I walked through the door. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff is always pleasant and once you become a regular they remember your order. The chairs and couches are beyond comfortable, wifi is always working, and the hookah flavors are wonderful. They have a house specialty using sangria and fresh fruit that I highly recommend. Instead of coming my planned once a week, I'm usually there twice now. Worst hookah bar ever visited because the service us so so bad it's not even a joke!! Took over 45 mins to get my hookah and when I needed fresh coal it took 25 mins. They hit us with hidden fees on the bill. $5.99 for an "additional person" and 18% gratuity. And even though i don't smoke, they still charged me for "smoking" the hookah, because i was with friends who did. We felt like tourists getting robbed in Morocco when we got the bill. read more

My wife & I decided to pop in to see what all the hookah hype was about. On vacation, first timers (and non-smokers) it wasn't a bad experience. We got setup with the cheapest package (in case we didn't like it) & really enjoyed the flavor. We ordered hummus, pita bread & tea. The tea was really good & the presentation made it better. All of this with a good music mix from the DJ made for a great time. We only stayed a couple hours as it had already been a long day with driving. Maybe now we'll try a hookah lounge near home. read more

In the area for the week and we love to try our hookah spots, we found Sahara on Yelp and really enjoyed the different flavors. They also have ice hookah and cocktails which were perfect. I have been here for 3 times. First two times it was okay, even it was crowded service was still good. But the last time we came soon after opening and there were just 2 more companies the service was bad and slow. We had to for server for 15+ minutes then 15 more for our drinks .... so we'll think twice next time beforwaite we choose a hookah bar... read more

I came here based on the reviews and since my friend was in town from NYC I decided to take him here on a Friday night. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, nice and clean little place with a variety of wines and hookah. DJ played a nice selection of music from hip hop to Spanish and i truly enjoyed the vibe. What messed it up for me was I was in a group of 6 people we were unaware that the hookah was only for 2 people then we were told we're going to get charge $6 for each person or we better get another hookah. I tried to explain that 2 of the people with us didn't smoke and he didn't care, since they were sitting with us we were gonna get charged $12 for them sitting there. This was pissing me off ! At this point I was already mad decided to buy a bottle of wine, long story short when we got the bill they apparently charged us for the wine glasses as well, like are you kidding isn't it expected to have glasses or everyone's going to drink off the damn bottle, smh. By far the worst hookah lounge, right when I walked in smelled like cigarette smoke really cloudy and super hot inside. No one came up to us to ask if we needed anything or to even seat us, we stood around waiting finally one table leaves we sit down STILL NO SERVER. We had to go up to the bar to order, we get the hookah dosent even taste like what we ordered, mint tea was OK not the best I have had. Getting ready to leave go use the bathroom no paper towels to wipe hands. Then the tab comes and its over $70 AND THE TIP WAS ADDED TO THE TAB!! .... for what? If I could give this zero stars I would. Came for my friends birthday and everything was horrible. To start the Hookah took almost 30 minutes to get to the table. Second, they were not clean at all. Water was full of built up dirt and particles. I also ordered some food and the waiter even recommended a chocolate croissant and it NEVER got to my table. When we got our bill there was an 18% tip included which I found outrageous because the service was horrible. As a waitress in the service industry I didn't hold back to complain about the 18% and the man told me it was "policy". I guess some places overcharge their tips even if they don't bring out what you ordered. Lol It's all a scam and I don't recommend this place to anybody. read more

The first and absolute LAST time I'll EVER go here. Went here for my friends bday and it was absolutely trash. We had a semi larger party (9 people) and they sat us down originally at a smaller table but we were making it work. Then they continued to bug other customers and moved us 3 more time.. we ordered 4 of the basic hookah ($15.99) and they took over 30 mins to get to us. Then when given to me, it didn't taste like anything, just smoke and it burnt. When we received the last one, it was the wrong flavor and they tried to charge us and extra $6 to change it!! They were rude to us. When it came time to pay, I thought that my total was going to be around $17-$18 since I only got one hookah plus tax. It came out to $23 and he didn't give me a receipt to check to see why it was so much. Just received a call from my friends and they were charged well over $30 and we all got the exact same thing just different flavors. I just called to complain and he told me that they charge an extra $3 for coals.. which you need to work the hookah anyways, and then an automatic 18% tip! Which is outrageous Bc they didn't deserve a 1% tip!! He tried to tell me that if I didn't have the receipt he couldn't help me, yet none of the 9 of us got a receipt. The worst experience at a hookah lounge yet. I rather fight the parking and go to Kush. Much better service there. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND read more
