Dr. Sellers herself is kind, personable, and pleasant to work with. Unfortunately, my experience with the practice was overshadowed by its office policies and administrative processes. I was scheduled for multiple appointments where little to no progress was made, yet each visit resulted in a substantial medical bill. After paying a deposit for custom orthotics, I waited months only to learn that they had never even begun the work or processed my scans. At each follow-up appointment, I was simply told to continue waiting, with no clear timeline or meaningful update. My final experience was particularly frustrating. After I finally received the orthotics, I had a midday follow-up appointment during the workweek. I spent over an hour in an Uber due to traffic and arrived late (World Cup traffic). Despite then waiting over an hour to see the doctor, I was told I would not be seen unless I paid the $120 visit fee upfront. I explained that I had accidentally left my wallet at home and asked if they could bill me, but they refused. While I have no complaints about Dr. Sellers personally, I found the practice's administrative policies to be inflexible, inefficient, and unnecessarily expensive. The front desk staff is not pleasant to deal with. Based on my experience, I would recommend looking at other podiatry practices in the San Francisco area unless you have a compelling reason to see this office. read more

Our family has been seeing Dr. Sellers for several years now in San Jose/Los Gatos, most primarily my son who was first young and now a teen with a variety of foot problems from chronic in-grown toenails to other congenital toe-shape issues requiring custom orthotics; then later my younger daughter with a plantar wart requiring many treatments. And me, on occasion when I find time to get myself foot care (mom life!), also with foot issues and orthotics. She got my kids through all of their various issues successfully enough that we haven't been in an several months. She is so kind and nice, always. She listens to my questions and explains things well. Our wait at the San Jose office has always been reasonable and the office staff competent to deal with. We have been there dozens and dozens of times. I recommend her without hesitation and did so for a family member with vary complicated foot issues who also had no complaints. I actually have a pretty painful issue return for the last few months which has left me limping and icing and hoping it would magically disappear on its how, but it has not. I haven't found time to get in to see her and was planning to after the new year. Which is why our entire family is truly devastated to learn she is leaving the South Bay and working exclusively in San Francisco. This review is long overdue, so I wanted to leave it as our "good bye and thank you." San Francisco, you are all really fortunate to have her. Back to square one for us! read more

Just before the Memorial Day holiday an ingrown toenail became a real problem. I called SVPG after finding them using a Yelp search and cross referencing against my insurance website. At first they did not have any openings, but then they were able to squeeze me in toward the end of the day. They were very professional and highly efficient. My toe was in need of minor surgery and it was done within an hour with superior technique. Office is modern and well equipped, staff had great sense of humor, and communicated well all details of the procedure. Highly recommended! read more

I came to see Dr. Sellers primarily because "bad feet" run in my family and I want to take extra precaution while I am still "young" to curb any looming major foot problems. It was very easy for me to schedule my appointment and she had availability that worked well with my schedule. Her staff is friendly and prompt in scheduling and answering insurance questions. Dr. Sellers' bedside manor is excellent, she was very friendly and I felt very comfortable asking questions. I never felt rushed during my appointment which is major for me! The verdict was that I have over pronation or "flat-feet" and the solution in my case was orthotics. She recommended that I schedule a follow-up to be casted for my custom molded orthotics; she eased my fear of having what I thought was going to be a major hampering on my vanity. When I came to pick up/fit my new "accessories" I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they were very thin and sleek looking (nothing like what I imagined) She even made a few suggestions of shoes/brands that work well with my type of feet and that are cute too! I would HIGHLY recommend her to any friend or family member in need of extensive or routine foot care. Dr. Sellers performed two surgeries on my right foot (toes), both of which left my toes worse than when I began. At some point in the process, she cut a tendon in my second toe, causing that toe to buckle upwards. I went through extensive physical therapy for this created problem, but it didn't help. I just completed extensive surgery on my foot by another local podiatrist. He succeeded in re-attaching the disconnected tendon and performed other reconstructive surgery. I am now facing long healing time for what started as a small issue. read more

Dr. Sellers is amazing!! Just reposting to her yelp specifically after reviewing the clinic she works at. I went in for an ingrown toenail that I avoided getting looked at for 2 months. It had become very infected. Dr. Sellers was gentle, kind, and professional when she met me. And she didn't make me feel like an idiot for trying to dig out the nail myself :) I've had to have 3 procedures done and every time she greets me with a big smile and checks in on how I'm feeling. She always makes sure I don't feel a thing and when she does the procedure shes quick and efficient. She also explains every step she takes so you're not lost about what's happening. I am 3 weeks post bunion surgery that was done by Sahra Sellers and her fantastic staff. After years of needing to do this surgery, I found Dr. Sellers who put me at ease about having the procedure. She and her staff are so positive and pleasant and no question is too simple or strange. The process was very streamlined, I have had zero complications and I'm well on my way to healing. I would highly recommend her and her staff as they have been amazing! Their office is very well run and efficient. The wait time is about 5 minutes before seeing the dr. They have an x-ray right in the office and they can show you all the results in minutes which was totally different than my last dr who had to wait for results from a lab then reschedule your appointment for results.
