I've eaten hundreds of tacos at Parrilla Mixteca, and every single time I visit Puerto, it's the very first stop I make. I've tried Al Pastor all over, and nothing else even comes close to theirs! The service is fantastic, and the staff couldn't be friendlier. Watching them work is a total art form, and they're cool enough to let you film videos of them preparing the food. The whole experience is as authentic as it gets--everything comes out insanely fast, and you can just keep adding to your tab as you eat before they tally it up at the end. Every now and then, street musicians will wander in to play a few tunes while you eat. The setup is pretty basic--just wooden tables, plastic chairs, and simple restrooms--but nobody comes here for luxury; you come for the mind-blowing food.
