I have been going here for several years and in the past year have gone down to very poor service and work. I recently had a pedicure and manicure and was one of he worst that I ever had service ever. Had to tell the tech what to do. Never cleaned the nails on pedicure. Never cleaned under the nails. On the manicure never soaked my nails. Had me dip my hands in cold water for 30 seconds. Also never really cleaned the nails. The tech rushed through like he was in a hurry Will never go back. Even though the staff is nice, the service is bad. I have been here 2 times, to give them the benefit of doubt, both times different staff took care of me for a mani/pedi and both times I have been disappointed. Nails for mani not shaped right and cuticle not cleaned. Pedi nail color that I picked was misplaced by staff, then found, when I realized the color that was applied to my toes, it wasn't even close to what I picked. This was the first time I went to the salon. I asked for manicure and then for them to touch up my gel on the nails and polish. My technician took off the old polish, reapplied new gel and painted. I looked at him and said, aren't you going to cut my cuticles and trim my cuticles? He said oh sure, and pulled out the scissors. Never put my hands to soak in the water and cut my cuticles. My daughter went in to have her nails done , busy week ahead , paid $75 bucks , to get uneven nails, not shaped the same , ragged edges , acrylic not even up to cuticles , nail glue left on fingers ! She left very upset , I called to let them know the situation, They said they would fix them but would take 2 hours ! I let them know that was not an option , she was leaving out of town , we asked for a refund , daughter went back in to get a refund , where she was asked to sit down , they clipped her nails off to the end of her fingers , she let them Know that it was hurting to have the thick acrylic clipped off . They were pretty booked but Jenny was able to squeeze us in for shellac pedis, and they ended up squeezing in some quick manis as well! This place gave me the worst set of nails I have ever seen. Each nail a different shape than the next, uneven surfaces and way too thick. The technician put three layers of gel over acrylic. I thought I could live with it until my husband saw them and asked if I did them myself and that it might be better to go to a professional. When I phoned the manager she said to come on in and she would take them off and put on new ones and make it right. But when I arrived she said she'd just leave them on and "fix" them and then started furiously filing at the sides of the nails, cutting into my finger and nail bed. When I asked her to stop she got angry with me. I told her I didn't want her to continue and started to walk out. She then stopped me and brought me over to another customer to try to shame me. So inappropriate, unprofessional and rude. In hindsight, I should have stuck with In And Out Nails in Ketchum (the best) and waited until I could get in. Lesson learned. read more

Ok, I have tried the salon 3 times and I truly believe they are only still open because they are only nail shop in town. Terrible job, they go so fast to get you in and out, The lotion is watered down, I looked at my hands on the way home and they were dry and cracked already. Never a smile and never a thank you. I made my appointment for a person that was referred to me and when I got there she wouldn't even look at me and I was stuck with another person that I never would have seen. They told me I did not have a appointment with the other person, just wanted to fill their hours so lied and put me with someone else. If I had not needed a manicure so bad I would have walked out. I have been going to Saigon for years. The experience and outcome has never been exceptional but they got the job done, especially in the winter. One of the big problems is that they over-book, so making an appointment is no guarantee that they will be prepared to take you in one time. When I was there the other day, 4 people came in and said they had reservations at the same time and all the ladies were in the middle of taking care of customers who had come in earlier. They were not close to being finished. I was 1/2 hours delayed, which is not unusual at Saigon Nails. If your time isn't an issue and you are willing to wait, they will fit you in eventually. They have someone new who doesn't seem to be well-trained. I feel like I need another mani-pedi tomorrow and I was there yesterday. Ask for someone who has worked there for at least a year. read more
