This was my first time at a teppanyaki believe it or not! I had only ever seen this in movies and…read morehad no idea that it's actually a resto style called teppanyaki. We were seated in the semi private area which has two tables and can accommodate 16 people comfortably... Maybe 2 more if you squeeze a bit. Drinks: I decided to embrace the unique experience by ordering a Ramune pop where you have to punch down a glass bead so that you can pour the soda. It's served into a glass with a lime flavored popsicle to give it extra flavor. Ordering: the way the menu works is that everyone gets the same things included with their meal. The only thing different is the protein ordered. - Onion broth: thin but oh so packed with umami flavor! - Salad: pretty good with light vinaigrette - Mushrooms: mmmhh fried and covered in soy sauce - Shrimp: delish and drown it in the tangy dipping sauce - Mixed Veggies: helps balance all the meatiness - Addictive ground ginger soy sauce: can eat this with everything! - Tangy chili sauce: love the flavor - Bowl of rice - Orange creamsicle ice cream: yay for ice cream! - Cup of Jasmine tea: wash down all that flavor The meats: with 3 choices of beef from least to most expensive--Beef Samurai, Sirloin, Filet Mignon. I went middle of the road with the sirloin but was able to taste the filet mignon off my friend's plate. Conclusion: filet mignon cut up in cubes had a rich beefy flavor that comes from the fat in the meat that is seared. It's really good, super tender and juicy. The sirloin also cooked and cubed has a flatter taste but still really tender and delicious. If budget is not an issue, go with the filet mignon, your taste buds will be singing! Staff was friendly and polite. The cooks, depending who you get make their own jokes to entertain you while cooking. Our cook did this knife flipping thing with his chef's knife into it's holster several times like it was nothing. I could just envision myself trying that and losing fingers and toes in the process!!! Overall, it's just a touch pricey but I loved the experience! We were all very satisfied. It's good sized portions guaranteeing that nobody will leave hungry. The place filled up by 6pm where every table was occupied. I will go back again!

You can also order to go here I believe. They really operate efficiently, expect fast service! Tables are tightly situated and there's a cozy bar situation where I sat this time, able to watch the chefs cook right in front of me. The daily specials are posted on their Instagram page, as well as written on pieces of paper around the restaurant. My server quickly helped me to water and a glass of sake. I placed a to go order for one of the daily specials, the grilled sea bass with sushi rice and salad, with some kimchi. I also ordered the BBQ chicken with tortilla and salad, as well as vegetable gyoza. Everything was incredible. Truly. The gyoza came topped with green onions and was SO crispy and hot and was perfect with their soy sauce. I thought sea bass was wonderful with a unique almost smoky flavor that melted in my mouth paired with the slightly sweet sticky rice. The barbecue chicken was great as well and better the next day. One thing I don't really understand is why they served plain flour tortillas cut into quarters with their food. We didn't utilize this, nor the white butter/mayo sauce that came alongside it. I hope to eat here often, for years to come and am so happy to see this iconic Japanese restaurant still thriving years later.

From what I noticed the menu is the same from Tuesday to Thursday and then they have a separate menu for Friday to Sunday. Some of the rolls were different then other all you can eat places so we tried those. For the weekly menu they do not offer sashimi only nigiris. The price per person is approximately 28$ tax in. I definitely recommend this place. Service was really good and the food was coming out pretty fast. The sushi and the fried stuff were to our liking. We had to call to get reservations because they don't have a website but when we went it seemed like ppl were coming in without reservations The only bad thing about this place was the ice cream, I got the green tea ice cream but it has a powdery feeling/ taste. Which I don't recommend. This place is good for small groups. I would go back definitely

Half the sushi's were good typical AYCE quality, the other half were pretty bad, greasy fried bits, not fresh and crispy. AVOID syake tempura and crevette tempura (huge ball of greasy fried fish), crispy maki, original futomaki, tori age, dragon eye. DO TRY maki de tartar and exotique. The service was very good and quick no complaints there.
