My first experience at this store will also be my last. I…read morebrought in 27 items to sell, and none of them were accepted. All of my items were in excellent condition and from well-known name brands. The manager told me they were declined because they had gone out of style. I find that difficult to believe, especially after looking around the store and seeing clothing that appeared to be older in style than the items I brought in. Based on what I observed, the explanation I was given did not seem consistent with the merchandise currently being sold. While that was disappointing, I understand that resale stores have their own buying criteria. The bigger issue was that when I got home, I realized my suede belt was missing. I called the store, and the employees said they would check thoroughly and speak with the manager, since she was the one who had gone through my items. One of the sales associates even asked the manager to call me, but she refused. When I eventually spoke with the manager, she denied ever seeing the belt with my jacket and skirt and simply said she was sorry, without offering any effort to investigate further or resolve the situation. I'm extremely disappointed--not only were none of my items accepted, but one of my belongings was lost, and the customer service afterward was very poor. Based on this experience, I won't be returning and cannot recommend this store.

And yet my brand name and designer items are rejected. I'm happy to tell anyone how bizarre this place has been, including the rude staff. Edit: they offered to buy one mint condition designer item for $150, which would have sold for $900 retail second-hand. I turned around and sold it to Oliver Jewelry the next day for $550. Seller beware!

We arranged to buy an expensive ($3k+) cargo bike, tricked out with all sorts of kid-related accoutrement. We said at the beginning that we were nervous about buying a bike in Burlington and living in Toronto, but they had the Milano we wanted and Andrew assured that they were in Toronto "all the time" offering mobile service and deliveries and that this would not be a problem. It has been a problem. The good cheer and helpfulness available on sales day vanished shortly thereafter. They delivered our bike (and charged us for it), with the wrong cover attached and told us we would need to return the cover ourselves if we wanted a new one. When we tried to book our promised free-in-the-first-year service and get replacement lights because the factory one fell apart we were sent an invoice for nearly $500 - the free service was suddenly not available. First we were told it was because we had to have it in the first six months, then were told it was because we had to do it at the shop. To be clear, this would mean either riding the 100lb bike 50km to Burlington for service or paying someone to transport it there. The short answer is that we really wish we hadn't bought a bike so far away - the owners promises to make sure we were cared for even though we lived in the city never materialized at all. Maybe this place would be great if you lived around the corner, but I can't trust a shopkeeper who will over-promise or say anything to get the sale and then shrug his shoulders. A real let down.

When you walk up to the store, there is a staff member at the door. You can either wait in line or you can put your name and number down like a reservation and they text you when it's your turn to come back. For a location like this one, it makes total sense because you can walk up and down lakeshore while you're waiting. The in-store experience was great. They have ample amount of staff working the floor and cash. It was a Saturday, so I knew it would be busy but I was able to try on items with no issues and the process to make my exchanges was seamless.
