And we are both extremely satisfied with our purchases. No buyer's remorse this time, the deals are too good and the clothes are nice. Of course BR isn't for everyone but it's a great place to buy business and business casual attire. So if you are planing to "dress for success" then I recommend this place. Typically BR is a little out of my price range but this particular BR is an outlet store, so everything is a minimum 30% off from what I've seen. Most of the clothes I bought were 50% off and I had an addition 20% off from a coupon. So needless to say I went nuts buying clothes but it's good. Especially if you're a twice-a-year shopper like me (once for winter clothing and once for summer clothing). The store itself is nicely laid out with plenty of change rooms, so you never really have to wait for a change room. Near the back they have a clearance section which contains many hidden gems if you have the patience look through all the clothes for your size. Overall I love this place. It's located in heartland centre so there are plenty of other outlet stores nearby. Not to mention a Costco and an LCBO ;) I will be back here same time next year. Hopefully they keep up the sweet deals and the nice clothes.

There was Payless, which would be cheap, but maybe not the best selection. I remember hearing that DSW had opened some locations in Canada, so I figured I'd go with a store that I'm familiar with. So this place is precisely what like any other DSW is in the US. Men's shoes on the left, Ladies' on the right, clearance racks in the back, and various accessories and such all over. So if you've been to a DSW in the US, you know what you're looking for. Now, perhaps the expectation for some people is that "D" stands for Discount. This is sort of true and sort of not. If you want a deal, you look in the clearance racks. For the most part what is good about DSW is the variety of options and price ranges. It's not a warehouse full of cheap shoes. I ended up spending a good half hour looking for a pair that would feel good and look good with what I was wearing, and I made it out of the store for under $30 for a decent pair of shoes. So 3 stars for a bog-standard DSW experience. I was a little bit disappointed that my DSW card doesn't transfer across the border, that was a little disappointing considering other cards (like Costco) do. In the Heartland Outlet centre, you have a lot of choices of stores to go spend your money. Some…read moreof these stores are great as they're offering good deals and great service and others are just fake outlets with regular retail prices (points to Gap). Geox is the former. In most malls, Geox is a mid to high end brand that caters to the family. You can find men's business shoes, women's heels and flats, and kid shoes of all kinds (boots, running shoes, and formal dressier shoes). Often they're priced at $80++ for the kids shoes! but at this outlet, you can find deals galore and also a wide range of sizes. There's two parts to this outlet, the front section is just like the regular retail store. It shares the same current season offerings at regular price point. Sometimes you'll find a 'door crasher' in the centre upfront where some awesome deals can be found. The outlet area takes up about 60% of the floor space in the back. There you find relatively current (last seasons) items at 40 to 75% off the retail price. Often during the end of season sales, you'll have a greater reduction on those outlet shoes. I've gotten pair of shoes for 85% off at times or buy 2 and get a further 25% off! Considering these shoes are very well made and with great soft leathers, it's a steal to get them at those prices. I really also like the service. There's always at least 2 to 3 people here and they're constantly asking if you need help but not in an intrusive way. If you say you're fine, they back off but once you ask, they're always on the look out for you for alternative sizes and styles. Overall, I think it's one of the few places in Heartland that offer great shoe deals with good selection and a high quality product without feeling you're at a bargin bin store. As long as they keep up with the great season end deals (85% off!), I'll keep coming back.
