They carry many popular brands such as Converse, UGGs, Birkenstock, etc. I purchased a pair of yellow Converse All Stars online that were on sale and received an additional 10% discount as it was the first time shopping there. I opted to have the shoes shipped to the Sherway store and, surprisingly, it was really busy in there. The sales associates were very friendly, helpful and processed my order quickly. A couple of weeks later, I noticed the shoes were further marked down so I contacted Customer Service to ask if they would honour the sale price. They were so easy to deal with; I was told just take the receipt in and they would make an adjustment. They even gave me another promo code so I could still receive the 10% discount. I went to store and the sales associate processed the transaction really quickly - no headaches whatsoever. I paid $40 taxes in - what an amazing deal! Some other Canadian retailers should consider following suit of SoftMoc policies and procedures.

In Canada a store must honour an advertised price which they refused to do so. I had picked out a pair of shoes and asked for a size.m, when I tried them on and I liked them I went to pay and was charged 149.99 but the advertised price was 129.99. When I went to show them the shoes they had already removed the price tag when I gave it to them but the plastic tag was there and the paper price tag with the price was on the floor. I spoke to the store manager, Yvonne and she was beyond useless and has 0 customer service. She refused to fix the situation insinuating that I was lying. And even when I called customer support line they said the store decision was final. This is illegal and I will make sure everyone is aware of this store actions and make sure no one goes through this again.

The pricing has been competitive at this location, but shipping they do sneak a fake insurance guarantee for a few dollars. When things are on sale, stock does go out. Please change the name. …read more What used to be a fairly popular store for tall sizes and large feet has radically slimmed down its selection of made-for-Tall waist and coat and jacket sizes, and we can see all footwear has been eliminated. This is a disaster. Some years ago I'd spend thousands and thousands of dollars at this chain of stores. I'd spontaneously buy things I found there at reg price just because they fit well and looked good. GR actually helped me (6'-6", 36 waist, 15 shoe) build a decent casual fashion wardrobe for some years. and I scooped most anything they stocked that could use, as did other tall slim locals like me (it was competitive and sizes went fast.) Now this is a dead store for me. :-( Not bitter, and thanks GR for the help in years past. It was a uniquely helpful experience for tall men.

The best way to ask for a refund or get some service is to use their email, which again, works best if you send during business hours...it takes a long time for them to respond and to provide any type of credit. One a couple shirts, buttons fell off after only a few washes. On another shirt, the button was sewn on securely, but incorrectly. That's fine, in that you'd never really notice unless looking closely, but it speaks to the inconsistency and lack of quality control. A lot of the negative reviews are very negative due to quality or service issues. I think, if you keep in mind that you're getting mediocre quality and mediocre service, you can get very good deals here, but you have to understand that quality and service are both going to be hit or miss.

You can find some more traditional items here too: blazers, suits, ties, sweaters, pants, etc. However, you won't find any shoes or traditional English overcoats like you might at Rego, Harry Rosen, Indochino or Proper Cloth. Also, just be VERY sure about what you buy. This is the only reason I won't give a five star rating. For understandable reasons for a small business, they're reluctant to give refunds if you purchase something and change your mind later. They're happy to give you store credit for most returns, but they probably won't refund you if you change your mind. Ignore the return policy at the end of your receipt, treat anything you buy here as a final sale, and you won't be disappointed. Everything they carry is high quality and they only sell new, never-before-worn clothes.
