Whether you like (award winning) beer and seltzer, or spirits, there is something for you. Their craft cocktails are creative and tasty, and they have new beers to try all the time. I am so grateful that this is our "neighborhood" bar where everyone knows our names.

Their locally made spirits are fantastic, and the cocktail menu is seriously impressive. The Astoria Bourbon cocktails are excellent, with everything from a classic Old Fashioned to some really creative options. The Ascend Vodka drinks are just as good, and the Jenkins Creek Gin cocktails are fresh, flavorful, and incredibly well crafted. You can tell they put real thought into the ingredients, presentation, and balance of every drink. We tried The Springs, and it was as fun as it was delicious. The presentation with the little duck was perfect! If you come to Marker 48 for the beer, absolutely take a look at the cocktail menu too. Having locally made bourbon, vodka, gin, and rum turned into cocktails this good makes this place something special. Definitely one of Brooksville's gems.

My husband and son said the guy's bathroom was very clean too. Our server was very friendly, I forgot his name but he's been working there he mentioned since they opened. We loved his suggestions for the appetizers we ordered. We will be back more often since this place is only a few miles from home!

However, it is nice that this is conveniently located just off of US 19. That said, this is a great, quick bar type atmosphere with good food. They have a onion appetizer that is similar to the blooming onion at Steakhouse's. It is fabulous. They also have drink specials like a rocket pop during specific holidays and are quite tasty. Conveniently located behind steak 'n Shake in the Publix plaza. Indoor seating is air-conditioned and they have booths, which are nice when you're with family wanting conversation. Outdoor area is shaded and has a TV in a breeze (wish they'd clean up the trash in the retention pond because it takes away from this experience). Still, the food, selection, quality, and drinks special shells have brought us back on occasion.

They have probably 7 draft beers which is always my goto. Decor is mild and they serve food. I at the recommendation of another Yelper tried the smoked beef brisket sandwich. They meat literally melts in your mouth and is exceptionally delicious and comes with fries. I thought the price was a little steep at $10 based on the size but never the less it was delicious. I enjoyed a good conversation and exceptional service with the Owner Kevin. He has definitely earned my business and I look forward to trying out the Ruben bratwurst next....more reviews to follow...I'll be back again for sure.

Kevin personally prepares every dish - I love the low smoked brisket and pulled pork they just melt in your mouth. The Black & Blue burger has real blue cheese crumbles.... where can you get that with a cold draft beer in Brooksville? From time to time, Kevin even runs specials with locally grown natural pork and beef from small Hernando county farms. He's a real community kind of guy like that. You never know if you're going to be part of a benefit to raise money for kayaks for a Church, or a live concert with professional musicians, or maybe a bike run. But, there's always something going on at the Way Station! It's one of the last outposts of the traditional neighborhood spot.
