Love Susie's - service is great and breakfast choices are wonderful!!!!! Plenty of seating!

Back again yesterday. Came in at my grandsons' request. They love the fact that they can get anything, at any time. Many restaurants offer breakfast all day. Susie's offers other food even have breakfast. I love the fact that we don't typically have to wait, even today when things are expensive - the prices are fair - and there are so many choices. It has been a long time since I updated my My Review of Susie's Grill. They still have fantastic food. I usually come in and get My Favorite. The two eggs, home fries, toast, and jam and country fried steak. Some things never change and this is one of them. It's my favorite dish and it's very filling. I posted updated menu photos for you. After not visiting for a long time we decided to visit and get a late breakfast/early lunch. The exterior hasn't changed but the interior is being remodeled. Unfortunately it has stayed open while the floors are being replaced so we walked on concrete floors where there used to be tile. The surface is uneven and I was uneasy walking on it. The menu hasn't changed and the waitress is still very friendly. Hopefully the refresh will be completed soon. read more

Cute building and nice parking lot. Very clean and spacious diner with bar in the back. Great menu with so many choices for any time of the day! Reasonable prices too. We opted for omelettes- cheese, green pepper and onion and a ham and cheese. They are huge and so good!! Hash browns and home fries are amazing!! We have ordered many times from here, our go to is the Pasta and meatsauce and the spanakopita with Greek salad is another favorite. We primarily order delivery/takeout. Today I tried the Monterey Chicken and it wasn't my favorite. The chicken was thin and dry. I did not realize it was smothered in cheese, bacon, and fried onions, the menu did not have a description. Taste was okay but the cheese layer was thicker than the chicken. I Got veggies and turned out to be super garlicy broccoli, not my thing, and soup (something cream based with noodles, white beans, and bacon- again, not my thing). Getting a salad or soup is inconsistent, sometimes they give it to us, sometimes they don't, and whatever one we get is random. Haven't been a fan of any of the soups and when I do order one, I never know what's coming. I still enjoy Susie's but will probably go back to our usuals. Wish the menu offered a good description for each item so there wouldn't be any surprises. read more

Came here for breakfast. Very diverse menu, which I loved! Lots of indoor seating options. Unfortunately, no outdoor seating. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with two over medium eggs. Susie's HAS to do something about the side dishes they offer with the dinner entrees! It started with NOT being able to get any side dish on the menu. NOOO, you must pick only a HOT side (potato or veggie of the day). You CANNOT have ANY cold side, like Cole slaw, potato salad, etc. However, for the past several trips to Susie's, when I order my favorite Stuffed Fish Supreme entree, I have ordered a HOT side of pasta, which was allowed. All of a sudden, tonight I could NOT order pasta as a hot side. They absolutely refused to take the order with pasta. So I guess I need to re-think Susie's when I'm craving Stuffed Fish Supreme. read more

So yes under construction not a problem improvement are always a plus. But as we walked in the register lady didn't look up at us, was acknowledged by the employees like they were infront of a fireing squad. It was so much for them to even speak to us. We walked out!!! This is my first time to Susie's Grill, but it certainly wont be the last! I had lunch with a family member and she had breakfast and I had THE BEST chicken sandwich I've ever had, bar none! It was grilled to perfection, topped with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and onions on a Kaiser bun. It was so divine! The place has the rustic feel of an older diner, which is nostalgic to me in many ways. I will be back! read more

We were not expecting to be wowed by the potato skins, but these weren't frozen, they were fresh hollowed out large potatoes and they were perfectly fried and filled with sour cream, bacon, and cheese. Great family owned place for any meal. Food is always consistent and good. We mostly frequent for breakfast but they do honor our request for a tuna melt during the morning rush. The food comes out super fast! The eggplant parm omelette is awesome and if you like meatballs, you will love theirs. They are huge so make sure you share. We had been to Susies a couple of times for breakfast but decided we'd try it for dinner tonight. We were very surprised at how good the food was and how nice our waitress, Heather, was to us. Had a great conversation with the young lady at the front desk and she made our evening even more special. We will now make it one of our go to places in the future. We were in the area and thought we would give this place a try. We probably won't be back. We typically like to give a place at least a couple of tries, but this one will probably be one and done. We went in around 1pm for a couple apps to hold us over for dinner. I ordered a house salad and potato skins and my husband ordered 2 chicken quesadillas. Not only did my salad come out with all the apps, it had a black hair curled on the side of the bowl. The server asked if she could replace it, but I passed. The skins were very, very bland; Most of them lacked cheese and bacon. The quesadillas had a good amount of chicken, but lacked cheese.
