Gayle and I had a wonderful shore-line tour of the Barcelona waterfront one beautiful evening last month. When our travel agent first suggested it, I was a little wary as we'd done previous "schlock tourist experience" before, including Fado music in Lisbon and an over-the-top "Don't Cry for me Argentina"/Tango show in Buenos Aires. Our agent assured us that this was a nice boat trip, with a laid back guitar performance, great views, and tasty snacks with adult beverages.
Our sailing experience was all that and more. One bonus was some really great conversations with fellow passengers, which helped make the evening timeless. It was also nice to have weather on our side and very little rough water. The guitarist was pleasant and the rest of the crew were friendly and attentive. I'd recommend this excursion to anyone. read more
