Around 9:00 p.m., I took my younger cousins to the food court to get something to eat and distract them from everything that was happening. While getting a bottle of water from one of the refrigerators, my finger was suddenly slammed in the door, immediately turning purple. The pain was intense. When I checked out at the register, I explained what had happened to the cashier. Rather than showing concern, the cashier chuckled and simply asked whether I needed ice. No incident report was created, and no one appeared to care about what had happened. That same night, my aunt passed away, so my focus was understandably on my family rather than the injury to my finger. However, the pain became severe, and I was unable to sleep because the nerve pain was shooting up my entire arm. The following day, I returned to the hospital and spoke with a manager in the food court. I explained what had occurred and asked why no incident report had been filed. The manager contacted security, and I was escorted to the emergency room to have my finger evaluated. I was treated by Dr. Fiscus, who had to burn a hole in my fingernail to relieve the blood buildup. Upon discharge, I signed paperwork and was informed by a staff member that St. Agnes Hospital would be covering the bill because the accident had occurred in the food court. Despite this assurance, I have continued to receive bills from Vituity and Trinity and have spent considerable time speaking with multiple people who now claim that St. Agnes is not responsible. I am extremely disappointed that a hospital with a religious mission has handled this situation in such an uncaring and inconsistent manner. I feel that I was misled regarding responsibility for my medical expenses, and I am especially concerned that I was never contacted by Risk Management despite being told that the matter would be addressed. I am requesting that someone from Risk Management contact me as soon as possible to discuss this incident and provide clarification regarding the outstanding bills related to the injury that occurred on hospital property.

DENISE was the nurse in charge of overall care for my dad after his week of having a heart attack, an angioplasty, a day later sent to St Agnes for a double Stent procedure, then back to Kaiser for recovery and later his discharge from Kaiser. Whew... she was absolutely amazing throughout our hospital ordeal with my 92 year old Korean War Era Veteran father. He is hard of hearing with a beginning onset of dementia. Not necessarily an easy patient to care for at times... She was the RN in charge of that 4th floor cardiac section over seeing multiple patients, room changes (dad age 92 had 2 changes himself 418 to 403 in order to provide him better care and personal security) as well as various other challenges coming from all sides. Throughout it all, Denise and her staff maintained a Profesional, Caring and Friendly experience. She quietly calmed all our fears, explained procedures time and again, and encouraged us with her smiling and easy going manner. She scooted from room to room, keyboard to keyboard and conferred with Dr's., Staff and other hospital divisions regarding Kaiser patient's needs both in person and on the phone. 10 STARS FOR HER EXCELLENCE , PATIENT SUPPORT, AND PERSONAL HEARTFELT CARING ACTIONS!!! Ron was the officer in charge of ID badges for hospital entry and security. He was our first morning contact with Kaiser that week and he was always soft spoken, kind hearted and patient. Mom is 92 and he always had a smile and compliment for her making her smile all the way to the elevator door. Kudos to all. Yes, I must admit as in any hospital stay there were a few snags with an occasional speedbump with a narcissistic Dr. But... overall, a very positive experience, especially with ALL the nursing staff. At discharge time, Denise would again answer our new questions and give recommendations for dad's home care which had us look more closely into dad's medical history for the best treatment and healing techniques for him. HER awesome people/nursing skills kept this review Positive!!! 10 STARS rating. Denise is a definite asset to your medical/nursing staff. My child has ran out of medication and the refill got sent back to the pharmacy location in Northern California therefore we never received the order. Last week I went to the pharmacist and let them know and I asked him to call and assist me further and they gave me a flyer to call the automatic system. My issue still hasn't been resolved I still require medication for my child. I'm waiting to receive correspondence back to resolve the issue. Definitely have patience with guys I don't know how they sent money the medication to the wrong address and the sent back to the pharmacy mail order dept. Kaiser Permanente requires the work better on their customer service experience with the customers in person and over the phone.

We are so lucky to have a hospital dedicated to children! The nurses here are serious about their…read morejob and they are thorough with the patient teaching. Taking care of children and making sure their parents are okay also is a tough job so I give it to them. My toddler was very calm and laughed with the nurse that took him in. I was sad and happy at the same time that he was not scared and comfortable. The waiting room for parents had complimentary snacks and water. There's also a free charging station for any type of phone. Vending machine for other snacks. You can leave and come back if need to step out. For privacy every parent had a special code to see their child's progress. I hope other parents get the same experience and care as I felt.

She notified radiology that I needed my images asap so I could keep my appt with Ortho. About 30 minutes after speaking with her my images results were submitted to MyChart!! Amazing!!! I went back to FH&SH to sign a release and later that evening I received a call stating my images/disc would be available for pick up next day in the morning. The girl who helped me at the front desk (wish I caught her name) was also very helpful and sweet!! She made sure my forms had all the necessary info and caught an error I made!! Thanks doll!! 8/5: I show up at 8am and my disc is brought out by yet another kind individual (Ana I think). Your staff at this hospital goes above and beyond!! I'm so thankful for everyone who has helped me this week!! Thanks to all of you I'm able to see orthopedic this afternoon. This is my first fracture so I'm a bit nervous and on edge. I want to make sure the bone heals properly to prevent future issues. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing empathy and making me feel cared for!! You then sit and wait which is usual for any ER. but they take you back then send you to the lobby way too many times. Call you, take labs in the hallway, send you back to the lobby.. ER Doc calls you in asks you the same questions as triage..back to lobby... Then you go back and they tell you there's no room for guests so you leave your sick family member alone and are told to check back every TWO HOURS!!! Been here since 11:00am... it's 4:33pm still not seen, still waiting to see if my wife is doing ok. We have insurance. Sadly this is the second time this has occurred. The first time I checked and it showed that I missed an appointment with my cardiologist. I had not. I called my cardiologist and spoke too them and that I had not missed the appointment. I didn't send an email fun fact you can't call anybody to get it corrected to have it corrected I never received a response back. I again called my cardiologist they said I had not missed the appointment I sent another email out and again no response Fast forward to now on the 25th of January 2023 I had another appointment with my cardiologist which I kept. So when I checked my healthmate what did I find, that I had missed my appointment. This could be detrimental in so many ways doctors review that and if it's a new position they look to see if you have kept your appointments. As far as I can tell My HealthMate cannot correct the problem. You cannot get a hold of anyone no one knows how to contact them no one knows who is putting in the information. Has anyone else had this problem with Fresno community medical center and my healthmate? At this information is incorrect on my medical file how do I know that the information that is in there is correct? How do I know that's a system has a bug in it?
