I read all of these negative comments about this hospital, especially the guy who said he waited…read morehours for an ultrasound and blood draw. I wish people could realize the massive volume of patients this hospital sees on a daily basis and the massive area (the entire Central Valley) this hospital covers. On top of the high number of patients being seen, this hospital takes the sickest of the sickest patients, other hospitals send their sick patients to CRMC. So I'm sorry u had to wait a long time for an ultrasound, but your ultrasound was pretty low on the priority list that day I'm sure. The person who prob just got crushed in a car accident took priority. Everyone thinks their problem is the worst and should be high priority. Yes the wait times can be long in the ER, but that is not the hospitals fault. 1- the hospital is severely understaffed and do not have enough rooms to put all these patients due to under funded. And 2- too many people use this ER instead of going to their doctors or some sort of clinic, causing point 1 to worsen. Someone who's nose is congested or another whose pinkie toe hurts does not need to come to this ER. So this all adds up to long wait times. And guess what, no hospital is known for their quick ER visits. I've also read comments where people give 1 star because of the food. Well guess what, most hospitals aren't known for their stellar menu. This hospital can hold over 850 patients, and when u have any sort of mass production of food, the quality of said food will go down. So take away crappy food and long wait times, I would not go to any other hospital , actually even with the crappy food and long wait times. The knowledge base of doctors and nurses at CRMC far surpasses any other hospital in the valley...especially their sister hospital clovis community. So before leaving crappy comments, a 1 star and complaints, please think about the whole picture.

This action was required to pick up my son's medication that was running out and needed to be ordered due to no refills left at home. I really communicated with my son's primary care physician team and they email me right away the same day to let me know that the prescription has been filled and to pick up the item at the pharmacy before closing. Once I arrive and Kaiser Permanente and Fresno Medical Center I was able to find available parking go inside with the air conditioning and weights on the pharmacy line to pick up orders.

They made sure they did every test to rule out what it could be and can't be. I thought we were gonna be waiting in the waiting room for a long time, but we got seen right away after being put in a bed in the hallway! A nurse checked her vitals seen how lethargic she was and literally picked her up off the gurney for me because I was 9 months pregnant and carried her into a room to get her monitored. I'm so thankful for that nurse because seeing my baby like that was so scary. I recommend bringing your babies here when they are sick!

You then sit and wait which is usual for any ER. but they take you back then send you to the lobby way too many times. Call you, take labs in the hallway, send you back to the lobby.. ER Doc calls you in asks you the same questions as triage..back to lobby... Then you go back and they tell you there's no room for guests so you leave your sick family member alone and are told to check back every TWO HOURS!!! Sadly this is the second time this has occurred. The first time I checked and it showed that I missed an appointment with my cardiologist. I had not. I called my cardiologist and spoke too them and that I had not missed the appointment. I didn't send an email fun fact you can't call anybody to get it corrected to have it corrected I never received a response back. I again called my cardiologist they said I had not missed the appointment I sent another email out and again no response Fast forward to now on the 25th of January 2023 I had another appointment with my cardiologist which I kept. So when I checked my healthmate what did I find, that I had missed my appointment. This could be detrimental in so many ways doctors review that and if it's a new position they look to see if you have kept your appointments. As far as I can tell My HealthMate cannot correct the problem. You cannot get a hold of anyone no one knows how to contact them no one knows who is putting in the information. Has anyone else had this problem with Fresno community medical center and my healthmate? At this information is incorrect on my medical file how do I know that the information that is in there is correct? How do I know that's a system has a bug in it?
