    Engineered hardwood flakes, splinters
    Kathleen N.

Purchased home in August 2018. I regret this purchase. The quality of the home is disappointing. Drawer fronts come off, engineered hardwood splinters and flakes. Bowed walls, windows and doors do not close. The warranty department is a joke. The items that were to be taken care of prior to close, never were fixed. The warranty guy came and attempted to fix plates on doors with Swiss Army knife. Guess what? The damn door still does not latch! Money pit!

My haul from digging in the front yard in limited spots.

I see someone else has reported landscaping issues. I have been dealing with a lawn fungus the last 3 years. Lawn disease occurs when the root system is not healthy. I was informed by a neighbor that our two lots were a dumping ground and sure enough I have been digging up constant chunks of concrete out of the year while trying to reseed. Shovel goes in about 2-3 inches and clunk! Disgusting quality. Maybe a landscaping firm is more at fault, but accountability starts at the top and their decisions on who they contract. Also dealing with poor wiring that pops fuses in my fuse box. Temporary fix is taping off certain light switches from being flipped.

Nothing good to say....They leave you with so much to dela with. I addressed an issue with the need of a retaining wall and even though the city didn't require one the right thing to do would've been to have one installed. I expressed this over and over and over even before signing for the house. They laid straw tubes and called it a day. I told them one day my house would flood amd guess what.....

Also Tralon Homes. Run, don't walk away from this builder. We've had more problems with a new home than we had with our 50 year old home.

Well, the rental house we really wanted (and are still currently in) just so happened to be managed by Dorman and I can say with the fullest sincerity that we couldn't be more impressed, thrilled, and grateful for the AMAZING service/relationship we've cultivated with such an outstanding company! We're especially grateful for Rachelle, whose ongoing assistance, patience, and understanding is unbelievably astounding! Raegan has also been delightful to work with so a HUGE thank you to the both of them... they truly rock! I feel as if we're slightly high-maintenance renters, specifically as it relates to our rental renewals. Despite that fact, Rachelle has NEVER once made us feel like a burden (when surely, we must be, at least a little). What's more, last year when local rent prices were through the roof, we were absolutely certain that our rent would skyrocket when we renewed as the lease clearly states that renewal rates can adjust in accordance with current market values. We were flabbergasted to find that Dorman did not raise our rent one penny!!! No joke, this is one amazing company with even more amazing employees! I wouldn't hesitate for a minute renting from and/or recommending Dorman to anyone looking for a good, honest rental company. Thank you Dorman, sincerely, thank you! 6/17/25 UPDATE: I absolutely needed to share yet another "perk" of renting from Dorman. We've recently had two repair issues needing professionals (one major- fridge leak, and one kinda minor-garage door chain snapped). Well, BOTH maintanace requests we entered in their handy-dandy portal and voila, literally first thing the NEXT DAY we had one of their contracted repairman/maintenance companies contact us and prioritize our call to come and fix!!! Who do I so sincerely thank for such crazy good service!?? Anywho, that's the update, further proving that you can't loose if you rent from Dorman!

COMMERCIAL OWNERS BEWARE: I am a real estate attorney, and I do not make this statement lightly. In…read moremy experience, Dorman's performance as a commercial property manager reflects a consistent failure to exercise basic professionalism, sound judgment, and clear communication. Throughout our tenancy, communication was reactive rather than proactive, key control practices were deficient, and routine administrative matters were handled in a way that created unnecessary conflict rather than resolution. Even when issues were raised directly and early, they were either ignored or addressed only after they escalated. Commercial property management requires competence, documentation discipline, and a working understanding of lease enforcement. When those fundamentals are absent, owners--not tenants--ultimately bear the cost. Price does not compensate for poor management. Even if this service were free, I would not recommend it to a commercial property owner who values risk management, tenant stability, and professional oversight.

You can tell this company is built on accountability and care. When I had a small issue with check-in, they not only answered within minutes but actually created a follow-up process so it wouldn't happen again. That's rare. Housekeeping was hotel-level--clean, staged, and consistent across multiple homes I stayed in. They clearly invest in training and inspections instead of cutting corners. The maintenance team is just as sharp: when I reported a hot tub issue, it was fixed the same day. I also noticed their little touches--personalized guest letters, local recommendations, even managing trash service so owners and guests don't have to think about it. Those details don't just "happen"--they come from a company that's obsessed with doing things the right way. If you want a short-term rental that feels like someone actually thought about you--your comfort, your time, your experience--book with Renjoy. I've stayed with other companies in Colorado Springs, but this is the only one that consistently makes me feel like a valued guest, not just a transaction. A locally built company, run with integrity, and it shows.

The hot tub was fully broken (one of the main reasons we picked the rental) and the house was filthy. See pix I uploaded. - The worst mattresses imaginable. They do everything they can to push you to (what feels like) an AI chatbot in their app. Trying to find and connect by phone was a nightmare. And, when I did, the agent wanted me to take a million photos; flip a circuit breaker; and basically be the on-site maintenance person before she would call and send someone out. It was infuriating. On the plus side, the maintenance person was a great and was determined to get us up and running no matter what! I have stayed in dozens of short-term rentals. I own a short-term rental in Colorado. I would NEVER stay in another place managed by Renjoy or consider them as managers of my property.

I was with you too. I'm giving them two stars, because really it seems to be just Jorgette and Boris attempting to run this business, while training new staff constantly. When we were looking for a rental home, Boris was great. He was very straight forward and friendly to me. When we made the decision to sign the lease, Jorgette was cordial, but very matter-of-fact and strictly focused on business. You will not get that warm, touchy-feely vibe here, if that's what you are looking for. Renting is stressful on all ends. If this company could perhaps focus on developing its staff to reduce turn-over and treating tenants with a bit more dignity, kindness and appreciation, it could be an awesome company. Their office is super cute, and it seems a lot of homeowners use them as their property management agency. What they are lacking is that warm, caring face and/or voice behind the counter and/or telephone. They are lacking personality and charm. They seem to only be in it for the profit. Luckily, we escaped the life of paying someone else's mortgage and maintaining someone else's property. Perhaps one day we'll see at least some of our security deposit, or at least know why we haven't/aren't getting it back. We left our rental in much better shape than we found it. There are still plenty of good people out there that care. As of right now, I don't feel this company does.

Customer service has hit a low here. ---update-- they are definitely back on track. I have seen significant improvements in the last 6 months or so. From a personal standpoint, I will be selling my home within the next year and three years or so ago I would have used Colorado Casa as my seller.
