One time I called newport and they said the car will arrive in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later there was no car so I called again. Dispatch said that a car to pick me up had not even been located yet. The car finally came after an hour of waiting in the cold. This is just one story. I do not recommend. Also, most of the drivers I've dealt with are ok. It's not so much the drivers (some of them are rude and are no good) the real problem is dispatch and the car company. They make the drivers pick up as many people as they can and run around in circles and make people late like I said above. Most of the drivers are ok I am not placing the blame on them, the problem is the company.

The operator informed me that my ride was across town picking someone else up and it would take 25 minutes to get to me. In total, I waited forty-five minutes for a ride that never showed up. I had to call a taxi and pay $45 to get to my location. Totally unacceptable and unreliable. Unfortunately, I live in Staten Island where Newport is the only broker. Avoid Newport Car Service at all costs.

Precision has been in business 18 years, and the company I went with has been in business longer. Precision's price quote was much higher than the competition and was for a Cadillac or Volvo sedan, not the beautiful new black SUV that picked up my girlfriend. Lastly, the professional chauffer that was our driver, was impeccably dressed in a black suit and tie. Our driver had over 30 years experience as a licensed, professional chauffer. I was unable to carry our bigger luggage because of a recent rib injury but our driver readily got them from our home to the car then from the car to the station curb. The Lincoln Town Car was the older sleek style with that superb suspension that makes that car smooth; great for me as my injuries make any jolts painful. The car was very clean and quiet and had fully functional seat belts; not always found in some car services and not to be taken for granted. When we took a cruise earlier this year, we drove our car to Bayonne Harbor. The cost of parking for a week was not a real bargain vs the round trip limo. Lesson learned.
