I felt God was telling me to just attend. I'm glad that I visited because the sermon message today really was something I needed to hear. The Pastor was in the last day of a series titled "The Strategy of Satan" (read Ephesians 6:10-18). He preached about how in this life, we are engaged in an invisible war. When trials and temptations come your way, be ready to put on the whole armour of God (metaphorically speaking) and fight the devil. The pastor gave real life examples as he preached so the whole message was easy to understand. As the pastor preached, there were notes to follow along on a bulletin. I liked that inside the bulletin, there was a memory verse and next steps on how to get involved with the church. I enjoyed the praise and worship time, prayer, and the little meet and greet session. Everyone I encountered was very friendly snd welcoming. I especially love that the church is diverse - filled with different races with men, women, and children. I've been visiting a few churches these past few weeks and I know where I will end up but I'm still glad that I visited LNLC. **** This is my 110th Yelp review overall. 64 reviews for 2018. He said he was too busy with so many other poor families to join me in a Holy intervention to tell my 50 year old sister to cut the umbilical cord and get a job. But this church and the people in it don't care about poor people. Of course the real worship of 6,000 years is money and keeping the world's wealth to yourself and even without paying taxes. The sermon itself was 80% sing-along; 18% open mic comedy hour; 2% bring a rich white family on stage that over-breeded and clap for their money. The vanity greed and hypocrisy of humanized religion in 2024 is very self-serving of righteousness and judgement served unlimited on tap.

Pastor Matt at Lakewood Vineyard used to attend Vineyard Church of Columbus until him and his wife moved to Cleveland about 5 years ago to start Lakewood Vineyard. I've known Pastor Matt when I lived in Columbus so it is nice to see him now leading a church. While I'm not a member (I go to another church), I enjoy visiting Lakewood Vineyard once in a while because the messages are always so relatable to everyday life. The church is run similarly to most contemporary churches - there is a praise and worship session that lasts for approximately 25 minutes and then the Pastor leads a message for about 25-30 minutes. After the sermon, people are told to walk up to the prayer team to get prayer if they want. Tea and coffee are available inside the main hall. Currently, the church doesn't have their own building yet so they are renting the Masonic Temple as their current, temporary meeting location. The temple is down the street from the Lakewood library. Currently, they are doing a class called "Growth Track" where you can learn about the Church and how to serve in a ministry. I recommend attending all 4 classes of growth track. I attended the 2nd step today (class 2) which was all about finding your spiritual gifts and also learning about your personality type. I look forward to serving on Sundays at this church and growing more in my faith.

Had an 8th grade teacher refer to me and my kids as a "clown car" I didn't feel that joke, or comment was needed on a day when you are first meeting teachers. Lower grade teacher seem to love their jobs and are very informative. When touring the school I suggest you actually cancel the tour and read the handbook. Their grading scale is different from any other school I've worked in, went to, or had my kids in. They make all grades buy PE uniforms, not just the upper classes. Sports are not tied into tuition, that's a separate fee. Field trips are not tied into tuition, also a separate fee. Uniforms for boys are simple, for girls they can not wear skirts for younger grades you have to buy jumpers from school-belles, expect to spend money! Older girls are able to wear skirts, school-belle only. Also not cheap, however they do have a good second hand area where you can obtain used clothes for cheap. Asked for test score was told I had to look them up on my own via Ohio's education websites. Asked for an expense record of how the tuition is spent and was told, they were looking into it. Again, referring you to READ the handbook, everything is in there. You owe service hours (volunteering for the school) regardless if you are on vouchers or not, if your tuition is paid in full or not. Despite if you work full time, go to school full time and are trying to raise kids (Again referring back to compassion and grace). I was impressed with kindergarten and 1st grade. Lovely bunch of staff members there. Only one teacher in 8th grade was interested in knowing parents. They do have a protocol to complain against volunteers and parents, despite what staff might tell you on campus. If you have a complaint with another family it has to be handled through the school.

Our child was there for years and based on our experience and…read morenumerous conversations we had with other parents, the school did not seem interested in supporting kids with learning differences, who are neurodivergent, who have disabilities, or are experiencing mental health challenges such as depression or anxiety. Even common things like accommodating students with ADHD are not appropriately handled (one teacher told a parent her daughter needed to take ADHD meds!). Some teachers publicly shame students by writing their name on the wall if they are behind in assignments. If you have a child there, I suggest carefully considering whether you want to disclose any disabilities or mental health issues your child may have with the school, including if you have your child tested for an IEP or 504. If you do, the school might use that information against your child to unenroll them without warning. I used to sing this school's praises but now I strongly discourage families from attending.

School is haunted, I heard basketballs bouncing in the gym and opened the door, nobody there. Police sketch on cafeteria ceiling really scary, there was a giant sword like shape protruding from victims abdomen. Giant laser beam TNT explosive fire ball found in center courtyard. Scary unmarked door in hallway, students come out speaking alien language. I turned on the faucet and worms came out, they were very dirty and unclean and they smelled a lot like soup, matzo ball soup. The lunch lady plopped some poopy shit on my plate, and she told me that I had to eat it. I wasn't even given any sides and they were all out of Doritos. The only drink options were dirty sewage and 2015 Fourth of July edition Mountain Dew. They only serve day old Taco Bell leftovers. Teachers can be heard weeping from classrooms.

The school has a lot of classes I would have never expected from any school and has West Shore programs available to it, thus making experiences a bit more unique. The school has many clubs, and many great teachers, who help run them, such as: Gamers Club, considered one of the best clubs in the school, is known for its great past, and hopefully its comeback, if you have incoming freshman coming to this school and they want to join, tell them they have to behave in the club, because we don't have much tolerance for rudeness, and that we care for one another. (Meets Fridays) Anime Club, a good club which generally has the same people as Gamers Club, but instead of playing video games together, they watch anime together, and learn about Japanese culture. (Meets Wednesdays) Club Identity, no matter what you are in terms of sexuality, religion, gender identity, or race, you belong here. (Meets 1 Tuesday Monthly) Race and Diversity, discusses various topics, whether it be Spoken Word Night, or The N Word, Materialism and The Holidays, or maybe something on the news happened and they wanna talk about the aspects behind it, this is a great club for anyone who want's to speak their mind. (Meets Every Other Wednesday) Donut Klub -May Be Defunct- Ya sit down, have a doughnut, make a small donation, and talk. (Met 1 Wednesday Every Month in the morning) Horticulture Classes, you get to keep the school grounds looking wonderful for our guests and parents, as well as earn a credit for the year you are in the class. (In class) Social Discussion and Review, a developing club that shows various media, such as TV shows, or advertisements, and then talk about them. What do they mean, do we like them, what makes them so great, or so awful. (Attempts Meetings Every other Tuesday) Key Club, they do a lot for our school, (Unsure of meeting days, Thursday mornings maybe?) and many more! Now if you wanna read on the rules, remember, don't wear hoodies, keep your headphones away during class changes, dont text in the hallways, dont be late, you will be caught and its not fun.
