I received a beautiful bunch of flowers from here for my Birthday in December and they lasted for absolutely ages, it was such a beautiful addition to my living room, I would love to have fresh flowers in my house all the time (if I could afford it!) They also have small gifts which can be sent, such as boxes of chocolates, and small decorative items such as ornaments and Christmas decorations.

She said she would do her best and an hour or so later the flowers were delivered! Firstly we had a private meeting with the main florist Karen, who talked us through options and showed us different styles of flowers, bouquets, arrangements and colour palates. She took lots of time and helped us make the right choices according to our budget and needs. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff in general were all very obliging and helpful any time we called in to make a payment or emailed to ask a question. They liaised with the Church independently and took all the work and responsibility out of our hands. The peony arrangements in the church were commented on by everyone and I absolutely loved my bouquet - I didn't put it down all day. Stylish, modern and sophisticated in a nutshell. Not cheap though!

The plants and flowers are stored under a massive glass roof which gives it a hothouse effect - it was scorching the last day I was in. There is a large selection of real flowers as well as fake plants. The garden ornaments, wind chimes and decorations are beautiful but quite expensive. Anything you need for your garden, I could almost swear you would find it here. Out the front there is a gift store filled with toys and jewels and candles. At Christmas it is like a little Santa's grotto filled with internal and external ornaments for the home. I love it at Christmas time.

Ferguson has fresh new flowers delivered regularly to their shop so you can be sure of finding something pretty to decorate your home yourself or for buying a lovely gift for that someone special. However I found there was a problem with the some of the members of staff who worked there. I found that one of the older members of staff was incredibly rude, unprofessional and bad mannered. As on that day I was in a rush, I needed flowers quickly, and the level of service that was provided by that particular older woman was dismal. If this woman shows this much lack of respect to her customers, I can only dread to think what she treats her fellow employees like. It was a great shame, as the shop could have had so much potential, and its only redeeming quality was the friendly younger members of staff who worked there. I hope that this woman changes her attitude to customers, as I cannot see this shop surviving for that much longer in this current economic climate. In fact the only reason I see it surviving at the moment is due to the younger members of staff propping up the good service that this shop needs.

I used Interflora to get three bunches of flowers on seperate occasions. They used Daisy Chain on…read moreall 3 occasions and on each occasion they sent the wrong types and colours of flowers. I made a complaint to Interflora and they apologised for the inconvience and said that they would send another bunch of flowers on the Saturday. Saturday came and went and we decided to ring the Daisy Chain to see where the flowers were. When we rang them they were rude and said they had no intention of delivering any flowers. I decided to ring Interflora to make a formal complaint. After 10 minutes they rang back to say they had been in contact and flowers would be sent within half an hour. Half an hour later and the flowers did arrive but not by the Daisy Chain but by Dobbins. From the phone conversation we had assumed that the Daisy Chain was going to deliver but in their stubborness, they obviously refused. I will never ever deal with this florists again.
